hey this is Stefan James from project
life mastery comm today I'm going to
share with you how to be confident in an
instant how to change your emotional
state to a state of unstoppable
confidence and how to condition that
state so that it becomes a part of who
you are becomes your emotional home and
your default way of being so in order to
do this I'm going to demonstrate it for
you but I also need your participation I
want you to have the experience and the
reference so that you can realize the
power that you have within yourself that
you are in control of your confidence
and your emotional States and that you
can access this state anytime that you
want I don't care if you're shy for
quiet like I was when I was younger if
you want to approach a man or a woman if
you want to build and start a business
confidence is what you need and it's
something that you have the power to
access and bring out within yourself so
here's what we're gonna do if you're
sitting or standing right now if you're
sitting I'd love for you to stand up ok
shake out your body okay taking it a big
deep breath in and exhale good and I
want you to stand or sit the way you sit
okay I need your participation with this
but sit or stand the way you would if
you were confident okay if you were
confident maybe there's been a time in
your life when you felt confident at
school at work when you're young as an
adult and something you're skilled at I
don't care what it is but I want you to
either remember a time when you were
confident or act as if you're confident
right now that if you wanted to be
confident
how would you stand how would you sit
right now I want you to make changes
right now in your body or physiology if
you were confident if you were confident
how would you stand or sit do that right
now where would your shoulders be would
they be up and back if so put them up
and back how would you move would there
be a certain gesture a certain movement
that you'd have or would you be more
stagnant will you be grounded planted
with your feet deep rooted in the earth
like the earth is supporting who you are
right how would you breathe if you're a
confident do that right now how would
you breathe it would it be full or would
it be more shallow but breathe
you'd breathe right now if you're
totally confident if you felt
unstoppable okay I want you to even
exaggerate it if you need to that if
your idea of reference of confidence is
here I want you to take yourself even
beyond that right now by making these
changes right now it's your body okay
we're gonna do this as an experiment you
can be the judge afterwards so breathe
the way you'd breathe put your shoulders
put your chest back where would your
head be if you're totally confident what
kind of look would you have in your eyes
put that look in your eyes right now if
you knew that whatever you're gonna set
your mind to you're gonna make happen
you're going to achieve it that you're
gonna be an amazing success in your life
what kind of look would you have what
kind of expression would you have in
your face maybe you'd have a little
smirk like yeah like you know that
you're gonna own it you know that you're
gonna own this day right put that look
put that expression on your face right
now maybe it's a big smile
great what would you do with your hands
if you're confident would you be taking
up more space like you know you own the
room you own the environment this is
your house right try that right now try
take it up more space with your body
good how would you speak how would you
communicate if you were confident would
you have more power with your voice
would you project your voice a lot
louder not being afraid to take up space
and own the room try that right now
what's something that you would say if
you were confident what's something you
would say what kind of language would
you use whether just saying yourself
certain thoughts inside or outside
whether it's yes I can do this I can
accomplish whatever I set my mind to I
am the man I am the woman whatever it is
say it now say with power say with
confidence say it with conviction say it
like you own it say it like this is who
you are that's it good now I know this
might seem strange or crazy but this is
how you change your state acting as if
and accessing this state your physiology
you can change your state in an instant
I'm sure right now as you're doing this
you're starting to feel different you're
seeing within myself my state my
confidence amplifying as I'm
communicating this to you here's what I
also want you to do I want you to
imagine I want to make a picture right
now see your
with her eyes closed what would you look
like if you were confident what would
that look like what would you focus on
to feel more confident right now what
would you see in your head maybe it's
seeing a time in your past of being
successful of executing a certain memory
or maybe it's creating one in the future
that's yet to come
using your imagination Albert Einstein
said your imagination is more powerful
than knowledge so use your imagination
your imagination is just a preview of
what's yet to come in your life so
imagine and see yourself and your mind
right now make a picture of yourself
taking action of yourself going up to
speak in front of an audience and
feeling confident and comfortable and
powerful as you're doing it of yourself
approaching that man or woman with total
confidence relaxation ease a big smile
on your face and see them responding to
you see them laughing and smiling see
the result that you want whether they're
giving you their phone number or going
on a date see yourself taking action in
your business confidently building a
business becoming successful creating
content building whatever you got to do
making those phone calls whatever it is
