and this is exactly what I told myself
just a few short months ago when I was
struggling with my affiliate marketing

you the four things that I did and I
changed so that I wouldn't suck at
affiliate marketing and if you find

you ran into some of the same issues and
difficulties that I ran into just a few
short months ago with my affiliate
marketing business you may have felt the
same way about yourself you may have
felt like I did and said to yourself
maybe this just isn't for you maybe I
don't have the skills or the know-how
enough of that to actually be a
successful marketer and own an online
business well I'm gonna share with you
the four things that I did the four
steps that I took so that I could create
an online business and a successful one
at that so guys make sure you watch to

the very first step that I took was to
pick one platform to grow my online
business YouTube was the platform of
choice for me the problem I was running
into is I was trying to be everywhere
all the time everywhere at once and it
just didn't work for me because I was
spreading myself way too thin I was
trying to be on YouTube and grow a
channel I jumped onto Twitter and
started trying to create an online
business using Twitter I also jumped on
Instagram I even started promoting
myself on Pinterest now those are all
great platforms to start an online
business and to grow your business the
problem is if you don't just pick one of
those and master it and go all-in 100%
you're gonna be spreading yourself way
too thin especially somebody who's doing
this part-time because you have a
full-time career already we all have at
home responsibilities children housework
all of these things are big parts of our
lives let's just face it and when you
try to be everywhere at once with a
limited amount of time that a lot of us
have then we get nowhere on every one of
those platforms because we never are
able to finish or master that one
platform so the one thing I decided to
do was I'm going to pick one platform
only and YouTube was that platform I
have been able to utilize that power and
leverage that YouTube provides because
there's millions and millions of people
and traffic going through the YouTube
platform on a daily basis so I decided I
wanted to master how to get as much of
that traffic in front of my videos which
would then bring them in front of my
offers so I decided to study on how the
YouTube algorithm works I decided to
invest in tools like tube buddy to help
me rank my videos because I knew that if
I could rank my videos no matter how
small my channel was like get my videos
on the first page of YouTube I'm gonna
get views and with those views I might
get subscribers and those subscribers
are all warm traffic and warm traffic is
the most important traffic to me because
they already like you may know
you and they trust you so here's the
added bonus with YouTube YouTube has a
Partnership Program YouTube will
monetize your channel after you've
achieved 4,000 hours of watch time
within a 12-month period and you have
1,000 subscribers so not only can I
promote my affiliate products on the
YouTube platform with warm traffic but
now I've also created a second stream of
income with YouTube Adsense they
actually pay me to show ads on my videos
so to me YouTube was a no-brainer
I'm not saying jump in to YouTube I'm
saying pick one platform whether it's
YouTube whether it's Instagram Twitter
whatever the case may be
pick one go all in a hundred percent
start marketing yourself start creating
your brand on that platform I've just
recently jumped into Facebook and
started promoting my videos on Facebook
and I will expand from there but I
didn't do that
until I knew that my youtube channel was
getting established and it had over a
thousand subscribers so remember guys
don't spread yourself too thin pick one
platform master that platform and then
you can add another one and then master
that one as well
the second thing I did to help me not
suck at affiliate marketing I decided to
do research onto the products or the
programs that I was offering at the time
to make sure it was a quality product
and a quality program because at the end
of the day people are looking for help
people are looking for help on how to
learn how to make money online and if
they're looking up to you and your brand
as a person or the channel that is going
to help them with their problem then you
better be sure that you are offering a
product or a service that you can be
proud of that you know is going to help
people whether it's a training program
whether it's an affiliate program
whatever the case is you got to be sure
that you're offering something that
you're willing to stand behind so before
I decided to take these four steps I was
promoting anything that was thrown in
and once again I never got anything
accomplished because I was trying to
take on too much I didn't do any
research about what the programs I was
offering I just thought it sounded like
a great idea on in that coupled with the
fact I was trying to promote it on all
the platforms equals zero commissions
zero productivity and the reason why I
say I sucked at affiliate marketing to
begin with so just be sure that you are
offering a legitimate system or program
that has actually helped you with your
business as well so the third thing I
did and I'm sure you've heard this
before but it changed my business and it
changed the way I looked at affiliate
marketing get a mentor find somebody in
this space that has proven success that
is also willing to help you find
somebody that resonates with you see
when I jumped in here I thought I could
do this all by myself because I've
always been able to accomplish things
all by myself for the most part in
business outside of affiliate marketing
but this is a whole different animal
here I made so many mistakes and it cost
me so much money I don't want to talk
about I'm embarrassed to tell you how
much and those were very expensive
lessons that I could have avoided had I
just invested that some of that money
that I lost into a mentor a proven six
or seven figure super affiliate that
will walk you step-by-step and guide you
through the things that most people
don't know when they're starting off
their business so instead of throwing
all that money out the window and
wasting all that money I could have
taken a small portion of that money and
invested it into a program and a mentor
that I truly believed in that would help
me in understanding and in growing my
business now I'm not sitting there
telling you what mentor to go with you
have to decide that for yourself like I
did but find somebody that you know you
can trust that will be with you step by
step that will be there to help you even
after you
best of the money into them and into
their program I mean think about it we
go to college for four years to spend
forty to sixty thousand dollars for that
college education to be educated on how
to do something but if you could spend
ten thousand dollars one time for a
mentor that'll show you everything you
need to know on how to build grow and
sustain a profitable online business why
wouldn't you do that so in my view a
good quality mentor is worth that
person's weight in gold only if I knew
that at the beginning had to switch
spots because my microphone went out so
I'm using another microphone if it
sounds a little different so the fourth
thing that I did to help me not suck
with affiliate marketing was I went from
low ticket products to high ticket
products now I've done many videos on
this and the that one move that one
change has completely changed my
business it has completely elevated my
business to a whole different level so
what I was doing I was spending back my
very limited time that I had which I
mentioned earlier in this video because
I was doing this part-time what I was
doing was spinning my wheels with low
ticket products because it takes the
same amount of effort and time to set up
a system and a funnel to promote a low
ticket item as it does a high ticket
item so let me put that in perspective
if your financial goal is to make a
thousand dollars per week and you're
selling an item that's a hundred dollars
and you're gonna get a fifty percent
commission on that hundred dollars you
would need to sell 20 of those to equal
your financial goal of a thousand dollar
commissions for that week on the flip
side if you took an item or a product
that you're promoting that's twenty-five
hundred dollars you're getting fifty
percent commission you just need to sell
one of those per week to hit that
financial goal of a thousand dollars per
week so when I realize that I decided to
start promoting nothing but high ticket
offers and like I said guys that one
has made all the difference in the world
in my business it's given me
life-changing Commission's that I would
have gotten with a low ticket offers so
by doing these four things by changing
these four things because I really was
sucking at affiliate marketing when I
started has allowed me to create an
online sustainable profitable business
and I'm proof that anybody can do this

you will stand behind products that you
feel good about products that have
proven themselves to work get a mentor
that will guide you and help you through
the process of this vast business that's
ever-changing called affiliate marketing
and if you haven't already done it I
highly urge you to go from low ticket
offers to high ticket offers especially
if you're a beginner a lot of people
think well I need to earn the right to
start promoting high ticket offers or
I'm not ready to start promoting as I'm
so new that is not true promoting the
offer is promoting the offer why not use
your time more efficiently and your
investment
efficiently and go with high ticket so
that the payback is so much more and
don't forget the one last ingredient
you've got to take massive action every
day
