hey miles Beckler here and I'm coming to
you from Corona beach on Phuket in
Thailand and in yesterday's video we
talked about the importance of getting
out and enjoying yourself from time to
into kind of an entrepreneur workaholic
because that is a challenge that you
face in this video it might tell me I'm
saying the exact opposite and in many
ways I am but this one's really
specifically focused to digital nomads
and anyone who's also if you're someone
who travels and you work as you travel
and you've been without a home base for
a while as I have for about four years
so this video is all about yo hey
digital nomad remember you got to do the
work so if you can see behind me I'm got
a beautiful view here the oceans right
behind me it's like a 10 minute walk the
Sun is currently setting and everyone
around me here is a total tourist except
for the locals who cater to that kind of
community but everyone's on vacation so
there's this kind of like vacation vibe
all around people are having beer at
noon and they're having drinks and
there's bars everywhere and there's late
night life and it's really easy as a
digital Nomad to forget that first and
foremost it's all about building a
successful business online so if you've
been traveling for a while you need to
come up with routines and ways for you
to be able to kind of assure that you
get what has to get done done so you can
go out and enjoy yourself because
honestly this lifestyle comes to a
halting stop the moment you run out of
money or cash flow we're all playing a
cashflow game so you got to keep that
cash flow moving forward so it could be
something that's as simple as having a
few kind of items of clothing that are
your like work clothes right like it
could even be t-shirts I mean you don't
bring like colored shirts and ties by
any means but you literally could have a
few t-shirts that when you're wearing
these shirts you're in work mode and
it's a mental kind of physiological
reminder that it's work time another
option set your alarm if you need a
morning routine idea go look through the
past videos for the morning routine that
I do I highly recommend the power of a
morning routine I find that when I've
got my morning routine working
wonderfully I can get a whole day's work
done by about one o'clock two o'clock in
the afternoon and
allows me to really enjoy where I'm at
enjoy the local food and get a good
night's sleep because my morning routine
starts at about six-thirty in the
morning so I don't stay up very late I'm
not a night owl I'm not a nighttime
party or at all but whatever you do
you've got to figure out a way and keep
the first thing first right keep your
whether you're doing client work your
client work is the most important thing
that you're going to be working on if
you're building an information marketing
business you gotta keep focused on
growing your list and reselling new
products and new affiliate products to
that list if you're doing an affiliate
kind of game that's the same thing if
you're in the drop shipping world you
need to keep adding skus to your system
to the ebays if you're doing kind of the
David vu style drop shipping which we're
going to cover in detail in a future
video because he's here with me we're
gonna do an interview with him he's
crushing it anyways got a little
sidetracked there so the point of this
story honestly is you've got to take
care of business first and it's really
interesting when I grew up my mom like
literally I'm talking like elementary
school age right my mom was very adamant
like homework has to get done before you
go out and play so I habituated a very
early age that when i'm done with school
I go get my homework done and once
that's done I'm able to go play and I'm
able to go enjoy myself and I really
think it's important for you to get in
that kind of a groove if you will why
you're working and even if you're kind
of working from home get the stuff sorry
almost s bombed on your right there get
this stuff done that has to get done
first and then enjoy yourself get out
and about enjoy even if you're in your
local city kind of look back at that
last video but ultimately if you're a
digital nomad you got to keep that cash
flow machine going you never know when
that kind of system or whatever you're
using a working is going to change
you've got to have an emergency fund
built up if your paycheck to paycheck as
a digital nomad you really got to keep
your business going you got to take your
business to the next level because it's
got to be able to sustain you through
the ups and downs and that's why it's
important to keep the first thing first
and I know this firsthand I've been
living on the beaches of Costa Rica and
Mexico and Thailand and ultimately it's
it's really easy to kind of look around
why everybody's just enjoying and
partying and having a good time I feel
like doing that but your business may
suffer if you haven't fully automated
your business
which if you're watching this video I'm
confident that you haven't so really do
what you need to do to get your work
time in whether you're setting an alarm
waking up and you're setting to our work
blocks that you're working and then you
give yourself for to our work blocks a
day with a lunch and a break in between
each of them that'll get you through and
if you start that at seven o'clock in
the morning you're going to be done by
nine eleven twelve to thirty three
o'clock in the afternoon and you'll be
healthy you'll your business will grow
and you'll be excited to kind of explore
where you're at so it sounds like I kind
of said the exact opposite of what I did
yesterday I kind of did because
ultimately your business and the cash
flow you generate from your business is
what sustains the lifestyle so make sure
that remains in the number one position
and get that done first and then enjoy
