hey what's up guys my name is Chris
winter and in this video I'm gonna share
with you the best Shopify apps for
dropshipping for this year and guys if
you want to check out any of the apps
that I talked about in this video I'll
put links to all of them in the
description box below so you can easily
check them out and install them on your
own site but anyway let's get started
with the very first app alright so the
first app that I highly recommend for
dropshipping is called sailor's pop
master countdown now this is a newer
version of sails published it's been
around for a long time and if you don't
know what sails pop is we have a demo
here where you can actually see exactly
what it is so let's say you're a
customer and you come here and you're
looking at this puffer jacket so in the
bottom left here this sailor's pop I'll
just reloaded it so you can see will
come up and essentially what it's going
to be is social proof of someone else
buying something in your store so when
you're here you might be coming to this
website and people aren't really sure if
anyone's actually on this website buying
things you can actually see that this
person here there's their name where
they're from and what they just purchase
seconds however long you want it for but
you can see that again another one's
come in and you can see that you've got
the product the product image when they
purchased it and the other thing is that
yeah it also shows how many are left in
stock so you've got a bit of scarcity
here with this app as well so
essentially if you don't know what
scarcity is its meaning that a product
is not always going to be available so
people are going to be more inclined to
buy it so what I would recommend is not
having this many like kind of popups
coming up but you can see that it gives
you sense of a little bit of either
agency a little bit of scarcity but also
social proof that people are actually on
this website it's a really good thing to
have next up is called sticky cart this
is by uplink II and this is definitely
one of my favorites it's super basic and
they've got a free plan available for
this one but what it does is have your
Add to Cart button pretty much become
sticky so if I scroll down what you're
going to see is that the Add to Cart
button pops up here at the very bottom
of your page and this works well on
mobile as well you can even have it with
that little kind of movement so it kind
of catches the eye for me I'm not going
to recommend this because I think that
sometimes this can be a little bit too
tacky and it kind of a little bit pushy
but you can definitely see that it can
work as well because it does catch your
eye so again we'll scroll up here it's
gone away but what this is going to
allow people to do is quickly
add things to the cart without having to
scroll back up it just gets that their
their mind thinking maybe I will add
that to the cart and then you can
obviously click it and it's going to add
it to your cart next up is a fantastic
app and most people who are drop
shipping and a bit using this one if you
haven't got it it's called a layer of
use Aliexpress reviews it's going to be
importing Aliexpress reviews into your
drop shipping sauce so most people are
going to be drop shipping through
Aliexpress and essentially this is just
going to give your website which might
be brand new a whole lot of reviews
so obviously Aliexpress has a lot of
reviews because people actually buy from
Aliexpress themselves but your website
might not have any reviews yet so you
can see here we've got this shoe and
it's in a product demo so we actually
have this this five-star rating and
we've got 50 reviews and if I click on
this it's going to take you down and
show you all of these reviews and this
is one of the great things with the drop
drop shipping is that you already have
reviews from Aliexpress so you can see
that these are legitimate people who've
actually purchased these and even better
these have photos so photo proof is even
better than actual just written reviews
you can see that these are from
different countries you can have this
the star rating you can have their
actual review you can have what country
they're from and the flag and even some
of these have images of the actual
people themselves but this is really
good for social proof again if you need
a drop shipping and you're not exactly
sure social proof is really important
because when people come to your website
they're not going to be exactly sure
whether or not this is a legitimate
website whether or not people are buying
them whether or not people are gonna be
happy and if you know anything about
Amazon their biggest selling factories
they have so many reviews and that's
essentially what you're gonna be getting
on this website for your own drop
shipping store this one's a great one
another one that I really like is called
trusted site it's super basic but
essentially what this can allow you to
do is have this little trusted site logo
down here certified secure it's small
but it does make a big difference
again we're also going to have this logo
down here at the bottom so if we go
anywhere on our website you're gonna be
able to see that we have this trusted
site logo here we're gonna have secure
checkout with $100,000 identity
protection shop with confidence and it's
these little things that make a big
difference in terms of letting your
customer feel secure so
again super easy this one's just gonna
put it in what I like about this is that
it's quite clean and it's very neat so
some of the the kind of security and
trust badges that you will see on
Shopify are not good I'm gonna show you
another one later on but you'll kind of
see that this here is really neat it
just fits in well with most websites and
it's just a good thing you know it
doesn't hurt to have and it's really
nice to have on all of your websites
next one is definitely one of my
favorites I talked about this one quite
a lot and I have for the last few years
because this one really really works
over the last you know five or so years
that I've been using Shopify this one's
probably being one of my favorite apps
and essentially what it is is called a
free shipping bar so funnily enough we
are actually coming up to Halloween so
they've got a Halloween theme here but
