SEO Consultation - Follow Along As We Optimize A Content Marketing Campaign For The Search Engines

Beckler calm and in this video you're
gonna get to follow along as I do kind
of a consultation session with a friend
and we're gonna be looking at search
engine optimization I got a lot of good
feedback from the keyword research video
and this is not a beginner video on SEO
that's already on the channel just
search on the channel for that but what
we're doing is we're jumping into a
friend of Mines website and content
marketing plan to help make sure he's
maximizing the optimization and the
reach to get the most amount of traffic
he can from the content he's already
putting out so again welcome to the
channel for the second time
Billy elusive is here how are you Billy
miles hashtag baddest Binkley I'm good
man awesome it's good to have you here
again and the first step if you would
give just kind of a brief overview of
what you've been doing with your content
marketing where you feel like you're at
at this point and maybe a little bit of
what's worked and then what you feel
like the challenge that you want to try
to overcome is yeah sure so we have a
website that's in the health and fitness
niche which is obviously a big niche so
we have an online gym concept people
stream workouts and so a lot of the
content we've been creating in the past
has been kind of light and fluffy in
just doing that whole consistency and
cranking out content on a regular basis
for us recipes have always worked well
for us creating recipes so my wife is
the whole content side of the business
and so now we're on the on the track of
creating a whole lot of recipes you know
trying to do one each day each recipe
has an awesome video that shows the
creation of that recipe for the likes of
YouTube and Facebook and then obviously
the recipe will be a blog post on our
website
and so the challenge for us is how we
maximize that content that we're
creating on the recipe side and I guess
in the other blog posts that we do so
that we can maximize that and not fall
into the same trap trap that we fell
into in the past whi
ch was just trying
to create as much content as possible
right it's yeah the game has changed
from wide like 500 word post boom
boo-boom boo-boom to kind of almost like
depth is more important at this point
yeah so real quick question on these
blog posts is there an average kind of
length that you're seeing how as you
create them what is like where's that
fun and easy part right like how many
words or how big can of a post you make
on average would you say recipes are
hard because you kind of want to create
a story around it because a recipe
you've only got so many ingredients
right so it's how you pad their out in
itself but what is really easy as Nikhil
is really good at creating the recipes
and the videos that we do are really
good so one thing that I should mention
is that these videos that we're
currently doing for the recipes are just
it there's no talking so you know
there's no transcripts that we could be
doing on those they're just showing how
the the wrist is assembled gotcha
okay and so just a heads up on that so
if you're publishing videos to YouTube
with no spoken track you're missing a
lot of opportunity to give Google which
is YouTube right they're one in the same
they're reading and transcribing so if
you add a voiceover layer that almost
reads out your blog posts onto those
videos to give it some sort of text to
follow your videos could potentially
rank even better which means that the
link from the video back to your blog
post would actually rank a little bit
better as well because that
transcription machine's always running
in there they're trying to identify what
is the video about
through the words spoken on the video
that make sound okay
yeah that's so so really helpful yeah so
it's one step now on the recipes are you
guys specific like do you promote aa
diet style are you guys like a paleo
couple or do you like you there are one
area or are you like food is good eat
whole well good foods and just live
happy gotcha yeah yeah so definitely the
recipes are clean eating whole foods
that could be classed under paleo
category as well you know sugar-free
gluten-free free of most things do you
all the way in do you do vegan recipes
vegetarian like I'm trying to figure out
what are these main buckets at this
point it's kind of the first thing so as
we go like the recipes are like the
lowest point on like a silo and I'm
trying to be how do we categorize these
in a way that's gonna kind of make the
most logical sense to build some
structure in your site's content to
where maybe these recipes aren't the
highest ranking things although they'll
rank for longtail but we need to figure
out a way to get you rankings for some
short tails because that's gonna give
you a big bump quick so clean eating
Whole Foods paleo sugar-free gluten-free
like vegan vegetarian what other kind of
diet phrases might you have I guess
