on the Shopify App Store but which ones
can directly help you make more money
and get more sales well in this video
I'm gonna share with you my favorite
apps which really can help you increase
sales and also increase your income hey

alright let's now jump in to the very
first app and guys Before we jump into
this video I put a link in the
description box below with the 25 best
FREE Shopify apps so if you want to
check that out it goes into a lot more
detail than this video here itself and
maybe there'll be some that you want to
check out as well so that link will be
in the description box below
alright so let's jump into it now with
the first step and the first one is
called free shipping bar by hexton than
I've used this one for a long time and
use it on pretty much all of my websites
especially if you've got physical items
it's a really fantastic app for that so
what does the app do well essentially it
adds a top bar to the top of your
website and encourages people to add
more things to their cart so in turn
they will get free shipping so let's
take a look at it here as you can see
it's a really popular app it's got eight
thousand two hundred and thirty five
customer reviews with a 4.9 star rating
which is fantastic mine bottle boggling
but you can see on the top here as we
look at a few of these graphics you can
customize it exactly the way you want
what I would generally recommend is to
have kind of an a minimal design a few
of these are a little bit crazy you can
see that you get free shipping on orders
over $100 so if we can take a look at
this sample store here again they've got
a crazy designer Halloween design
probably not going to recommend it but
it does catch your eye so they've got
free shipping for all orders over $100
so let's add the cycling tee to the cart
click on Add to Cart and you can see
it's gone to the cart now and with only
$80 away from free shipping so if your
customer sees that and they're like mmm
free shipping costs $10 or $20 maybe
they will be encouraged
to order a few more so you could have
that as you know a $40 free shipping
offer so what we can do is jump to the
cart and we'll see exactly how this
works so for us to get $100 for the free
shipping we would have to obviously
change that to quantity as five update
that and you can see it's now changed to
congratulations you've got free shipping
which is really cool and it's definitely
something that I as a consumer reviews
many times in the past if I don't want
to pay for shipping and let's say that
you know I'm buying a t-shirt for $45
and it's $10 shipping if it's going to
be meaning that I only have to spend
another $5 to get free shipping I'm very
likely to do that so this is definitely
in one of my favorite apps super easy to
use
super easy to customize I think you can
pay for more customization options and
have kind of like geo tagging as well
but the free option is really good and
it's definitely a great app so the next
app is one that I've used for many years
and it's to me the best print-on-demand
app it's called printful and they've got
a fantastic set up essentially what
print-on-demand is if you don't know it
allows you to create your own
merchandise and sell it without ever
having to have your own you know shop to
produce the things so the way that it
would work is that you set up your own
Shopify website and then you install the
app and then with printful you can
upload your logos or your designs and
then get them on t-shirts hoodies mugs
all that good stuff it works really well
and the great thing is is it essentially
once you've got it installed and set up
print will take over the the rest of it
so if we take a look here at a demo
store I actually do have a couple of
stores running on it here but we look at
the demo store for now you can see that
they really do have a number of
different merchandise that you can have
from fanny packs to sports browsers to
leggings to posters backpacks and all of
this so essentially you would upload
this design so we've got this little
triangle design here and then what we
can do is just click on this and once
this is ordered printful will then
fulfill the order they will print the
backpack
or the t-shirt or whatever sorry though
they'll print the t-shirt or whatever
and then they will package it and send
it off and then send a tracking number
to the person so essentially you are
only going to be uploading their design
and then printful is going to do the
rest of the work so it's really
fantastic and then essentially you can
choose how much you want to sell it for
so for example a t-shirt on printful
costs around about $8 - for the cost
price that you can sell with the t-shirt
for maybe twenty four dollars or thirty
dollars and then add postage on top of
that as well and you can really make a
good profit with it this is a fantastic
way of you know creating your own little
brand without having to invest in a
screen printer t-shirt blanks ink and
all the delivery costs as well so
definitely one of my favorite apps if
you want to make a good amount of money
and if you or we just need to do is come
up with a good design
now another app that can really help
boost sales is called the ultimate sales
boost which is a perfect name especially
if you're into getting a little bit more
when someone comes to your store so what
is the ultimate sales boost well it's a
group of kind of plugins that you can
add to your website to really increase
like urgency and scarcity which is
essentially having someone come to your
website and rather than thinking oh I've
got plenty of time to buy this this
shirt or something like that it all it
all kind of speeds up a little bit and
there's a few reasons as you will see
why they might want to buy a little bit
quicker so if we take a look at one of
their features on this this plugin you
can see here we've got the t-shirt just
a general you know template here but
there's a few things they've added in so
you can add in a free shipping over
orders over $50 one that I really like
is this one here if you order within a
certain time they'll have a countdown
timer you can get it by a certain date
