with another video and today we're going
ice EE condenser microphone now this is
probably the best USB microphone you can
get for the price especially starting
out as a beginner you can pick this baby
up for less than $50 on Amazon I'll
leave a link to it in the description
below as well as some other things I may
have forgotten to mention in this video
now this is the smaller more affordable
blue snowball microphone and in just a
second i'ma switch over to the blue
snowball microphone so that you can
actually hear the type of audio quality
that this might get capable of capturing

alright so now I'm actually using the
blue snowball microphone and as you can
see right off the bat this microphone is
an enormous step up from an on-board
microphone that you would have in your
computer or under webcam and I do have
to admit that the build quality of this
device is surprisingly very nice very
sturdy definitely well built honestly
could probably kill someone with this
thing if you throw hard enough but you
know obviously you don't want to do that
without being said though it is it does
have a nice weight to it it's not too
heavy not too light and you can get this
microphone in at least two different
colors black or white and it's very easy
to operate you can simply plug this
device into your computer using the USB
cable that's provided and then begin
recording audio within seconds so
there's actually no power buttons on
this model and actually there's no
buttons at all on this edition of the
blue snowball which obviously has its
pros and cons to it the great thing
about not having any buttons is that
it's very straight forward and you can
easily record high-quality audio with
just the touch of a button
I've used this microphone hundreds of
times whether it be for voiceovers or
Skype calls or podcasts or maybe even
recording music the blue snowball is
definitely the best USB mic for your
money now when I do product reviews I
always try to make sure that I include
some downsides of the product and to be
honest there aren't a whole lot of
negatives about this mic but the one
thing that I find to be sort of a hassle
is that you need to be very close to
this mic in order for the sound quality
to have that nice crisp
deep-sounding audio for example right
now my mouth is probably about six or
seven inches away from the microphone
and in just a second I'm going to move
back to about 18 inches away and so you
can see the difference in the audio
quality all right so now about 18 inches
away from the microphone and so now I'm
closer now but you can see that you do
have to be very close to microphone and
that is with many microphones but
sometimes it might have something like a
shotgun mic where you can be you know a
few feet away and still get that nice
quality so just be aware that you will
have to be pretty close to this
microphone in order to get good audio so
that's about it for this video thanks so
