winter in this video I want to share
with you some of the best free Shopify
apps for this year now this is gonna be
an up to date list with some of the best
apps you can get absolutely free and of
course there are some apps out there
that are really good and you should
probably pay for of course there are
some apps as well which are totally free
and pretty much every website or Shopify
site that I have has these free apps
included hey by the way if you're new to

let's now jump into the best free shop
fight apps for this year all right so
the first app that I really like is
called in cut up so and essentially what
this does is an upsell to your cart but
what I really like about it is that it's
a really integrated upsell as we'll see
right here so let's say that we here on
the product page it's just a standard
product package on their demo store if I
was a customer and I wanted to buy these
glasses I would click enter cart and
then as you can see right here this is
the standard you know checkout cart but
what we have up here is the in cut up so
and it's a really nice integration I
feel so this is on a cut the pulls out
but you can also have it on the standard
page as well but as you can see they've
added a little description here so 85%
of shoppers buy a case to protect their
sunglasses and you can have your image
and you can also have all of your
different variants but what's great is
that it's just pretty much a one-click
easy kind of up settle that you can get
because most people are going to be like
well it's only $2 to click Add to Cart
and what you'll see is that it instantly
is in their cart like that so it's super
easy not much kind of trouble for the
user to have to go through and it's a
great way to kind of increase the volume
and the amount of money they're getting
from each customer so obviously once
they checkout you'll be able to see that
it'll all be in the same cart and it's
just a really good way of getting a few
extra dollars
4-h of your kind of age for your
customers the next app is called
ultimate salesperson this one is great
because it's got a lot of features
packed in one so if you're looking for
kind of one app to really get a lot of
you know urgency and scarcity and really
try and boost your sales this one's
definitely want to look at so let's take
a look at their demo store so they have
so many different things that you can
have either on your product page or in
your collection page so take a quick
look at the collection page right here
now this one here you can see that we
have these little tags at the top here
which really do catch your eye so let's
say someone's checking out these white
t-shirts they can see that this this is
a new arrival or this one here is at its
best price so it's a small thing but you
probably don't want them on all of these
but you know if you do have this on one
of your images it's really going to help
catch the eye now let's take a look at
the product page because this is really
where it's going to make a big
difference in getting some conversions
so the first one is a buyer X and get Y
that's buy one get one free pretty much
you can see here we have this little tag
down here that says buy two bags of
ground coffee and get a mug at 50% off
so that might there get people to buy an
extra bag of coffee and that's always
good and you can also see up here we've
got Bo geo
as well on the image another one is
you're going to be having cross badges
which can be really quite good as you
can see here we've got all of these
secure and trusted checkout badges Visa
MasterCard and American Express PayPal
Shopify
you probably don't want to have all of
these on here but you know having one or
two of these is really good especially
the 30 days money-back guarantee because
that really helps build trust with the
customer we can have the promotion label
as we saw before limited quantities up
here that looks really quite nice
free shipping message so this one here
is really good because this is going to
offer free shipping on orders over $50
so what this is going to do is get
people hopefully to order $50 worth
rather than just say nineteen dollars
worth so they might end up buying three
t-shirts instead of just one in order to
get free shipping
we've gotta get it by timer so this
one's interesting so this one here shows
that you can get this product but only
within 8 hours 2 minutes and 17 seconds
if they want to get it on September 17th
again this is really good for scarcity
so people might be you know pushing it
off I'll be able to get it you know by
September 17th anyway but no with this
little timer here it's really going to
push them to hopefully and it to the cut
another one is this animated add to cart
button I'm a little bit hesitant on this
one I don't really like this one I think
it's a little bit too in-your-face and a
little bit too showy so if you want it
you can have it and you know have this
animated Add to Cart button for me I'd
probably not have that one goes another
one is a countdown timer and we saw this
one before but it's a little bit
different this one here's more if you've
got a sale it's going to have a you know
the L is the minute and seconds you can
have a low inventory warning it's really
important with this one here is that you
guys are honest with this because if you
are always going to be having all of
your items on a low inventory or if