and this is a fantastic thing and it's
something that I think Amazon really
pioneered that you know if you order it
within the next two hours you get it
shipped by tomorrow and then it'll be
delivered it works really well and you
could also do it you know order within
three hours and 41 minutes but you get
it at a lower price so again
you've got that kind of urgency in that
scarcity as well actually talking about
scarcity this is really more of a
example of scarcity that you can have
with this app as well is that you can
say that what they only have five left
in stock so out of 200 products there's
only five left in stock people really
might want this t-shirt so if they see
that there's only five left it can
really boost your sales and get people
you know purchasing rather than not now
I wouldn't recommend putting all of
these things on your page I think it's
it's too much it's too much kind of
shouting at you to buy now if you can
use a few of these things it's a really
good idea anymore and it's a little bit
too much but it really does help to kind
of push people over the edge to buy your
products another one that they've got
here is the deal of the day so again
this could be something that you have on
your website
they've got a deal of the day for the
next one hour that you're gonna be
getting it at $10 off that's not a bad
little idea and I probably wouldn't use
this little button Buy It Now button
which is going crazy I think that looks
really amateurish so I wouldn't use that
but again these are things that you can
add with the olden ultimate sellers
boost and yeah it's it's really quite a
good app and another app that I love to
use and is on a lot of my websites is
the digital downloads app now it's
actually built by Shopify themselves so
it's really it's a really solid app it's
a very basic but essentially what it
allows you to do is show digital
products in your store so you could be
selling you know Lightroom presets or
like doubtin downloadable was like a
calendar or things like that and what's
great about it is that with with digital
downloads they're essentially 100%
profit someone will come to your website
you might have your digital download it
might be a course or something or like a
video guide let's say it's a 10 or 20
dollars you you'll get the the $20
payment and pretty much you pocket that
$20 payment minus your fees with the
payment providers and things like that
but it's a fantastic way to get into the
world of you know selling digital
products which are just amazing because
you just have such low overheads with it
now I use this like I said before with
Lightroom presets which are essentially
like a filter that you can put on top of
your photos and it's super easy you know
six or seven months ago I uploaded this
file
again it's just like a zipped file that
you upload and pretty much every day
people buy that letter in preset and
I'll just get the payment it's super
easy like that so if you don't have any
ideas for digital downloads I'll
consider making a video giving you some
different ideas but it's a great way to
have a highly profitable product without
having to worry about you know shipping
postage returns and all of that stuff so
digital downloads app is definitely one
of my favorites so there you go guys
though just a couple of apps that
hopefully will help you increase sales
on your Shopify site and as we always do

what would you recommend drop shipping
or starting a personal brand it really
depends on what your skills are and how
far you are into kind of this world of
entrepreneurship especially this kind of
online entrepreneurship but generally
for me I'm going to go with a personal
brand nine times out of ten because in
the long run I think it's going to be a
lot more successful and it's a lot less
stressful compared to doing drop
shipping which can be quite profitable
at first there is a bit of work coming
into it and you've got to really know
what you're doing
but I really find that if you've got a
personal brand there's so many different
ways that you can branch out into making
different money from it you know there's
just different monetization ways and
once you've got that personal brand
generally it's gonna last a whole lot
longer than you know setting up a drop
shipping site which might make you a
little bit of money in the short run but
in the long run you don't really have
anything and you know if you get one bag
product that's got a lot of better
reviews people are gonna be coming back
to you rose with a personal brand it's
gonna be the kind of the opposite of
that people are gonna be coming back
more and more because of your personal
brand so I would always try and you know
really build a solid brand you know give
away a lot of good information build
this brand and build up this kind of
reputation and then in the in the future
you can definitely make a lot of money
from that personal brand how do you make
money online I'm guessing that's a
question directed of me how do I make
money online I think I've made a few
videos about this but generally a lot of
these do come out through my main
channel which is my photography channel
so on there I'm going to be making money
through Adsense which is YouTube ads
through affiliate
kidding so mainly Amazon and and then
sponsorships so with you know brand deal
this which I do you through companies
like Squarespace or Skillshare or video
blocks and then you can also do I also
make money through courses and and
digital downloads would sure like
presets and things like that and then on
this channel I've also you know got
another adsense account which makes
money through this entrepreneur channel
and then I do it affiliates as well
through things like Shopify so there's
like lots of different kind of sources
of income coming in and but the main
thing is that it all starts with kind of
this YouTube this personal brand which
is kind of Chris winter on this channel
it's kind of the money mentor and yeah
it's kind of branches out through there
but there's I mean any kind of way of
making money I think you can pretty much
do it as long as you've got that kind of
hub which kind of drives the traffic to
it