that's where you would want to dive into
your keyword research isn't it to see
those related terms but you you you've
hit their nail those are the main
broader categories I suppose gotcha
and then how many recipes do you think
you have like how many posts because
each recipe is a post right on WordPress
yes
gosh we would hit of 200 Oh fantastic
and then that's where yeah but this is
where we need to maybe then go back and
pare down some of those because a lot of
those recipes are just photos recipe a
really short blue that's a yeah and you
could even potentially like merge them
into like the seven best Paleo diet
recipes you can make
20 minutes and then on that one page you
could create like a long page that would
have seven different recipes with maybe
200 words about why this recipe is good
like all this recipe is great for a
winter day or if it's hot and summer you
would want to go with something like
this have friends over this is a really
easy one to prepare and then one post
could end up being a very long post with
multiple recipes getting into that I
don't want to say BuzzFeed ish but you
know like the seven paleo recipes Wow
number two really surprised me those
kinds of headlines you're moving the
content together and then you would just
301 redirect all of the individual posts
over to that bigger post just an idea
for you something that popped off that's
not my head because if they're out there
kind of like isolated merging them
together it's like you have a lot of
little assets and how can you blend them
together to maybe get a little bit of
depth out of it so 200 old posts you're
creating like one new one a day right
now good on you for the content so what
I'm gonna do at this point I'm gonna
jump in and I'm gonna click screen share
and I'm gonna take over and share my
entire screen so it could be one quick
second and we're gonna jump in you're
gonna see like that echo screen of death
but we're free of that so the first
place I want to go is I'm gonna take a
little bit of want to look at your
website's numbers on Moz and I'm going
you knew it do you know what your
numbers are yeah I do excited oh it's
okay but it could be a lot better like I
think I definitely not focused on much
to this point you know and are you doing
any sort of Pinterest marketing you have
the Pinterest have you like we covered
that plan for your other site have you
implemented that here we've only just
started to do that for this website but
I think you're gonna find that you're
gonna get a lot of actual link juice
there's a really powerful connection
with Pinterest being such a strong image
search engine and you guys are really
good at imagery so I really lay it on
thick make sure
getting out five to ten different pins
for every single blog post that you have
and get all those linking back I covered
that in the long Pinterest video but I
think you also kind of get that game
playing because you were kind of a case
study on that
so the second place I'm gonna go is
miles Beckler comm /kw finder which is
gonna take us to our keyword tool I'm
just gonna take me just a hot second to
log in here and have you been playing
with this tool at all been well do I use
this one because currently because I
have my Edwards account gives me the
full data got it because because we hit
it you know we were using Adwords
and spending a lot so they give us the
full data okay so the one thing and that
makes sense so you get the real iam for
everybody was watching when he says the
full data he's talking about the actual
exact search volume they started hiding
that and putting these broad kind of
ranges which isn't as helpful this right
here Ben is the part that I love about
this tool is seeing whether it's
possible or not and if you look at these
two columns it shows you what the DA and
PA is on the first two columns for
everyone's who's on the first page so I
can just scroll on this right here and
look and I'm just looking at the da to
start and I'm it's pretty clear to me
that you're out ranked for Paleo recipes
right now right and that's a big time
phrase and ironically you're on e on the
it's not on the top list the recipes as
misspelt as well so a lot of people
misspell it so do I have an extra I
that's hilarious miles doesn't have is
that it PR e is yeah but yeah this toll
I'm gonna switch to this tool because
this extra data about the difficulty
levels is really helpful because I the
Edwards told ed which key with wonder
just gives you there gives you the
volume and it's a pay per click data on
whether it's high medium large or small
so I'm seeing right here the DA is
consistently 40 so we need to bump your
da so what I'm gonna go I'm gonna go to
the next kind of lowest one right to the
next longer tail
and what I'm looking for is I'm looking
for an opportunity for us to maybe jump
into an area now have you created or are
you familiar with the kind of ultimate
guideposts concept yes cool and have you
created a like an ultimate guide at this
point for like an ultimate guide - paleo
