Isana may not be the right tool for you

I really like a sauna and I basically

use it every day for niche site project

actual niche sites and I use it for

personal projects for example my wife

and I are using it to plan a vacation

right now it's very versatile and I

actually like assignor quite a lot

however there may be situations where a

sauna is not the best tool for you so

first of all asan is great if you're

working on a team a sign is a free tool

so that's great you just need to enter

your email address I think you could

even sign in with Google+ and then you

can start using it right away it's very

simple and you know there's really no

learning curve for the very basic

applications what are some of the things

that you can do with the sauna you can

create a task list for example you could

assign owners to those tasks so for

example going back to planning a

vacation maybe we need to get a hotel at

a couple different areas and we can

assign that task to each other you can

put tasks into projects so you can group

all the tasks associated with a

particular thing that you're working on

all together and the other nice thing is

you can add comments to those tasks so

again going back to the vacation example

if the task to book a hotel and a

certain you know for certain night at a

certain place is assigned to me and I

have a question about it maybe I can add

a comment asking if there was a

particular hotel that I needed to book

for that night and then my wife would be

able to see that I added a comment there

she could respond to it and the main

thing here is it is not in an email so

what happens a lot of times is if you're

working with a group you may end up with

an email thread that has a huge amount

of information lots of back and forth

and it's kind of unmanageable to

effective

get information from that threat working

in a sauna it really removes you from

email and get you out of the inbox and

you can look at the task and anything

associated with it so it's very good for

that sort of thing now why is this on it

maybe not the right tool for you if you

don't have a team that you're working

with then asana may be overkill in fact

if you're just working alone there's a

good chance you could probably just use

a spreadsheet a simple project plan

template or format which you can get a

link to below or yeah you can get that

project plan template below is probably

all you need and simply you just need a

list of the tasks a start date and end

date and maybe an owner again if you're

working by yourself and you don't have a

team then you're the owner of that task

and it sort of removes the need to keep

all this you know extra overhead or do

any of this extra overhead using a tool

like a song it's kind of cool to use a

new tool and you know the danger is it's

really just a distraction when you

actually should be executing on your

plan or writing down your actual plane

and then executing on it I know you know

there's a lot of them out there there's

Trello there's a sauna base camp there's

there's several more and sometimes you

just need to make a list of the things

you're going to do and then do them well

this is my thoughts on the sauna if