see it now in your minds great take that
image take that picture make it bigger
make it brighter
that's it good bring it close towards
you feel it feel that in your body feel
feel that flow through every part of
your body all the way down from your
legs or feet all the way up to your
stomach especially feel the energy flow
the confidence flow all throughout your
body right now as you focus on that feel
it flow all the way up to your chest all
the way up through your back feel it
flow and vibrate to every single cell
and pore of your body feel it flow all
the way up to your shoulders and as it
flows up to your body feel it flow feel
the power within yourself feel that
energy feel the confidence flow all the
way through your hands to your
fingertips all the way up through your
bodies up to your neck up your spine up
to your head your eyes your mouth your
ears feel it that it's a part of you
it's who you are and take that image
take that picture make it even brighter
bring it even closer towards you make it
even bigger
add more color to it make it even more
vibrance and make sure
you're doing this your breathing or
standing strong or standing strong
that's it good feel it in their body do
whatever you have to do right now to
amplify it make it even stronger make it
even stronger whatever you got to do
right now to exaggerate it if you have
to make a certain move or gesture say
yes whatever you got to do right now
make it stronger condition it condition
again and again and again that's it good
feel it feel it whatever level you are
right now I want you to take it to level
10 take that confidence to level 10 do
whatever you got to do right now on your
body to take it to level 10 you've got
to put on music we've got to certain
Ganci get certain certain moves or
gestures or expressions or tones or
sounds whatever you got to do to amplify
this confidence because if you can get
yourself to level 10 11 12 15 you can
modulate and bring this energy this
confidence down to level 7 that might be
more appropriate to a certain
environment or contexts but I what I
want you to stretch yourself to
condition like building a muscle because
right now your confidence is at a limit
but you never stretch yourself beyond
that limit to create more confidence
within yourself and body and if you did
you'd go to a whole new level in your
life if you expanded that so right now
do what you have to do to make it
stronger and here's what I want you to
do as you're feeling this confidence
right now in your body okay if you
sitting you should be standing right now
because you're gonna get way more
confident standing you will sitting
right now what I want you to do as you
feel this in your body keep it there
keep it strong what we're gonna do is
we're going to create a little anchor an
association so that you can access this
emotional state anytime that you want so
what I want you to do is I want you to
clench your right fist and say yes okay
do that now say yes good do it even
stronger yes do it even stronger yes do
it even louder yes even stronger yes
even stronger yes even stronger yes good
feel that in your body fuel that
confidence feel it amplify great now
what we're doing right now is we're a
linking we're associating yes in that
gesture to this state it's no different
than what advertisers do that they get
you in a certain state by playing a
commercial whether it's Michael Jackson
or a certain song or a beautiful woman
elicits a certain emotion and then right
at the peak oh that they flashed the
product flashed the product flashed the
prod
so that you associate that that product
to that emotional state right that's
what coca-cola and all the big companies
do you're doing the same thing now but
now you're not influenced by advertisers
you're doing it yourself so that any
moment you need this confidence all you
got to do is say yes and you'll be able
to access this emotional state and the
more you condition this you add a ritual
to your life you condition you put
yourself level ten every single day
before you start the day how is that
going to change your life how is by
accessing this state more often in your
life every day gonna change your
performance in your work in your
business it's going to go through the
roof you're gonna get better returns
you're going to take more action you're
gonna go for it by accessing this state
the next time you go to a bar or a club
or you see an attractive man or woman
you're going to be much more likely to
approach them and have a better
conversation than approaching them from
a position of fear and doubt and anxiety
right so this is something you have the
power you have the control over whatever
emotional state that you live in most
often becomes your default way of being
I used to be shy I used to be the
quietest kid but that was an emotional
state and I had conditioned it every day
by being shy and when I realized what I
just shared with you guys I could change
it in an instant I got to condition
myself every day put myself in the state
of confidence then I accessed a new side
of myself that has been useful in
executing in any area of my life and you
have that within you I don't care how
shy that you are I don't care whatever
your story is your life is limited only
because you're limiting your mind with
your beliefs and the moment you break
through that and you access these states
it's gonna totally change your quality
of life I do not leave the house and
tell them at level 10 I do not create a
video like this on youtube and Lisa and
Tom at level 10 this is my ritual to put
myself there and I don't need to do it
as much I don't always have to be level
10 I can bring myself down to six or
seven based on the topic or based on the
environment and the context but because
I put myself at level 10 I could bring
