we're live I got the confirmation so let
me just check over and make sure that we
see you guys here um before we jump in
make sure that I've got it on the right
URL at this point in time because last
time I think I set up two separate URLs
for it so what we're gonna do today is
I'm gonna share a little bit about
what's working for me in this new funnel
I've been working on been really putting
a lot of effort towards reorganizing and
restructuring my front-end offering to
offer me a little bit better budget on
the front end so I can scale my facebook
pay-per-click campaigns more I showed in
some past videos from maybe about a
month ago this point maybe two months
ago my funnel was about break-even with
a forty blue as a $46 kind of average
order value which was great I'm now
working on a new funnel that's getting
me upwards of about a $70 um kind of
front-end value my lifetime value is
still very very similar but what this
new front-end offer in the new front-end
is kind of I'm working on getting that
new front-end offer to do for me is to
allow me to scale into larger and
broader audiences on Facebook that
aren't as hyper relevant as the ones so
they're not the low-hanging fruit right
so I need to kind of go approach that
new challenge with more of a budget so I
can withstand the ups and downs of
entering new segments of a market and
since I've kind of began this I have
tested three separate price points I've
tested two separate video sales letters
I haven't tested anything on the
one-click upsell that's been a complete
standard but that is a new video also
compared to the old funnel and I'm
testing a ton of different audiences I
think at this point I've tested to the
tune of 80 to 90 separate interests and
now I'm testing the idea of grouping
them together in bigger ad sets on the
conversion to give more data for that
the Facebook machine learning versus
running them all in that five dollar ad
set structure and the
results are really interesting is still
preliminary I have a lot more data on
the five-dollar kind of setup but the
the five dollar ad campaigns that I've
been putting some videos out about in
the last couple of weeks but grouping
them all together is that's I think six
days five days old generally it takes a
week to really get good data and the
data looks really good from the get-go
and what I'm kind of hoping here is that
I end up with two separate kind of
styles of campaigns that I'm able to run
in parallel because they are focused on
different audiences and I'm happy to run
both of them if they're both in the
kpi's and so that's just kind of where
I'm at what I'm working on I woke up
this morning my KPIs my numbers look
good and I figured no need to fiddle
with things I don't want to over
optimize my campaigns it's kind of
dreary and dark outside and looks like
it's gonna rain so I'm not going to go
for a hike right now and I figured hey
let's do a live and see if I can help
you so I want to throw it out for
everybody who's hustling on a Saturday
this is what it takes my wife and I
still work most Saturdays and Sundays we
still work you know if you count my
reading time in my study time I work 60
70 hours a week plus but I love it I do
what I love I'm sharing a message I love
I actually really love helping you with
your stuff so I'm gonna flip back over

