2018 iPhone Name Leaks, RIP 3D Touch & SE 2 Leaked? #Helpful Post

2018 iPhone Name Leaks, RIP 3D Touch & SE 2 Leaked? #Helpful Post

what's up guys I've got a juicy update
for you regarding this year's iPhone
amongst other news including the iPhone
se 2 and some other good stuff in there
now first off I wanted to say happy
Earth Day a little late on this one
who's on Sunday but - still wanted to
say regardless my show just came in so
I'm like whatever anyways the first
thing I wanted to talk about probably be
most exciting because I've been

wondering this myself for the longest
time what will the new iPhone be called
it seems that Apple put themselves at a
crux like you don't know what they're
gonna do next because of the naming they
chose for the iPhone 10 so they went
from the iPhone 6s to the 7 it was
rumored to be the 7s snacks they skipped
that to the 8th so a lot of people were
thinking the next iPhone would be called
the 9 or even the iPhone 4.7 but then
what does that leave the iPhone 10 with
what will that be called the iPhone 10 -
is just kind of confusing because Apple
backed themselves into a corner with the
naming so a new report from Guggenheim
an investment firm is claiming that they
know the naming scheme of this year's
iPhone so get ready for this drumroll
because this year's iPhone the main one
of the new model the 6.1 inch will be
called the iPhone just iPhone so what a
surprise
this goes directly from the iPad naming
scheme Apple's probably gonna fall into
a very similar uh naming scheme on the
iPhone so the base model the entry-level
will just be called iPhone prepare to
get confused or add your own surname to
it because it'll probably be the iPhone
6.1 inch maybe the iPhone LCD but it
will just be called the iPhone and I
definitely think that Apple does need to
simplify the naming of this year's
lineup and what better way to do it than
to start naming it like the iPads will
have the iPad the iPhone model and then
for the larger or more expensive models
you know it was the iPad pro and in this
case the iPhone at 10 the five point
eight inch model or the iPhone 11 will
be called just the iPhone 10 this
investment form is saying it'll remain
being called the iPhone 10 so I've
updated and reflected that on the design
with my little icon there are probably
not gonna happen on the official version
but I just like to have a little point
of reference there so it'll likely be
called the iPhone 10 they didn't say
what the larger 6.5 inch model would be
called but I'm guessing the iPhone 210
plus it's still confusing honestly
because a lot of people will associate
the iPhone 10
with last year's model and I don't think
that's a good idea for Apple to keep the
iPhone 10 name as is the iPhone 11 would
make sense because it's the next year's
model and people just associate the
higher number with a newer device and
this isn't a hundred percent set as most
rumors do have some doubts and could
change over time but this very likely
could be the final naming scheme for
this year's iPhone let's give a quick
recap here so we've got the 5.8 inch
iPhone a10 which will be priced at $899
hopefully there's rumors floating around
$8.99 to $9.99 but apples trying to keep
it low they're negotiating for prices
with the displays so they're trying to
keep that price point there the next one
the 6.1 inch the LCD model single camera
glass back no 3d touch and huh new rumor
about that surfaced today and also at
price points about 550 all the way up to
$750 depending on whether or not you
choose the dual SIM model or not so this
one is going to be probably the most
popular iPhone coming out this year
you'll have a very similar display look
to the iPhone 10 of last year and you'll
have face ID but they won't have some of
the cooler features of it and after that
comes the iPhone a 10 plus model which
will start at nine hundred and ninety
nine dollars and probably stretch to a
thousand 150 the same pricing as last
year's iPhone 10 models so that is the
lineup for this year that is what it'll
be called kind of interesting get ready
for confusing names iPhone iPhone 10
wait this year's iPhone 10 last year's
iPhone 10 so I definitely would like to
see how Apple will present this to us
any new report published by Ming Chico
today details why these 6.1 inch iPhone
will not have 3d touch it's a very
interesting decision by Apple to remove
a feature that's been in most iphones
already for several years and just to
accent like that on a new model is kind
of strange but he does give another
reason other than just keeping the phone
price low he's saying that this would
add to a durability aspect of the phone
because it would have an extra layer
that 3d touch has which makes the phone
more fragile the glass on its it would
actually be a more durable design and
not only that the phone would be lighter
as a result because it's missing that
layer so basically the phone is expected
to use a cover glass sensor which is
essentially the digitizer and it's
embedded in one of these layers of glass
removing one that was used by 3d touch
although it doesn't seem like it is a
technological advancement even though it
reduces or removes
3d touch the price actually goes from 23
to 26 dollars for this component so it
will be kind of interesting to see what
the new iPhone will be like without 3d
touch I'm sure that many of the elements
of 3d touch will still be there you'll
just have to hold and wait instead of
holding and pressing in like 3d touch
which is what Apple does on all the
iPads and other iPhones that don't have
it like in the control center it's quite
interesting I want to see what happens
there
and next is report actually dives deeper
into 3d touch and he's saying that it's
very likely Apple could remove 3d touch
all together from the iPhone in the
upcoming iPhone models not this year but
in the future all incorporating this new
sensor technology so as a result you
know their phones would be getting more
durable maybe a little bit lighter a
little bit thinner but they wouldn't
have 3d touch so it's a very interesting
choice on Apple's and if they were to go
through with it but Ming Chico I mean if
he's saying this there must be
credibility to it his timeline for the
scrapping of 3d touch is in 2019 as
early as 2019 so next year's iPhone
models might not even have this feature
and to be honest I use it you know in