or do you have what I would call one
core page that you think would be your
paleo recipe page that's like an index
of all of your Paleo diet or recipes no
there's a fantastic idea so that's
that's where we're eventually going and
I think what I want to do is like so
I've got a little short list of them and
we're gonna bounce through that keyword
tool but to give you an idea of what I'm
seeing in my head is you need to have
one main core this is our Paleo page and
all of your paleo recipes link back and
support that page and all of your other
diet pages can mention you know this is
a little bit like paleo but it's
different if you're interested in paleo
look here but you always have this one
kind of like what I would call your top
level paleo recipes page and as you get
all of your other blog posts and all of
your youtube videos and all of your
Pinterest pins pointing back to that as
your paleo page it will gain an
authority from simply your little web of
links and your web of what you create
right so so then what I would do in that
kind of a page is what is paleo where
did paleo come from why is Paley
important what are some of the the facts
about paleo diet what are some of the
rumors and myths about the Paleo diet
you guys aren't all in on paleo and I
think I would play that up in the
content and be honest like I know you
guys eat like really well and like you
probably eat a lot of paleo but not all
in for some little reasons share that so
you know I just hit a Christian poppin
when you're referring to that so let's
say there's paleo recipes as one key
where you might be be targeting or
there's clean clean eating recipes or
whole food recipes if they have kind of
similar search volumes
you do I just target one of those rather
than going after all three I would what
I would do is I would go after one to
start and what I'm looking for here and
how I would differentiate with when I
would choose would be mainly focused on
which one has the lowest competition
score which will give you the chance to
kind of get some momentum on your side
first because a couple of things happen
when you hit the first page of Google is
you not only start to get the traffic
which is like you see it analytics
you're like yeah numbers the rough right
you kind of feel good so it's like a
moral victory but other people start to
find you other content creators can find
you and then they can start linking to
your resource because if you put
together this ultimate guide to paleo
diet post that's like 2,500 words it's
practically an e-book it's it's
well-written it's got great images it's
got really good videos on it they're
gonna look at that and think I'm not
gonna go recreate that they're just
gonna link to you naturally and that's
how you can start to attract blog link
or backlinks but you have to rank first
in order to get that and once you get
your first kind of version of that done
in one little vertical and you go back
in your old blog post and you link it
back up and you do a couple of week new
and you link them up then I would go
create another ultimate post for one of
whatever the next most likely to work
would be okay so question when you are
saying link up those individual posts to
their ultimate guide posts how do you
decide whether you 301 redirect those
which is what you may have mentioned
earlier this is linking to it do you
only 301 redo it something if it's if
you look in your analytics and it's
getting no traction or traffic
whatsoever yeah and that's a great
question and I use 301 redirects as a
like only if I have to all right like in
every other situation I'm gonna do if I
already have a page of content and just
getting much traffic that's okay I'm
just gonna link that if I remove that
content from that page and go use that
in my ultimate guide and actually would
have a potential for having duplicate
content on my site that's the situation
when I would 301 redirect it to remove
the chance of having that
duplicate content on the site so if I'm
literally taking that exact content and
adding it to the ultimate guide I'd
redirect it but other than that so we've
used it very successfully because we
took the same approach you were there
for like four or five years the game of
SEO was more content more content it
wasn't depth it was width and what we've
been doing recently is going in and
finding all of our kind of blog posts
that are about a topic and we're merging
them together to create these bigger
topics we usually keep it in the place
of the best ranking one and then all of
the other kind of subsections that we
add to it or other blog posts and then
we just redirect all of those blog posts
to that one and instead of having three
or four posts that are doing okay we
kind of focus all of that energy and now
we have one post that does even better
and that's been proving to work really
well for us kind of long term so perhaps
that could be a good good thing for for
us to do is to go back through those
posts and find ones that are all related