that there's a delay last time I tried
this I accidentally set up two different
live stream URLs and it was kind of
messy so here's how I want to approach
this number one I'm happy to answer any
questions that you have off the hip
anything pay-per-click funnels
optimization etc audience stuff I'm cool
to answer general questions but if you
have been building out your sales funnel
and you want me to take a look at your
actual opt-in page or if you want me to
take a look at your sales page go ahead
and I want you to put the link of the
actual opt-in page I'm not really
wanting to look at your home page or
blog I'll do that but I really want to
focus you know the the opt-in page in
the sales page that's that like one pay
it's the the little hinge that swings a
big door right because like when you get
your opt-in page working you can bring
in organic traffic you can bring in paid
traffic from Twitter
and Pinterest and Facebook and YouTube
and Google you can get traffic from
other people's email lists etc etc and
that one page really is kind of one of
those hinges that is you know kind of
opens you up to the success because your
email list is ultimately a very very
strong asset for you and your business
it's a lifetime asset and more so than
the list is the relationship with the
list and how do you build a relationship
with that list it's by giving value so
it's the act of giving value to an email
list that grows a profitable business
that is an asset for you and of course
you have to have a list in order to give
value to that list and that's why I
think that opt-in page is kind of one of
those keys or if you got a sales page
I'll take a look at it I don't have time
to look at your or read all the sales
copy or read the kind of go through the
sales video right here live but I'm
happy to give you my first kind of take
on it and let me just pass you a grain
of salt right like I'm coming from my
experience with I started making money
online in 2003
I've been full time with this since 2010
so I have a lot of experience with that
said every niche is different and
there's probably 13 different ways to
accomplish the exact same goal I have
learned one thing that works for me
maybe a few things that work for me and
I'm just kind of doubling down and doing
more of what works for me so as I offer
you advice take what resonates if I say
something that totally conflicts with
you you're like I don't know about that
that's cool leave that but just take
what resonates with you and leave what
doesn't and really just take action
continue to take action I saw one of the
comments are not one a lot of the
comments from the survey I sent out is a
lot of people are hesitating to take
action and it's so powerful to take
version zero point zero point zero point
one before you can put out version 2.0
right and there's a lot of iterations in
between that so your landing page is the
exact same way my first landing pages
were very ugly they didn't work now I
have a very scientifically proven
statistically proven sales page or via
sales page and my opt-in page that works
really well and it's not like I waited
and studied and and perfected it and
then launched it I launched a very
imperfect one tested it had a new idea
tested that got a little better results
had a new idea
tested that for better results down up

up up up right and that's that's the
path that we're on so I'm happy to help

what about up work and other solutions

everybody I'm get lots of what's up so
cool right on Andrew Harrison up works
great I use up work it's it's a little
bit expensive getting started but if you
hire people full time you can get into
that ten percent range it's a closed
system so you're going to be paying more
for the same services sometimes if you
want a writer up works a great
opportunity but you could also look at
like your local colleges there's you
know through Craigslist in your local
market you might be able to find an
intern you might be able to find
somebody who doesn't have enough
business in your local market you might
be able to keep those funds in your
local community which has obvious
benefits but I love up work I've done a
lot of business with them I'm kind of
moving away from in physics pensive but
um so James took 12 hours and went
having all my videos awesome scaling up
Facebook Ads cool I'm glad to hear you
taking action that's what it's all about
I love hearing people watching but I
love seeing it's weird to say this but I
love seeing people disappear from the
videos for a week or two and then to pop
back in the columns be like oh I
actually took action and I got things up
and this is happening because it is
about taking action so smart V and I
apologize the way YouTube's I click down
it automatically loads it jumps me
around so I might have to keep going
back and forth which I apologize for so
smart V smart vibes how much different
is Facebook marketing for a local
