what's going on guys in this video I'll
talk about three different ways that you
can go about naming your new YouTube
into it
let's start with number one and that is
by using your own name so a lot of
youtubers have been doing this recently
it's definitely a great option I mean
you can't really go wrong with it just
using your own name for your YouTube
channel and one of the best parts about
this is that you're not gonna be
infringing on any trademarks or
copyrights or anything like that you can
always use your own name for your
YouTube channel you shouldn't have any
problems with that and another cool
thing about it is that you can sort of
change the way that you make videos on
YouTube so if you want to change the
types of videos that you want to make on
YouTube you can certainly do that with
your name so it kind of gives you a
broad spectrum of video topics to do
because you can sort of bounce around
and do different things now a drawback
to having your own name as your channel
while some people might not really know
what you're associated with so people
might not know if you make farming
videos or or or space videos or or
gaming videos and like I know that by
just seeing your name so if you are
going to use your name make sure you
make your channel are very obvious of
what you do so that people know what
kind of videos you make but you really
can't go wrong with using your name
let's get into number two here which is
by just coming up with the completely
made-up word for your channel name so I
know a lot of people do this so I think
of as I ovo if you know who that is or
h3h3 productions I mean you can
completely just come up with a random
word you can make up a word you can make
up an acronym I mean that's kind of what
I did for my channel for obr media I
mean I basically just made up three
letters there and what what what it
really comes down to is that you need to
be able to brand yourself and your
videos around that brand name around
that channel name so as long as you can
do that
it's not gonna be a problem of coming up
with something random but if you are
gonna come up with some type of name
like that I would suggest going on to
the trademark and copyright website for
the US government I forget what the
exact web address is for that but I'll
put it down in the description box below
and just make sure that nobody else has
that name take
yet for a business or for a a channel or
something like that so so the third way
that you can go about naming your
channel is to actually tie it in to what
you actually make your videos about so
for example if you're gonna make like
urban exploring videos where you climb
buildings and you go through subways and
stuff and you explore stuff maybe you
would name your channel something like
urban explorer in New York or something
like that and I'm just coming up with
that on the spot I mean I'm sure you can
come up with a better name but what my
point is is that if you put what you
actually do in your YouTube channel name
that can really help you a lot because
then when you make comments on other
people's channels they're gonna see that
and they don't know exactly what kind of
videos you make right there right then
so that's really cool about that so I
think all three of these are really
great options and what you can go about
doing is you can do something like what
I did with my channel where I did obr
media so I took the land on this and I
mixed it with the third one that I just
talked about which is putting in what
you actually do on your channel so for
obr media we make videos for YouTube to
actually help youtubers make better
videos and increase their influence