and and to clean those up what you say
could that be the best fit before trying
to create new posts is how much time do
you have right yeah and my honest answer
is I would I would go do everything like
literally that is it I'm pulling through
these keyword research why we're talking
clean-eating it's a ton of searches
sugar free recipes one thing I like
about sugar free recipes is it's got a
little bit lower difficulty it's still a
bit above your weight class and it's got
a little bit lower search volume but
it's based around a problem right like a
lot of people who are looking for sugar
free recipes are probably going to be
like pre-diabetic or diabetic or they're
gonna have some sort of a health
condition to where most people who are
choosing to be vegetarian or most people
who are choosing to be so the other it's
more of a choice it's a lifestyle choice
there's a potential for creating the
content upgrades and this is kind of the
last as if I haven't laid enough ideas
for work
you yet let's continue this what I would
do is each one of these ultimate guides
I would create a separate content
upgrade and I would have on the Paleo
diet I would have get our free paleo
recipe book it's 30 different recipes
you can make within 30 minutes right
like 30 and third like come up with some
little niche thing and that have that be
a separate popup on that page have that
be if you have a sidebar still in the
sidebar linked to it from like shout
outs and call-outs in the text and have
that be an opt-in that's hyper hyper
targeted to the content on that page so
instead of running like get our recipes
thing from all of your different ones
you have somebody finds your paleo page
offer them a paleo download to get them
on your list if somebody finds your
sugar free recipe page offer them a
sugar free recipe downloads from the
list and it literally could be the same
content laid out a little bit different
compile it work it up together does that
make sense
totally I was gonna ask you can it be
essentially the same content because if
you're gonna go to all the effort of
doing a big grantee ebook that's going
where content on there it's sort of like
you also want it on their blog post oh
yes absolutely and what I would do is
maybe just compile it in a unique way
keep it branded because what you're
offering them is the ability to download
it right they can then at that point
they can put it on their their tablet a
lot of people cook with tablets nearby
and you could just kind of like angle it
as like this makes it so much easier to
use in the kitchen and then really take
a little bit of time on the layout
design to make sure that that it works
really well on a tablet so it actually
is kind of even though it's the same
content they're downloading the fact
that it's a different layout of the
content it's in a different format
that's gonna make the ease of use that
much easier or whatever it is does that
make sense so let me real quick I'm and
everybody's probably watching me cuz I'm
talking so I think the cameras on me but
I'm in and I'll even share what I'm
doing here so let me go back to the
screen share one more time I've been
doing this in the background
and the tunnel of screens no all right
we're out so I've been going through the
keyword tool and really just kind of
looking for what are those keyword
phrases and I've just I've got a notepad
this is this is really how I operate is
I take some notes I come up with what I
call the seed keywords these are kind of
the top ideas and then as I go down
below I am just adding the basics of
what I'm finding so I'm gonna go and
look at the gluten-free here you in your
analytics have you found that there's
one segment of recipes that seems to be
bringing in more traffic than others hmm
no that's a good point I need to look at
if that's the case yep
so you're talking about desserts versus
baking I guess versus breakfasts things
like there yeah right well in even if
you look at this screen so it's got this
number here but that number is reflected
and all I did I'm just scrolling around
looking for this so you can see
gluten-free soup right it's got a 37 and
yes it's got kind of the lower search
volume like if you if you stuck the
number one spot for that you would
probably see 1500 ish new visits per
month to your website which is a
noteworthy amount and then this could be
propping up a larger gluten-free thing
and every time somebody reaches your
site they get your Facebook retargeting
pixel which is absolutely huge right but
if you notice like da 24 and PA of 20
you're sitting at your a 30 da weren't
you yeah
28:33 so 20 for 20 in theory the numbers
hold that gluten-free soup is going to
be a really strong possibility for you
and then best gluten-free cookbook like
you could do a review post on the
different ones and what happens is as
you collect more page one wins you get
more kind of search engine mojo by
proving that you're getting good
click-through numbers that you get good