business versus a national audience
you'd love some tutorials for local
businesses you know it's it's
theoretically the same exact thing and
ultimately you need to get in the mind
of your prospect because
there's a few key questions in a local
business are you a local business
selling to locals right or are you a
local business in a tourist area selling
to people who are visiting Facebook
gives you some geo-targeting that's
really cool that allows you to focus on
people who live here all people who are
here or people who are not from here but
are here right so if you're in a tourist
area you could literally say like lake
tahoe somewhere I used to live that had
a big tear big tourist influx from San
Francisco you could set up a campaign to
target people who are from the San
Francisco Bay Area who happened to be in
the Lake Tahoe area and you could show
them your one day only special on
massages if you're a massage person you
know I don't do any Facebook marketing
for local business the theory is still
the same you have to do lots of testing
you have to find that compelling thing
that gets your audience to take action
but an important part is if you have a
local service that is generally trended
towards a user search when they find you
so an example of this is a plumber right
like if you come home from dinner out
with friends and you notice your toilet
is leaking you're not going to go on
Facebook and scroll through your
Facebook Timeline and hope you see a
plumbers advertisement you're gonna
instantly go to the big G right we all
go to google.com and we type in holy cow
my toilet is exploding I needs help
tonight 24 hour plumber my town right so
you have to make sure I think the first
place I go with local businesses is
always the local search engine results
Google has what's called a big three map
pack and there is a Google my business
people often refer to it as gmv it's a
Google my business account and you said
about Google my business account you
make sure your address is on the footer
of your website and essentially you
optimize your your website for your
local area that way when someone is in
your area based on their IP address and
they search plumber in Ashland Oregon
you pop up because you've optimized your
Google my business page so personally I
would start there but it really does
depend on the it really does depend on
the type of business that you have and
your area so what do I think of
clickfunnels I think
95% of people bread French thank you for
95% of people it's overpriced there's
they're paying 40% out to affiliates
they have a lot of bugs they're bringing
in people at an extremely fast rate
their support times are going down the
less they're much less willing to help
with little things when you can't get
things to work you get these kind of
short past the Bucks style um responses
like oh just go clear your cookies and
like I already clear my cookies I tested
it on four browsers like and then you
reply back and then a day later you get
another kind of short response and to me
that's it's locking you into a closed
system and I totally prefer to be in a
situation to where when something's not
working right I can go to one of the
people I've worked with or I can go to
up work and hire a specialist who knows
PHP WordPress and CSS like the back of
their hand and I can get them to do
absolutely anything I mean anything 100%
customizable on WordPress so who is
clickfunnels for you know in my mind
like let's say there's a lawyer who
makes two hundred thirty thousand
dollars per year doing legal services
they build 2,000 to 2,500 hours per year
they're incredibly busy but somehow they
have a course they've built on how to
get into law school that they're gonna
sell to law school students right that
person who has a lot more money than
they do time clickfunnels could be an
option for them because literally to go
spend three or four hours to set up a
funnel on WordPress would literally be
keeping them from I don't know what a
billable rate would be at that maybe
five hundred bucks an hour um so in that
kind of a situation high paid
professionals who have the content have
the course and they just needed to go
but even in that situation I would
probably recommend they look at kajabi
as an option over clickfunnels because
the members area is more robust so I
used to love clickfunnels until I had
some serious problems that they ignored
and told me where my fault till I found
out lots of others replicating them till
I find out that people on stripe
subscriptions who cancelled their
payment subscriptions we're still
getting access to my content which is
clearly a bug in their system that they
never wanted to fix so unstable fitness
if you're not embarrassed by version 1.0
you waited too long absolutely that is
the guy who started
and I think if you're not embarrassed by
the first version you ship you waited

