that's interesting I'm currently in the
process of setting up a big hosting test
it's taking me a little while cuz I need
to sign up for lots to do and hosting
completed from the process doing you
know of course also need to sign up for
each of their affiliate programs you
know what it's like but yeah I'm gonna
be doing I'm gonna be basically
installing a copy of a bow while text I

the reason why I mention this is that a
lot of people have said that SiteGround
which is the hosting company that
Michael has just mentioned are really
good so on that note Michael I'm going
to ask you a couple questions like why
are you leaving site ground first off
was there a problem what what happened
and then secondly I'll talk to you about
how you can possibly move your site
because you said what did you say you
said you had to renew before you can
move your site which sounds terrible I'm
going to have an order to get access to
that my site an order set up yeah okay
that makes it I mean in order to move a
site you obviously need access to the
site start with and if your hosting is
lapsed then they may suspend suspend
your hosting so you can actually a site
so if you are gonna move away from
hosting it's probably good idea to do it
with a month or so left on your hosting
so you got plenty of time to move your
stuff over
now the way I move sites is that I don't
ask any hosting companies to do that and
this is wpengine because they've got a
really cool kind of site mover tool
generally I use the duplicator putt
plugin
you'll find it in the WordPress plug-in
place and yeah that's the easiest way I
find to move science but yeah anyway

and products do I delete the old sitemap

else's niche is a bad idea
first is you don't know if it's a good
niche or not anyway just cuz someone

mean that it's a good niche secondly
they've already got a head start on you
in that niche they've got their site up
and running they've probably been
promoting it marketing it whatever so
you're gonna be coming to the party a
bit late there and third reason is just
don't copy other people's stuff it's
just not a good thing to do and the
reason why I just thought about this is
because I didn't get any money other day
and it was someone's affiliate website I
was in a food web site and it was all
around dog stuff very much like dog dog
dog tech and belltech I should say and
and the site was even called something
like dog wow-wow or something calm like
the name was pretty much the same and I
just thought yeah don't copy other
people's issues so yeah if you want to
share your site then fine but people may
copy even though I've said that

keywords so different keywords have
different competition on them you should
expect to rank quite quickly for the
lower competition keywords and that kind
of brings a background to Doug's keyword
golden ratio which allows you to try and
find some of those low competition
keywords but if you're going for
something like your your name flooring
supplies you know if you wanted to rank
on that I'd imagine that's quite a
competitive keywords that can take some
time you can take a lot of work and work
try stuff there's also thinking and that
the more established sites rank better
so if you've got a brand new domain name
and a brand new hosting a brand new
website that could take a little long
to rank because you're a brand new site
but yeah once you're in dates you should
at least come up for your brand that's
how you can so you know if you do a
search on Google now for bow while tech
which is the dog site yeah it comes up
number one but then I notice
again interestingly do such a good
enough balloting and there is another
pub that has popped up on blog spot.com
where they have just taken some of my
content and ideas and images and even
the name and just trying to rip me off
but I guess that's that's what it's all

out they've got a post all about
infographics so yeah here's the

reviews this is sort of thing we just
talked about earlier I think it's
because you need the API in order to get
reviews and that tool does not use the
API Michael Woods has never tried the
affiliate wrote so question is what sort
of Commission can you expect from Amazon
well it's between 1 and 8 percent
depends on the categories you're
promoting it's not high it's not you
know nowhere near the highest fact it's
pretty one of the lowest commission
rates that you get an affiliate
marketing however there's some benefits
to pointing arrows in the first is
they've got a lot of products so you can
find a niche and then you can find
products to promote within that niche
that's good
the second thing is its Amazon so most
people are familiar with Amazon they are
confident in ordering with Amazon
because you know that it's all safe and
you not gonna lose your money in the
internet your password tomorrow that
kinda thing so conversion rate is very
high you know if you're promoting a
lesser-known merchants some random for
their part
sending traffic to that is harder to get
the conversion because people don't know
who they are they don't trust them so
yeah there's a call of benefits to
promoting Amazon but yeah the commission
rate is quite low and though you know
I've heard from people that have easily
done four figures a month from Amazon so
can own as much as you want really huh

about my office this is yeah it's an
affiliate mancave so little space in the
house we're getting a bit of peace

don't try and earn a commission off that