on time site contact numbers you know
the more Google sees people interacting
on your website
the more they're gonna kind of reward
you because they see that they're having
a good experience now you know about
Whole Foods in the US right you're in
New Zealand you're familiar with this
brand mm-hmm like there's a giant store
kind of like brand there I would I
wouldn't personally stay away from that
keyword phrase until you have a lot
going for you because of how big it's a
brand it can be a branded search camera
right so now just on paleo I did another
search on paleo and Paleo diet recipes
right and paleo recipes is this is what
you want to ultimately rank for but
that's like that's next year let's be
honest right but what we can do is we
want to go find the low-hanging fruit in
this so we're gonna scroll down and you
can see right here paleo bars 6,600 if
you nail the number one spot for paleo
bars the odds are you're gonna get 2,500
to 3,000 new visits of people and
anybody who's interested in paleo bars
is going to be interested in other stuff
that you've got out there what is that
36:29 and they've got to anytime you see
somebody with two it's easier to knock
one of theirs off because Google wants
to show a variety of content so you're
at 28 33 there at 36 29 you have a
really good chance of nailing that and
then down here you got 17 and 16 and
these are what we're looking for is
people with these these outliers it's
like how did this person get there we
don't really know it could be one solid
blog link but I mean this is just
showing like an Amazon listing this has
a page authority of one right so that's
a deep link with a page authority of one
so like their permalinks are all messed
up so this is one of those you're pretty
easy to rank for but then once I click
paleo bars look at all these other ones
so here's how you can use this you can
create a paleo bar silo right so now you
want to create and what what I'm talking
about doing I'm gonna switch back to the
the screen share so I can see what's
cracking here so what we're talking
about doing here is you want paleo
recipes ultimately to win but what we
need to get that to work
is we need like three or four super
solid paleo some things first that all
link up and support that main Paleo
recipes but all of these four sub paleo
ideas need to have five or six or seven
things supporting them so you're kind of
creating this almost pyramid shape and I
use pyramid lightly because there was
some old shady stuff that had the word
pyramid in it but I'm just referring to
the shape of it so you have the Paleo
recipes but then I'm finding paleo bars
is number two and under that paleo
protein bars is good paleo snack bars
paleo energy bars and Paleo diet bars
right so what it will relax them right
they're all related so each of those
would get its own post would then and
then they would ring who knows that they
realized it yes ultimately you want
because Google wants the most relevant
posts for the most relevant keyword and
if you just have your protein if you
just have your bars posts that's like a
little bit about that and a little bit
about that in a little bit about
Google's me like cool this is pretty
good but it's kind of about three things
versus homie over here who has a paleo
energy bar recipe that has like the
be-all-end-all three different paleo
energy bar recipes and what makes them
an energy bar and if you're interested
in a paleo diet bar you want to check
this out and then you've a paleo diet
bar post that talks about what makes a
paleo diet bar different it's it's low
carbs it's it's low sugar it's blah blah
I don't I'm way out of line that's
that's for you guys to do right but
that's how you would structure it so
then what you start to do is now since
you're making that blog post a day ago
look do I have any Paleo energy bar
snack bar diet bar recipes already
if so no okay no so perfect so now like
hey Nicola like let's make some paleo
bars right and I wouldn't go do you
don't have to go do like paleo bar today
tomorrow the next day like one a week
for the next week you know for the next
three weeks you do this bar one week
that bar obviously you're gonna eat them
and enjoy them while you're working on
the homestead and then you write your
content and then week two you do your
second your paleo energy
week three you do your paleo this and
then you can put your kind of like
ultimate guide - paleo bars and you talk
about what paleo bars are why are they
handy because if you're going on the
dirt bike or if you're working in the
yard blah blah blah you paint that story
of your lifestyle in the content of the
paleo bars talking about why you like it
eventually that's gonna have a paragraph
that says and this is why we're so keen
on the paleo recipe but we're not all in
on paleo read this post for more and
that goes to your top level paleo
recipes go check that and so they're all
work and then your paleo recipes we
talked about your paleo bars your paleo