forward so another way of putting this
is like like to have really big rental
owners are able to blank with blank and

are able to save management fees and
increased tenant life stay yeah I don't
know enough about your business to have
that but what is the benefit that I am
going to receive so I think you're
talking to people who landlords right so
what's the biggest landlord problem so

biggest fear right so learn how to
extend tenant times or get better
tenants without losing money or without

need to build the relationship before

that I've used from time to time perfect
so now we're getting here so elegant

a deal analysis right so like for
someone who buys property analyzing
deals is the step before writing an
offer on a deal so someone who analyzes
250 deals per month will write more

they can analyze more deals so they can
do more deals so they can build their
portfolio faster you need to communicate
that way up here really really big right
because so you're already talking to
seasoned people who know like analyze
more deals find more find more

it is the answer to that so that that's
kind of the angle I would go on this I
think that's going to be kind of a
really kind of a positive direction so
Dima I'm using the facebook lead form
and lead generation instead of an opt-in
page was this bad move I have used the
lead page the lead forms before it can
be great if you're getting low-cost
opt-ins and you've proven that your
email solution is if you've proven that
you're um let me come back here so we're
not just staring at the chat thank you
welcome back so if you have proven that
your lead form converts and get you a
good cost lead that's a great move right
especially if you know that your follow
up sequence turns a high percentage of
subscribers into paid customers if you
know that for every subscriber on your
list you're earning 75 cents per month
on average and you're getting leads from
this lead tool system at 48 cents on
average you can estimate that you're
going to be making your money back on
that click spend after about two and a
half weeks if you don't know those
numbers then you're kind of playing a
little bit of roulette which we have to
do sometimes you're investing in data
you're running people through your list
so you can see what your list converts
at and how much you make from your list
the reason I've stopped doing these
kinds of ads personally is because they
don't immediately go directly to my
one-time offer which is I show my
one-time offer after they opt-in on my
opt-in page and then they see the offer
to purchase one of my products and what
that does is it shortens the time period
from me spending on a click to me
earning from a new customer down to
about eight minutes so I put an
investment in a click and within 8
minutes I can receive money back the way
you have it set up they have to opt-in
then they have to read your first email
where you give them that thing then they
read your second email then they read
your third you might offer them
something to buy on the fourth email but
they might not buy until email nine
right and how long it's at least nine
ten days right so are you in a position
to wait and be patient to get your money
back it's a great method and it all I
mean it's worth worthy of testing
different business models are going to
work differently in that sense I like to
get my return on investment back as
quickly as I can because then I take
that money I just earned and I dumped it
right back into more Facebook ads and
that's how I'm scaling my campaigns
if I have to wait 15 to 30 days to get
my money back I'm okay with that but I
can't increase my budget as fast because
I there's always this like 30-day wait
to gonna put my money back in if I can
make an 8 minute thing I can increase my
budget by one two three four hundred
dollars a day right I would obviously
ease into that I'm not recommending you
do that but it just for kind of like if
I put in five hundred and I get out six
hundred that same day I literally could
potentially put in like six hundred and
then get out eight and I could put in
eight and get out twelve and that's
happening every day and I'm growing and
scaling in that sense it's more
difficult I really kind of made that
sound simpler than it is but the theory
that I just use there is very sound so
mobile is working fine great to hear
Chris board you looking to use a video
campaign I disappeared Chris Porsche I'm

so Chris boards you looking to use a
video campaign for a local business that
doesn't have a website what do I set the
bid at is it okay to use a Facebook page
as the landing page first man
so like I'm say no right technically
speaking you can do that but you if this
is for a client you have to really step
up as their trusted advisor and if
you're only sending people from Facebook
to a Facebook fan page there is so much
distraction in facebook they got the
little red bubbles they got the
messenger things going up they got the
little sidebar of things that are going
on in facebook like Facebook is an ad D
paradise it is so distracting it's
insane
you really need to get them off and get
them onto another system and the other
reason you need to be able to do that is
the pixels you need to have that pixel
data on the website so you could run
conversion based campaigns which allow
you to use Facebook's machine learning
system and their algorithm to your
advantage you also need to be able to
track the effectiveness of that campaign
see what people do and you're building a
retargeting audience that you can market
to later you're also building
potentially a look-alike audience of
people you can market to later there's
so many benefits to running it through
their own website so sell them a website
right go through the process of
literally Bill
them out the website based on the videos
I put together on the DIY sales funnel
build them a simple WordPress site if
you don't have any experience let them
know you'll do you'll give it a great
deal on it you'll do it for three five
seven hundred dollars whatever it is if
you've got some skills thousand fifteen
hundred dollars sale but they really if
they're gonna be investing money the
odds of them getting an ROI from keeping
that person in the Facebook ecosystem
are very slim
compared to if you remove them from that
ecosystem and you get them onto an
ecosystem that you control because when
you control it you control the
environment you can limit the
distractions you can play with the words
and you can really get that users
focused attention and the likelihood of
getting that user to take the action
that you and they ultimately want goes
up insurmountably and i would honestly
say that if they put a thousand dollars
in pay per click to a video campaign
that just kind of goes to their their
fan page that money is just going to
disappear with no clients if they put
five hundred dollars into a website and
then they put five hundred dollars into
ads on that they're gonna have an asset
that website is an asset for them that
could live for life of that business and
the likelihood of converting people off
of that is going to go up to where every
dollar they spend on facebook is going
to go up a lot so I think it's really
really important to take they gotta have
a website I mean like is it's 2017 right
like we can't just have Facebook pages
if we're serious business um how can
also did Derek Dodds Derek dogs in the
house look dude you're not surfing
what's that about oh it's a weekend all
the wakers are out on the waves and
you're hanging out good to see you Derek
be coming through your neck of the woods
once or twice um early next month so I