myself there if I need to as well so
this is a powerful exercise and process
that you guys can do to change your
state now I'm going
get some credit to where I got this from
I first originally learned this from
Tony Robbins Tony Robbins teaches this
process at his seminars unleash the
power within highly recommended amazing
event he teaches the emotional triad
three things that we just did that I
shared with you
determines how you feel in any moment
the first was changing physiology
changing the way you move the way you
breathe their expression that's the
fastest way to change how you feel
emotion is created by motion so change
your body your physiology put yourself
ask yourself hey if I was confident how
would I stand challenge yourself all
throughout the day stand and walk and
move a certain way right condition it
all throughout the day when you walk to
work when you're at work whatever you're
doing put your shoulders back yeah you
know at first it feels uncomfortable at
first it might hurt but you'll get used
to it you're building the muscle right
practice speaking projecting louder
practice taking up more space whenever
you catch yourself reverting back to
your default state at you know challenge
yourself in that moment so you know what
okay I'm gonna put my shoulders back I'm
gonna breathe I'm gonna move man
sometimes I go it sounds silly I go to
the bathroom and I make a move I make
whatever I got to do to put myself in
that state of power right I mean I used
to do that before seminar sometimes I'd
go into a certain room and I put myself
in a powerful powerful state so
physiology is number one number two is
you're focused whatever you focus on you
feel that's why I asked you what would
you focus on if you were confident focus
on that and see it make it bigger make
it brighter those are the sub modalities
of changing and amplifying those
experiences how we represent things to
ourselves can change how we feel the
other piece that we did was your
language certain words produce emotion
so it's saying certain phrases and words
if you're always saying I can't do this
I'm not good enough that all that stuff
that's gonna put you in a lousy state
and so what would you say if you were
confident what would you say what would
you say out loud what would you see
yourself in your mind over and over
again you know and oftentimes it might
be an arrogant type of thing where you
don't need just say that to other
peoples for you you could say to
yourself man I am the best I am the best
I am number one or I am amazing or
everybody wants to meet me or I own this
place right those thoughts those
thoughts hold
you access that state sometimes I use
certain words like you know swear words
and whatnot because they amplify the
emotional state right they create more
emotion within myself and so your
language is something also that you can
condition and use in saying speak to put
you in that powerful state of confidence
so those three things are from Tony
Robbins now Tony Robbins originally got
those concepts from NLP neuro-linguistic
programming so that's really the source
of where this came it's a lot denser and
more Tony Robbins is the best presenter
of this information in this process but
NLP neuro-linguistic programming the
study of how language affects the
nervous system and how we can program or
condition ourselves is really the source
of this so if you want to learn from
that Richard Bandler John grinder Robert
Dilts all the different prime old-school
guys of NLP are great to learn from from
this learning for example to sub
modalities that we did more about your
physiology focus and how we represent
things to ourselves all of that is
inside neural linguistic programming
which I highly recommend I got certified
from NLP years ago amazing powerful
technology that has a lot of great uses
for changing emotional states and
accessing them more often including
anchoring which is what we did to anchor
that emotional state to a certain thing
it's no different by the way if you're
driving in your car and you hear a siren
often just the the hearing of that
produces an emotion because the anchor
that we have or when you go to your job
each day you see your boss and you'll
automatically feel stressed
that's an anchor that you've linked and
associated to that boss stress when
you're at a bar or a club and your
favorite song comes on and it
automatically you guess you want to
dance and changes or state that's the
anchor the Association you've associated
to that so you can create these anchors
yourself okay we all have anchors are
not even conscious of in our life you
can collapse them but you can create new
anchors and associations for accessing
certain states and emotions you want
I've conditioned for myself by making
this move yes doing that again and again
and again man I've walked over fire I've
gone skydiving I've traveled the world
I've done scuba diving I've spoken in
front of thousands of people I've
conditioned those as reference
says to this gesture any time in I need
all those experiences the power from
that I just gonna make my move I access
that just like that and I'm rockin
confident the way that I need to be
whenever you say to yourself I don't
feel like doing it you're tired you're
lazy
don't just try to force yourself to do
it change your state put yourself in the
state where doing it will be automatic
it's automatic for you and you don't
have to
willpower your way to do it put yourself
in this state all throughout the day for
me guys if I'm tired I don't feel like
it my productivity is dripping dropping
I've put myself in that powerful
powerful state the state that taking
action is easy its effortless it's the
warrior within us access and bring out
the warrior you're gonna be able to
conquer achieve anything that you want