soups your paleo breakfasts your paleo
desserts right and and we need to follow
the keywords for all of those and you're
just trying to create that that
structure of relevance of the shortest
to word keyword phrase and then the next
tier has three or four three work or
four word keyword phrase and then below
that you've got the four and five word
keyword phrases everything gets its own
post everything kind of links and flows
its link juice back up everything has
Pinterest out the Galore the YouTube
with a spoken track on it each one of
these has its own little web socially
right and then they all web internally
so the social media web that the 10 the
10 Pinterest pins on three different
down here is 30 Pinterest pins all that
energy focuses up to two or three all
that energy focuses up to one and you're
you're leveraging and moving your SEO
mojo up and up and up okay one thing I'm
noticing and just the way that you
operate is that you start with the
keyword research and we're the
opportunities life whereas we've always
started the other end here's a recipe
that Nicholas done now how do we know if
you like that or target the right the
right area for there you know there's an
analogy that a man like a business
mentor a long time ago told me and it
was like there's two ways to get rich in
the restaurant industry number one you
go lock yourself in your kitchen you
make the most amazing meal at
and then you go outside of your house
and you sort of walk it on the streets
and you just try to find somebody to buy
the meal that you want the other way is
you go find a crowd of hungry people and
you simply offer them something to eat
it could be a hot dog or a bag of
peanuts but it's like going and finding
the hungry audience that's not yet being
served with excellence that's the kind
of and that's where that having that
access to that on the keyword tool the
actual competition data is like you can
see ok so paleo recipes that they're
being served right there's magazines
about that there's some really big
brands focusing on that so that audience
is being served but people looking for
paleo soup recipes are not being served
right now let's go be of service to them
and let's go create the best damn paleo
soup recipes we can and those are
stacking up those little wins and as you
collect and this is how we built our
entire site this is why Melanie my site
gets 3/4 of million visits a month is
because we've never focused on angel
readings ever or angel cards or any of
those big like angel messages we've
focused on signs your angels are with
you signs from your deceased loved ones
right we're finding these four five and
six key word four five and six word long
tail keyword phrases and then we're just
dominating them and when you do that
enough the relevant like Google's like
oh this site they ran for everything of
course they deserve this one and this
one and those almost come as a byproduct
of that but you do need to put the
content in place like it's not total
by-product but you do the work man yeah
that's the truth of life isn't it so
okay so that's the whole content
creation side of things what's your take
on link building like I know that some
people definitely think that's really
really important
as a as a way to be a CEO what's your
take on it
yeah and so it still is a massive
ranking factor it's much less of a
ranking factor than it was two years ago
and it's more
dangerous of a direction to go in than
it was two years ago what I think is
happening I want to give you my kind of
longer-term vision first I believe
Google is aggressively working on AI to
try to get AI to actually make the
decision on whose websites ranked based
on a bot version of a human take that's
their goal is to get rid of backlinks as
a ranking factor and to use some sort of
an AI as a ranking factor we're not
there at some point we'll be there
they've been D indexing a lot like the
web 2.0 D index the the the article
directory D index right and so private
blog networks are one way people are
absolutely ranking and getting a lot of
rank juice very quickly I don't run a
private blog network I've tested some
private blog network links a couple of
times they do seem to send a bump in
your numbers but every time you do it
it's literally potentially a risk what I
think I would do if I were you guys is
try to leverage like you guys have
authority in like nickel is a little bit
of a celebrity Authority in New Zealand
in her niche right like well especially
in social like the social medias like a
lot of your blog posts get get shared
socially so I guess and party what
you're saying longer-term surely Google
is going to start recognizing more of
those social shares which should be more
valuable than a link on a website which
is harder to do right and I think that's
already happening and I think that
that's where my real kind of push to
Pinterest because Facebook and Google
are at odds with each other a little bit
and you don't get as much for Facebook
shares as we used to like a lot of