don't worry about that you can obviously
change the color and the look and
everything the font so this one here
offers free shipping for all orders over
$100 and what's this going to do well
it's going to encourage people to spend
more money on your shop so you make more
money so let's say that we want to buy a
t-shirt we're going to buy a few
t-shirts okay so we're going to go to
this cycling tee and we're going to add
that to the cup watch what happens if
you look at the top here now it says
only $80 away from free shipping so
let's add another one let's see what
happens it's added to the cart and now
we're only $60 away from free shipping
obviously this would be better if it was
a little bit closer so you don't have to
buy five t-shirts every time to get free
shipping but this really does work well
so just for example say let's go to the
cart here and we're going to change this
to five and then we're going to update
the cart and watch what happens
congratulations you've got free shipping
that is awesome and it's really a big
motivating factor for people because
people hate free shipping sorry they
love free shipping they hate shipping
fees so if someone's going to say be
spending twenty five dollars at your
store but they get free shipping for $30
but shipping costs $10 or they're
obviously going to buy an extra product
and what you can do is you know have
that extra product the kind of upsell to
them for an extra you know ten or 50
dollars that just gets them over that
line but you end up making a decent
amount of money I really like this one
again it doesn't even have to be for
shipping only you know it could be you
know spend an extra $20 and you get 10%
off you know it could be anything it
could be you know spend $50 and you get
a free gift and it might be something
that you can offer super cheap I love
this app get this one I'll put a link in
the description if I don't check it out
another app that I love is called looks
super popular nearly 3000 reviews and
really good ratings so looks is kind of
similar to that Aliexpress reviews at
that I showed you before but it's got a
really strong kind of photo and image
kind of design so as you can see right
here it's a review app of course but
what it allows you to do is have these
images come up with the reviews and like
I said before reviews are so important
for dropshipping if you don't have a
reviews on your website good luck
selling because most people won't really
want to buy anything if they don't know
other people have done it again it's a
reviews app so you can have your name
here you've got a verified purchase kind
of tick here you've got the date all of
this stuff can be obviously added in or
taken out quite easy you can see that it
would got the description here but more
importantly we've got the photos and if
I click here you can actually see that
we get a larger image and we also have a
product link which is nice as well you
can also apply it with your own store
text as well but you know looks is
really good this one is a paid plugin
but it's ok 9 dollars 99 and month it's
probably worth it but you can really see
that you know I'm going to be coming
here to a you know a product let's take
a quick look here you can actually see
that okay these are the shoes what are
people thinking okay we've got 11
reviews 5 star and we have all of these
you know photos of the actual product
that people are getting this is a
fantastic app looks is awesome
link in the description next up is we
leo and it is a fantastic app there are
a few others who do this one but I've
found that we leo works really quite
well so what is really oh let's take a
quick look so essentially what we leo is
is you can see on this store we get this
awesome spin wheel kind of
effect that comes onto your website and
it's going to encourage people to put
their email address in so you can
contact them later on we all know how
important it is to build up your email
list this is probably the best way that
I've found because it's quite fun for
people everyone wins you get an email
address they get the chance to win
things so you can see here that it pops
out you can have it auto pop out or you
can have it with this little button here
I actually don't mind the order I pop
out you don't want to have it up all the
time so you can actually set it so it
comes up every you know one time for
every three times I visit your website
for example you can have a bit of
description here so to get into this all
the person needs to do is put their
email address in and let's just do that
you can agree to the terms and policy
for the for that and then you go try
your luck and you can actually see that
they've got right here
seventy percent of offers claimed hurry
up so people are gonna be like well yeah
I will really want to get in why not do
this so you can see what's gonna happen
when I click this try your luck it's
gonna get their email address so you're
gonna be winning and then it's gonna
spin the wheel like you're at a fair or
a show or something like that and oh I
just won 20 percent how cool is that so
to get this they're going to get a
discount code now so they can continue
and use it that's already copied to
their clipboard so the great thing about
this app and the reason why I really
like it is that a it gets people's email
address in a non-intrusive way so you're
not just getting like a rent and pop-up
which is like sign up for our email
newsletter the people don't do that
these days but be it also gets people
more encouraged to buy because you know
20% you can might be able to find that
20% margin somewhere but what it is is
you know if I was to come to your
website I might not be in debt I might
not buy but with the 20% discount yeah I
probably will and I also feel like you
know I won that there was a chance that
I was gonna get nothing there was a
chance I was gonna get 50% but 20% is
pretty good as well so really is a good
one as well next one is called trust
hero and I talked about this one just
before trust hero is kind of similar to
the trusted site one that I showed you
so if I show you just quickly on the
example store here you'll see that
you've got things like here so check out
securely with MasterCard pay up
pay and visa it just quickly and simply
adds this kind of secure checkout kind
