again we will know a bit of a video
tutorial on how to set up a blog with
WordPress but before we get into that I
wanna send a quick story I was at the
open education project forward with the
other day and one of the new members
asked if she was able to link to another
blog from her block and how could you do
it and that set further down my spine
thinking oh no one of the people who
reading some of WordPress don't know how
to do that stuff as well so I fought a
better cover basic so we're gonna do
writing a blog post today just making
sure that you know how to do it how to
add linked how to add images and that's
about it we'll go from there yeah so
first of all I talk about is a blog post
so i call them blog post some people
call articles some people call and blog
content you can call it what you want
but essentially it's what you write to
appear on your blog so it feels visa
snippets of blog posts and size of a
block of wordpress and hopefully in the
health set up a blog with wordpress they
may find us and i may leave a comment in
it anyway on mission ops same principle
applies I've got snippets with the
contents when you click on the article
title you get to the content and the
content is the post the blog post it's a
post operated on article are creative
and it just sits in there forever nicely

essentially what a blog post is
having a spat it really is to start with
some things that are included in a blog
post I'm going to use my flops as an
example okay and receive Occam looking
for my tags there you go tags posts to
get your foot your post found a bit
easier you should tag your posts tags
and little indications about what your
poster about for instance you see my tax
here our image SEO or picture a
co-catalyst what post category your post
closing is pretty important and again
when we correct the post will create a
new category for our post as well I've
got images as you can see my posts and
then again my images have a little title
there the titles are also SEO optimized
you should do that as well and what else
if there's a hyperlink get very those
hyperlinks in here our own link to it
the resource for getting through
photographs I'll show you how to end a
hyperlink and also to add a hyperlink so
that your page stays open so it doesn't
close your patient and see in a person's
blog okay lastly I'll show you how to
add a featured image now i'll show you
two different examples of each images

title is the most important piece of the
article or if it's the most important
part of the article it's a perk it's the
first part of the reader will see and
its attention color that you need to get
there and then they always say
curiosity's a great one but I'm pretty
pensive noise and titles on time while

in your title as not all capitals where
capitals is the first letter than you

a key word related terms to put it