Facebook shares it still helps but I
think the Pinterest shares really go a
long way and what you'll find is when
you get your recipes out and they start
getting shared every time someone reap
ends your recipe to one of their boards
they're duplicating that and they're
duplicating your description and you're
getting another blog link and another
social share it's probably a nofollow
link it's probably a very small on the
weight but just getting that machine
going to get that large bulk of social
reach could potentially allow you to go
nail down a big time link I would really
try like how do you get a Huffington
Post like I would look for major media
backlinks how can she write articles and
guest blogs for like Good Housekeeping
or fit woman New Zealand yes it's
something with it's mind body grain
combat showed up on your Mars yet site
explorer is links bit so we're doing she
was doing these blog posts and they're
they're good but the challenge with mind
body green is I could go there right now
and I could put up a paleo recipe blog
and they would probably accept it right
okay barrier to entry there is really
really low what I'm saying is how do you
get a national actual magazine right
like something that like you can't just
walk up to a magazine I can't just go
publish my content on a magazine they
want to make sure it's real it they got
you know you gotta like schmooze the
editors a little bit and that's when you
find something like that and you can get
a few backlinks from like actual fitness
magazines or from these bigger
mainstream media sites
I even Huffington Post you can get
sometimes a contributor account or you
can buy a guest link through a
contributor account people sell this on
Fiverr people sell us on upwork so
people can build relationships as
contributors with Huffington Post with
Business Insider I only know this in the
business side but but it works for
health and fitness as well and once
they're there they can go post to
Huffington Post but it's a contributor
article not an actual Huffington Post
article so you to leverage the authority
of Huffington Post you get to say you're
on Huffington Post but the barrier of
entry is way way WAY lower sometimes I
wonder how do you know so I've got
friends who go around bragging as seen
on Forbes and Huffington Post and I'm
like what and I go look they bought
their way onto there and that's kind of
marketing and I'm like that's
and that's what I under my goal in life
this it's called these wankers who are
like the system right if you're gonna
for a backlink great go do it for a
backlink but if you're gonna do it to go
around be like I was on Huffington Post
like a cool I am it's like 350
bucks I could be there too it's not
really that big of a use of my time but
it is possible if you're interested I'm
gonna throw it out there like the ones I
purchased in the past are from a company
called lightning rank and he is
reputable
he runs a very large blog network he
usually can get you links from relevant
sites he'll also try to upsell you a
private blog network don't do it viewers
who are watching don't do it like Ben
don't do it don't go down that path you
don't need to be that aggressive one or
two maybe if you need a little help if
you're like if you've got a something
that's sitting on like the top of page 2
and you want to hit it with a link or
two to give it a shot maybe you can also
go on fibre and on up work and look for
guest posts in the health and wellness
niche and you'll find a lot of people
selling guest posts and you could go
write a guest post for them I would
always and I've tested this myself and
it works pretty well I always find out
what are the blog what are the blog URLs
that I would get listed on they send it
over before purchasing and then I go do
my Ma's research I want to see spam
score of 3 2 or 1 or less and then I
want to see some actual real blog links
to their blog from what looks like
relevant sites I don't want to go buy
into their blog that's supported by
their private blog network I want to go
buy into their blog that actually has
kind of a natural reach and the reason
people do that is because they don't
know how to monetize their blog like you
figured that out we figured that out
right membership programs like like
that's the game we know how to do that
but what these other people have done is
like their writers they love paleo
they've been for like nine years writing
about paleo move this gigantic site they
don't know how to make any money so
they'll sell you blog posts guest posts
for 40 bucks and you can get it on on
Fiverr and they'll even write it for you
if you want but again I'm super
protective of backlinks and I prefer to
focus my energy on creating more content
distributing more content and making my
content so
damn good that people have to link back
to me it's happening with my channel I
mean I'm getting the fact that I'm not
pitching in every video is why people
are sharing my channel everywhere like