of thing on your website yeah this one's
not as good as the other one but if you
want like I think pretty sure this is a
free version right here yeah it's a free
app so the other one might cost a little
bit so if you want to stay kind of basic
trust hero badge this is a good one
next up is an app that I would highly
recommend now this one is paid but it's
definitely worth it if you want to make
more money on your drop shipping sites
so $6 99 you can easily get this back in
one purchase so this is called
frequently bought together and you'll
probably know what this is like because
this is exactly what Amazon do so let's
say we're going here and we're buying a
bike okay it's on sale cool let's buy it
but wait up a second I might want to buy
this crank set and this lock so this
frequently bought together app puts this
in you can choose what you want it to
have or it will automatically generate
essentially what it's gonna be like is
well I do need that extra thing and I do
need that lock well at least I do need
the lock so what you can even do is
click out that and you can see that it's
going to show you a super easy way of
buying these together so if I am here I
could just buy this or I could easily
add these selected to the cart and what
it's really going to do is get those
kind of upsells
that's essentially what it is it's an
upsell app but really does nice bundles
and I really like it and lastly we've
got ultimate sales boost which is a
fantastic app at one that I really like
and the reason why I like this is
because it's got a free plan available
so for pretty much all of the apps that
I've talked about a lot of them have
been paid so if you're kind of on a
shoestring budget and you want to save a
little bit of money ultimate sales boost
will do a lot of the things that we
talked about so it's got nearly five
thousand reviews 4.8 stars most people
will be getting this app essentially
they've got so many different things so
let's take a quick look at some of the
things that they do on this collection
page you can see that we now have these
little kind of pop outs that you can see
a new arrival best price on sale and
that really grabs your eyes so let's say
that you've got you know four products
here but you really want to promote one
one's gonna be on sale or once in Europe
you arrival these really do pop out and
they're super easy to doing because you
don't need to code them on the home page
you can see here
that we have a number of different
things they can add to the sales page so
they've got so many things you can see
free shipping you know order it within
this price you can change the at it Add
to Cart button in the Buy It Now button
deal of the day but we'll take a look at
them individually if we go back here you
can see let's take a quick look so the
first one is this buy two bags of ground
coffee and get a mug at 50% off so again
it's like the app that we're talking
about before if someone was to buy you
know two of these they're gonna get a
mug at 50% off it's a great way to get
an upsell another one is trust badges
like I said before we were paying for
those other ones before but you can get
these in the same app with this one app
so you can see it's secure and trusted
check out Visa MasterCard American
Express PayPal Shopify and you can also
have these cool little badges which
again you don't have to design yourself
it's all done in this app let's have a
look at this one we've got a free
shipping message so we've got free
shipping for orders over $50 similar to
that other kind of top bar that we had
that was free shipping the difference
with this one is that it doesn't
generate an automatic change whenever
someone adds it to the cart but it's not
bad if you just want to have that
quickly on all of your product pages and
the great thing about this again is that
you don't actually have to put this in
your description of everything it's
automatically going to be inserted so
that's good next one is to get it by
timer this one here is on the product
page and you can see order within four
hours 29 minutes and 52 seconds to get
it by October 9th what's cool about this
one is that it is a kind of countdown
timer and it automatically changes to
whenever you want it to be so what I
like about this one is that if someone
wants to get this is a rush order so
that they want to get this for Christmas
or they want to get it for someone's
birthday you can have this so they know
that they need to order this within 30
minutes to get this product by that
certain date so you can change all these
things and of course you can change the
color and the little picture here and
the date and things like that so this
one's really good for scarcity because
it's really going to allow people or
urgency sorry I guess it's more didn't
see
so people will buy it and not put it off
you can have another countdown timer
here this one's a little bit larger
don't mind this one but I kind of feel
like the other one was a little bit
better but you can see that it's got say
land in this and you can kind of change
the colors low inventory warning again
this is gonna be going on that scarcity
I liked this little animation as you saw
that went all the way from the right to
the left here you can see that there's
only 24 left now if there's 24 left
that's not going to really get me that
motivated to buy it but if there's only
2 left and you want to make sure that
there actually aren't really two laughs
you don't to be an idiot and you know
have scarcity and everything because it
just doesn't work but if there are only
two t-shirts left well I might want to
buy it before they go out of stock
another one is a trust badges that we
saw already then you can also have it on
the cart page so this is where it's
really going to work so if we add this
to the cart you can see that this again
is going to be really hammering home
that if they buy one more bag of this
ground coffee you get a mug at 50% off
so it's a great reason to buy an extra
kind of bag of coffee because you get a
free mug so there we go so add that add
it to the cart and you can see that'll
just work look at that it worked
simple as that eight dollars they get
the coffee mug at Half Price
all set that's a really good one I
really like these kind of upsell apps
and yeah this app here I'll put a link