people there just in case one gets sick
or one loses power my development guy my
design guy my last design guy was from
there anything that like code languages

passing overseas anything that requires
good English I don't I don't pass that
overseas I tried to bring on a
pay-per-click assistant from overseas it
didn't work I tried to bring on writers
who were really good English writers but
there there's still that it's just not
English as my readers need to read but
yeah I really like that um Thomas how do
I add more than two add accounts to my
Facebook Ads manager great questions so
go into business dot facebook.com and
once you have your business stopped
facebook.com account setup go create all
of the different add accounts that you
can do not put your credit card
information in because if they ban one
of your accounts they ban every other
account that has that credit card so you
simply set up the account and then you
leave it empty with credit card in it
that's the first thing it prompts you
right there like alright cool let's get
you set up putting your credit card
leave and you'll notice in your drop
down on business off facebook.com/ that
you have those add accounts now so if
something happens to one of them you can
go start up your next one put the same
credit card number in after something
happens with one of them or run two of
them in parallel with two separate

hooked there's no other option for me at
that point because when I have that it
elicits an emotional response when I see
it on video so that's what I would
really want this section to be on the
home page it would be the ultimate guy

full-on in winter everything's cranked

back and get back on video cut through
some of these so I want to find a faster
way to do that I wonder if there's a
shortcut so I got next what can I tell
you about Facebook marketing for b2b e
versus b2c are the percentages on
average about the same John it varies so
much on every niche and on every product
for the right b2c product you can see
better than b2b and for the right b2b
product you can see better than b2c
results the most important thing to keep
in mind is that it's an interruption
based marketing platform which means I
don't think that I'm going to be looking
at your stuff right I'm just trying to
look at what the grandkids are doing and
what mom's doing what my friends are
doing whatever is doing and you
interrupt that experience so you have to
figure a way to get into my conversation
with what's going on in my head and
generally like interesting videos kind
of thought-provoking type content can
draw me in and then the targeting works
you know ultimately Facebook is a bunch
of humans and even if you're doing b2b
sales you're still selling to other
humans right you might be selling to the
chief marketing officer the the CIO you
might be selling to a middle level
manager or a customer support department
manager like I don't know who that
person is you can easily and definitely
target them but you gotta remember like
are they going to be on Facebook at the
time they're thinking about your
business stuff are they really going to
want to cross that bridge and it really
depends on what you're offering if
you're going after entrepreneurs we
don't turn off I do not turn off I read
about entrepreneurship about politics
economics and it's all around where is
my business going where is the the taxes
in the market know this and everything
going I'm always on in many senses even
when I'm on Facebook I find SEO articles
I find you know things that pop up and I
follow those rabbit holes down and
that's how I learned so it's very
possible to do but again it's just who's
that target market where are they at in
their mindset what are they actually
interested in and how do you hook them
in a way to pull them down the rabbit
hole and to get them down but I mean you
know a lot of the biggest kind of people
I know are selling b2b they're selling
to solopreneurs they're selling to in
not entrepreneurs and they're doing it
through Facebook very very successfully
um reach out to Facebook and o'james
Canty so reach out to Facebook and
you'll go from five to eight hundred so
I'm guessing James that you have the
business account running and the
business up facebook.com and that's cool
to hear that you can reach out and get
them up to eight hundred just say you
want to set up new accounts for your
clients and then the cool thing about
business on facebook is growing client
stuff you can kind of like run
everything and every client has their
own ad account that ties to each
client's credit card so you don't deal
with billing of the ad spend in any way
shape or form they get billed their ad
spend it hits or credit card
automatically all you got to do is build
them for the management it's actually
really kind of a cool setup here so I'd

want to build the personal brand side
