OS 12.1.1 Review! Finally Released, Should You Update? #Helpful Post

ey what's up guys I was twelve point
one point one is here after a very long
break Apple is finally back to the
software game honestly I got kind of a
little worried what's going on where
these software updates I usually make
these videos pretty regularly but here
it is I was told point one point one is

out so first update in a while now
inside we do have a pretty formidable
changelog and there's actually some
stuff that's not mentioned here that's
also been changed that I'll cover in
this video so everything you need to
know about this update in one place so
before updating on an earlier build of
twelve point one point one I had six
point one total available after 7.45 so
it did clear out some extra storage for
me you may see that result too let's go
ahead and walk through all those changes
now on the iPhone at ten our model now
when holding using haptic touch you'll
now get haptic notification so you'll
feel that feedback kind of simulating 3d
touch when holding on notifications so
if there were messages then I'd be able
to respond to and get into the quick
reply menu and feel that haptic touch
quite nice and Apple will be adding that
support into many other areas on the
iPhone 10 are in the future and dual-sim
support has officially been activated so
in the actual change log here you'll see
that it's available for the 10 R 10s and
10's Macs and that includes the physical
sim and the e sim function now take note
just because it's supported doesn't mean
all carriers automatically support that
feature it's being rolled out slowly and
within the next few months you should
see all carriers in America at least
support that feature in FaceTime there
is now a very easy one touch flip for
the camera button right there before you
have to dig through the menus to find it
so it's very convenient in general the
interface has been redone just a little
bit made easier to understand here and
you can slide that down during a call
also during an actual FaceTime call you
can take live photos now but it only
works on a one to one call so it's not
gonna work in a group FaceTime and the
other device does have to be an iOS 12
point one point one in order to make
this work as you can see the other
device right now isn't on the iPad in
the news application you now have the
option to hide the sidebar so this
wasn't available before and it's a nice
touch gives you a little bit more room
for
your content here a very tiny change I
mentioned in the beta video Apple
actually made the text and some of the
bubbles on some devices larger on the
passcode screen and on the phone
application so that might be a little
bit easier to discern all the small text
in there the actual watch application
here now details an Apple watch series
for with the slim little LTE band on the
side instead of it being fully colored
in so nice little attention to detail
there and something I've noticed on my
device because it has a broken face ID
module Apple has made it more clear that
your face ID module is broken and needs
repair previously it would just try and
scan over and over and freeze the device
now it gives you that notice and over
here you see this notification that is
broken as well so don't let the small
point release number fool you this is a
quite significant upgrade there are a
ton of changes and bug fixes inside and
I'm sure there's a lot that Apple didn't
include as well security wise it's very
important to update as it did close a
couple very big kernel exploits in iOS
and one of those exploits will make
iowa's 12.1 jailbreak possible or 12
point 0.1 so if you guys want to
jailbreak stay-on 12.1 if you don't care
about that and just want the latest
security go ahead and upgrade to twelve
point one point one so there it is guys
a small updates but it's very mighty so
stay tuned for any future ones we should
be seeing another beta here fairly soon
let's go ahead and run a geek bench and
see what kind of changes are in store
for my device and there's that score
just shy of 11,000 on the multi pretty
normal single core score and this is on
twelve point one so not a very big
difference in their overall performance
feels great you're getting the latest
stability and security improvements so
definitely do update there's no reason
not to unless you're specifically
waiting for the jailbreak so thanks for
watching that's twelve point one point
one I'll keep you updated on any future
beta releases
