how do you do your morning ritual while

salvador right now and it's early in the
morning and I'm just beginning my
morning ritual now I know a lot of
people they struggle with doing a
morning ritual while they're traveling
because they're in a different
schedule you might even be traveling
with different people and i think one
core thing that has allowed me to be
successful in doing my morning ritual no
matter what every single day is having a
core belief that a morning ritual is one
of the most important things that i can
do in my life i believe that the quality
of your life is the quality of your
emotions and that you have to
consciously and proactively take time
for yourself every single day to feel
and experience what it is that you want
and there's no exception to that
whatsoever so when I'm traveling I still
do my morning ritual I make it a must
for myself and I don't make any excuses
about about it in any shape or form and
by the way here's a beautiful ocean
right here behind me it's gorgeous out
so making it important is the key thing
you have to make this a must you have to
make putting yourself first and taking
that time for yourself to experience
whatever it is that you want you have to
do it no matter what and it's just a
core standard that I live by so if I'm
here traveling in El Salvador and maybe
I have to wake up at a certain time or
there's certain activities that are
planned I always make sure that i'll
wake up you know 15 minutes at least
before everyone else so that i can get
any morning ritual in i'm always
planning ahead of time and i think
that's a really cool thing that I stand
by as well is proper planning so for
example you know if you've got to wake
up at a certain time you know for
example I'm here traveling with a group
of people we have to wake up at a
certain time for breakfast knowing that
I'm going to wake up a little bit
earlier so that I can do my morning
ritual and I morning which will when I'm
traveling in my consists of meditating
and might consist of writing in my
journal I might consist of going for a
walk like what I'm doing right now
thinking about what I'm grateful for
asking myself certain questions really
my morning ritual depends on what I want
to get out of that day what my focus is
so my morning ritual is always dynamic
and flexible in that way based on what
it is that I need so I always do my
morning ritual no matter what and just
taking that time to plan again like I
said is one of the most important things
that I think is involved with it you
know a lot of people a struggle you know
with doing the morning ritual just
because they haven't given themselves
enough time to do it so for example if
you have to wake up for work well you
have to factor in that time of doing
your morning ritual and the same thing
goes with factoring in time before you
go to sleep that night right so if you
want to wake up at seven o'clock in the
morning and you normally get eight hours
of sleep well you're going to have to
wake up so you're gonna have to go to
sleep at least 11 p.m. right so even
having a ritual annoying what time
you're going to go to bed at it's part
of that planning process so i think that
the core biggest thing is just not
making any excuses making it important
enough for yourself and then planning
the right way and you know if you can do
that and just make it a must make it a
priority for yourself you're going to do
it you know and you have to make it as
important as as simple as brushing your
teeth you know eating your breakfast you
know these are all things that we
habitually do every single day the
morning ritual is no different you just
have to get yourself in a habit of it
and just make it automatic and when you
make it automatic you don't have to
think about anymore it's just part of
your life something you do every day
something that you enjoy something
that's fun and it's something that you
know it's just a big part of your life
that makes you who you are so no matter
what when you're traveling keep doing
your morning ritual no matter what don't
lose that momentum don't lose that the
habit because the habit is so important
you don't want to lose that you know
once you develop the right habits in
your life you want to hang on to them
because those habits take a while to
build and trust me there's people in the
world that wish that they were able to
cultivate and have the habits that you
might have already developed so you want
to make sure that you keep the momentum
going on certain habits that you
already established because you know
it's not fun having to come back from a
trip and then having to get yourself
back into that routine I'd much rather
just keep that momentum going and keep
these standards in my life long term so