the trackpad it's a nice feature to have
but so many people out there either
don't use it don't utilize it don't even
know it's it there I will just doesn't
do a very good job I think of making it
clear that that feature is there so they
might be seeing the data that you know
not a lot of people who use it basically
they're coming to the conclusion that it
wouldn't be missed if it was removed so
I'd be sad to see a go it's definitely a
great feature to have on the iPhone if
utilized correctly but maybe iOS 12 will
turn things around for it we'll see new
features being expanded on in 3d touch
so I really do hope that this feature
stays and isn't removed in future
iPhones and by the way the blue that
you're seeing in our concept just wanted
to try this Colorado thought it would be
interesting much like a product red have
a blue version of the iPhone 10 as well
if you remember in the 7 and 7 plus days
it was rumored that they would have come
in a blue color
there were even prototype models that
were leaked in this color so kind of
based off of that kind of interesting we
also have some iowa's 12 screenshots
from the concept by I update OS just
wanted to share those in this concept as
well you can find any full link to that
video in the description there's an
interesting turn of events in the
Qualcomm versus Apple modem battle Apple
originally didn't want to use Qualcomm
modems in their new iPhones this year
because of all the legal battles and the
discrepancies between Intel and Qualcomm
they want to use the same chip in all
but now it looks like they'll have to
use Qualcomm in 30% of the new iPhones
coming later this year as Intel just
isn't meeting the yield rates of their
modems to work in all iPhones about one
and two isn't performing as it should
and did the iPhone se to week take a
look at these pictures apparently
someone has their hands on the SE 2 and
it's leaked out in full glory despite
all of the measures Apple has taken to
stop the leaks from happening this is
not real although I would have liked it
to be because if you take a look at it
looks really cool it's sharing the same
scheme of color with the iPhone 8 and 8
plus that blush gold look the iPhone
text is isolated no FCC labels it looks
very clean and yet it still has a
headphone jack it's just too good to be
true now this is actually a chassis you
can buy online to swap over your 5s or
iPhone se internals and make it look
like an iPhone 8 model so it's not a
real se 2 despite the fact that I would
have liked it to be
but don't end your hope of an iPhone se
2 happening just yet
venya guests can actually tweeted this
not too long ago he's saying that the
iPhone se 2 is in full-blown production
already under the internal codename of
Jaguar and it will have a glass back
with wireless charging other than that
not many details offered he did also say
that this could be the new 6.1 inch
iPhone it wasn't totally clear but it
could also be an iPhone SE 2 there have
been so many conflicting rumors and
reports about the SE 2 and I like to
think that just because there's so much
talk about it it's likely to happen I
mean someone has to be right and
reportedly it's coming next month or
possibly at WWDC now both samsung and
tsmc have just published their quarterly
reports and they're pointing their
finger at Apple as to why their
production is down for both processors
and the wraparound OLED displays they're
saying that Apple's production numbers
just aren't what they expected them to
be and they're suffering as a result so
let's hope that Apple's new strategy
with the naming the cheaper iPhones
works this year and actually increases
the production for all of these
companies involved and kind of
interesting but kind of scary so if you
remember the great key tool used to
brute force into iPhones it can do six
digit passcodes it can do the iPhone 10
even and this is used by law enforcement
some of the code has leaked online and
the actual leaker that was able to
obtain it is extorting the company gray
shift to pay him to
bitcoins worth which is about $18,000
right now so he would stop leaking the
code
so far he's leaked a snippet of it and
he's saying he'll leak the whole thing
although the company says it's not very
dangerous it's not the full code of this
project but still if I were them $18,000
isn't much you know in comparison to how
much customers you'll lose any future
because your source code is being leaked
online so just a random question but do
any of you guys have a zero-day exploit
for the iPhone just laying around
somewhere they're worth three million
dollars now and you start up from the
United Arab Emirates crowd fence is
claiming that they will pay you up to
ten million dollars for a collection of
exploits on Mac OS Windows iOS and
Android depending on which one you have
if you have a 0 click zero day exploit
basically you can do this to anyone's
iPhone without any input from them they
will pay you up to three million dollars
for this exploit in comparison apples
bounty program is paying about two
hundred thousand dollars for this very
same export who do you think the guy
that has this exploit will sell it to a
company that will use this for law
enforcement military application or
Apple who will patch this for the good
of everybody I really feel like Apple
should raise their bounty program
because a lot of these exploits are
ending up in the hands of people like
grey shift which are using them for
malicious things such as accessing your
info when you get arrested and I just
find this one funny like why are
companies doing this Google Microsoft
and Facebook have all made commitments
to change their gun emoji or water it
down into a water gun so it won't be as
offensive and won't look as real I don't
understand why someone educated me on
why they would do this but you know just
kind of interesting that they would do
that following in Apple's footsteps
which did this in iOS 10 so there it is
guys that is the latest stuff latest
iPhone leaks and Apple news stay tuned
for the next one but things are getting
interesting I think we don't have much
in terms of components but there's a lot
of stuff to go off of just these
features and stuff that these iPhones
will have we're trying to work around
that present you with the concepts of
them so stay tuned for any future ones
but this year's iPhone could be called
iPhone thanks for watching guys peace