you've got a digital item or something
like that that you're gonna be having
with you know low in stock that's not
gonna be great but this really can help
because a lot of people will be like oh
you know there's only three left and I
better get in and buy it before then
next up we've got a super simple app but
one that I do recommend this is called
inter feed and essentially what this is
going to allow you to do is have a
Instagram feed on your website and it's
really easy to use this is the best one
that I've come across in terms of
functionality and ease of use to set up
there are lots of other ones out there
some are paid but this one here is just
really easy you can adjust the distance
between the images you can also have
them all the way stretched out and if we
click over it you can see a hover got
the Instagram logo got your likes and
comments and if we click on it we do get
a a pop up of the actual image and you
can also view it on Instagram but I
think this one is super easy this here
does have some extra functionality on
being able to buy them but I think
that's in their paid version but as you
can see it's super easy if you want to
get a Instagram feed on your website now
by far one of my favorite apps is this
one here it's called
free shipping bar by hexton I actually
talked about this one last year but I
loved it and it's still one of my
favorites
now essentially what this is going to do
is allow you to have a pop bar along
your website and what it's going to
encourage people to do is get free
shipping by adding more things to their
cut so this is their their demo it's a
really weird demo because it's kind of
like a Halloween theme but I guess we're
actually coming up to Halloween so it's
kind of cool as you can see right here
we've got free shipping for all orders
over $100 so in order to do this I would
need to buy a few different things so
you know let's say it's actually going
to be 50 but dollars not 100 dollars but
let's add to cart'
what it does it actually changes the the
amount automatically whenever you add
something to the cart so now I'm only
eighty dollars away with free shipping
so pretty much anyone who's going to be
adding things to their cart are going to
see that and they're gonna be thinking
hmmm well I really do want to get free
shipping or it could be to get a free
gift
or it could be to get a 20% off kind of
you know sale or something like that
essentially what people are going to be
doing is you know adding more to their
cart hopefully so if we go to our cart
right here and we add two and it updates
we'll be able to see that this here
really has changed so it's only 60
dollars away so just for example let's
now change it to five and we'll update
it and you'll see that it's now changed
to congratulations you've got free
shipping so you can change all of the
text that you want to have here and
again I wouldn't have this kind of
distracting top bar but you get the idea
it really is very powerful
you know maybe you would have that for
30 dollars or you'd have it for $50 $100
is quite a lot for something like
t-shirts because most people are going
to be buying 5 t-shirts but I think you
get the idea this is a fantastic app to
really increase a lot of sales and it's
definitely worked well for a lot of my
stores a basic app that pretty much
everyone needs on their website is
product reviews and this one here is
actually made by Shopify itself so you
know it's going to be a very very good
app essentially what this is going to
allow you to do is have reviews on your
website
look here this is what they look like
you can customize this a fair bit but
it's really basic it works well it's a
lightweight app it doesn't add a lot of
you know slowness to your website people
can add their name a review four out of
five stars or five out of five stars and
then you can also edit them if you need
to as well
as you can see right here but it's a
basic app free and everyone needs it
reviews really do help with the social
proof and kind of just the trust of a
website now I'm not going to go too much
into this one because it's dedicated if
you're going to be doing drop shipping
but if you are new to the world of
Shopify and you're looking for a way to
start drop shipping a billow is pretty
much the number one way of doing it it's
going to help you kind of you know
pretty much just set up your whole drop
shipping store you've got to find
products you'll be able to add them to
your store you'll be able to interact
with LA Express and Alibaba and it just
works really really well Oberoi is
number one if you're looking for a drop
shipping app and it's free so another
free app that I really like here is
called thank you email by Auto kidding
and this app here it shows that
sometimes the most basic apps are really
really good so all this app does is send
a thank you email to any customers who
either sign up for your newsletter or
who buy something so it's just like
getting a thank you letter in the post
from someone who bought something from
and you know it's really basic but it
does help build that kind of friendly
rapport and good kind of will for your
your website so it's super easy to set
up if you take a look here
you can choose the delay in which you
want it centered at so it could be 30
minutes it could be an hour and then you
can just pretty much have your automated
