hey miles Beckler here and in this video
i wanted to share with you a tip that I
got from Dan Norris at one of the kind
of breakout sessions here at DC bkk in
Bangkok
now really he said something that just
kind of reiterate it and I've probably
stated it in a different way in a
previous video but it's important enough
for me to kind of state it again and
that is that you need to create more
than you consume you know when you're
trying to build your business online
it's very easy to get in the habit of
consuming more materials listening to
more podcasts buying more ebooks going
through more trainings and getting on
more people's lists to try to get more
ideas about what's gonna work you know
it's the thought of if I can learn
enough I'll figure out exactly what to
do that it will work and then I just
need to go do that but the fact of the
matter is that you need to get creating
and that's the only way you're ever
gonna ultimately build your business and
create kind of a lifestyle business
online it's through creation now I'm not
saying that you want to ignore doing the
research and reading but you just want
to make sure that you create more than
you consume so every day if you're
currently reading for a couple of hours
a day make sure you're creating your
writing blog posts you're making videos
you're making podcasts you're you're
doing something positive you're creating
new website you're learning how to
install WordPress make sure you're
taking those action steps towards
creation because that's ultimately
what's gonna grow your business and you
know Gary Vee uses kind of a different
analogy of the clouds and the dirt and
yeah we need to spend some time in the
clouds so we can kind of get an overview
an idea of what we're working on but
ultimately it's time in the dirt it's
actually building things is how you
create your business online so just take
it kind of a self-reflective moment
right here and just think to yourself
and answer this question you know are
you creating more than you're consuming
or are you consuming more than you're
creating if you're creating more than
you're consuming great I hope these
videos can help you become more kind of
effective in what you're creating if
you're not yet creating more than you're
consuming go ahead and just get started
now even if you're just writing a blog
post on a wordpress comfrey website or
posting it to medium just get star
start flexing that creation muscle it
gets easier it actually gets fun I look
forward to creating these videos for you
and just two months ago I had never even
created a video it felt a little awkward
at first my videos I feel are getting a
little bit better I'm getting more
concise but ultimately it's been the
fact that I've been creating and
creating and creating that I'm not only
strengthening that muscle making it
easier on myself but I'm getting
traction I'm getting subscribers I'm
getting views I'm getting it to connect
with you and that's ultimately what this
is about
because I want to share my knowledge
with you and really it's so important so
take some time and make sure you are
creating every day and be sure to create
more than you consume every day and I
guarantee you that's the path to success
with your online business all right