I'm getting internet marketing how to
groups sharing my channel in my videos
and that's because I'm not a d-bag I'm
not just like oh yeah no go by my course
alright I'm actually giving great value
yeah you just have to take that approach
to your content and like a content
upgrade should be about the only thing
they see and then you offer them the gym
like you know on the back end of the
funnel hmm that's really good
infographics would be the one other
place I think you could potentially
infographics get shared a lot on
Pinterest you can if you create a really
cool infographic on something you can
generally get those distributed because
the perception of an infographic is more
difficult to put together if I go read
your blog post about paleo soup recipes
and like I can you just go rewrite that
if I see like this really cool
infographic and I have no idea what a
cool infographic would look like for
paleo soups but if I saw that the odds
of you being like ah that looks really
difficult I'm just gonna go embed that
in my site and when it embeds you get
the backlink from the image and you can
get as many image backlinks as you want
without ever having like duplicate
anchor text issues or anything weird
like that but then you have to deal with
that creating them in the text on them
and like it's a whole other thing one
when you're saying what what comes easy
to us one thing that yeah we do really
well as video and so I'm thinking you
know more ways to use video or a blog
post so we are currently going through
previous blog posts who've done in
adding video to them and also the videos
I'm seeing on social where it's like
looking down and you see like the
time-lapse of her chopping and the
ingredients going together know so this
would be like for example stretching
type blog posts you know five stretches
to do for your hips for example yep
instead of just listing them a day it's
now we go through in actually creating a
video for their right to add so went
through your
video YouTube video SEO video that you
did really good awesome
and so I've been following that you know
so creating that video can only add
weight to that blog post can it totally
and and I would always try to focus on
if you're ever focusing on a problem
right so like there's stretches for your
hamstring like and she you know she's
classically trained in this and your
next professional athlete so you guys
know like hamstrings and like like that
side of it most people who are like
dipping their toe into body mechanics
and body work are coming from a place of
like my back's because I've been
sitting in an office chair all day and
so you gotta actually I think you guys
need to really make sure your brain is
focused on dumbed-down and I use that
term loosely I don't I'm not calling
people you know dumb I'm just saying
like you got to make sure it's in
layman's terms versus like jargon terms
because I think it's really easy to go
and talk about the the quad stretch
that'll increase your by flexor I'm so
far down the whole like people are like
you know I'm on my phone all day and my
necks bugging me
what's us what are three stretches for
my neck hmm and and presenting your
comment from that so I think that's
where most people are gonna find you is
from problem solution that's again why I
like the sugar side of things and then
also the gluten-free side of things
because like gluten-free is kind of
trend ly trendy you know not everybody's
a cellucor whatever it is but like
becoming a trusted advisor for people
who have very touchy dietary
restrictions that isn't from choice it
is from like mush it's kind of messed up
I really have to do this coming from
that standpoint meeting them they're
where they're at they probably just
learned that they have this problem so
they're learning this whole new way to
cook and to make food and if you make it
look fun and easy and healthy and yummy
and you're not even gonna be missing out
you're gonna actually be getting more
goodness and your body's gonna work
better you can have more energy and like
if you give them that ray of hope and
excitement through your content they
fall in love with you and that's how you
build a customer for life off of
one piece of content that they find you
have now that Mouse I have worked today
yeah it's that all makes sense it's

stuck in and get this all cranking

did go into my head about how you start
you know start with that keyword
research stuff rather than starting with
his our recipe that we've already done
now how do we mold it right so I'll take
that on board for sure yeah go get the
low-hanging fruit first go look at what
people are looking for and they're
underserviced and then delivered to them
and if you do that for a few months on a
really good you're gonna pick up so many
little page one victories that you're
gonna notice the bump in your traffic
and then you do that long enough and
then you start to get the bigger ones
and that's how it kind of creates this
snowballing effect awesome thanks miles