email so these guys here have said hi

and what I really like about this is
that the founder of the website has
written it and it looks like a very very
like handwritten email so it's it's a
lot better than you know sending these
kind of automated newsletters with
pictures and things like that this is
just a very nice basic email and
honestly this does work really well
what's great as well is that you can
also see who's open this and which
one's been sent again super basic email
app but it really does work very well
another app that I really like that just
works is the free persistent card app
and I use this on all of my website and
essentially what this does is allow your
customers to have their cart you know
appear on their phone on their iPad or
on their computer no matter where they
are wherever they're logged in so let's
say that they you know come to your
website and add some things to their
cart on your computer when they go onto
their phone and they log in as well
they'll have the exact same things in
their cart
Ravin ready to go so they don't have to
riad it again which could be a big pain
especially if people you know have spent
a lot of time adding things to their
cart it just takes away a lot of the the
difficulty in getting people to checkout
so like you can see here you can have it
on the iPad you can have it on the
desktop and you can also have it on the
phone it's just one of these ones that
makes it a lot easy a lot easier and it
really does work well now if you guys
have a new store I would definitely have
a look at plug-in SEO and essentially
what this is going to do is help you
improve your SEO rankings now if you
don't know what SEO is it's search
engine optimization and it's pretty much
how you're gonna be found in Google so
if you've got good SEO you're gonna be
up top in the rankings if you've got
really bad SEO you're gonna be nowhere
near in the rankings gonna be pages and
pages around so it's always good to have
good SEO and what this app does is it
helps you improve your SEO through a
number of ways so you can check kind of
your SEO problems you can check your
page speed whether or not you've got the
right keywords and if you've got any
broken links it's pretty much just a
plug in feature that allows you to
really just see if you've got any major
problems and you can quickly fix them
rather than having to you know go and
audit your website yourself this really
helps with making sure all of your SEO
is good from the start another app that
I really like is called tabs by station
so this is the best tabs app that I have
found by far and a lot of the other tabs
apps are really really terrible
essentially if you don't know what a tab
is it's a way in which you can have more
information in your description
just by having these little tabs that
people can click on so if we take a look
at one of their demos here you can see
that this is a tab so it got the tabs at
the top here so reviews materials
shipping sizing chart and when you click
on each of these tabs it's going to show
the information without it being a
really really long page so it's super
easy to setup you can adjust all of the
colors you can adjust all of the font
and it just works really really well so
guys if you are looking for a really
good tabs app you can even have drag and
drop this is the one that I would
recommend like I said before there are
lots of other tabs apps but I wouldn't
even bother this is one that I use on
all of my stuff and another one that I
really love is printful if you're
looking to do print on demand this is
the one that I would totally recommend
printful allows you to essentially you
know sell merchandise t-shirts hats mugs
photos pretty much everything without
having to have your own you know print
shop essentially it's just print on
demand they have so many different
products that you can choose customize
and design you know like I said hats
t-shirts pretty much everything you need
and it's very easy to plug in place so
you would just add the app to your
Shopify website add your own design to
the the t-shirts and things like that
and then once someone orders them
printful will print it and they'll send
it off for you and you just get a
commission so it's actually a fair bit
of you know profit that you can make so
roughly around about twelve dollars for
a t-shirt that you would make in profit
and the great thing is that you don't
have to ever have any t-shirt blanks so
you don't have to have any ink we don't
have to have any printers or even don't
even have to deal with deliveries it
really is super easy and the other thing
that I really like about printful is
that they actually have a warehouse in
America they've got two warehouses in
America they've also got a European
warehouse in Latvia which means that
your European customers can also buy
your things with fast shipping as you
can see right here shipping from Latvia
to Sweden takes two to seven days which
is super quick
rather than having a weight and deal
with customs as well outside of the EU
so there you go guys that was some of
the best free Shopify apps that I would
recommend you install on your website I
installed them on my own
Shopify sites and they have really
good a lot of them have some great
functionality and it's great that they
can be free you don't always have to be
paying for apps just to get that
functionality that's it for today guys
