WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AT&T EVER AGAIN

WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AT&T EVER AGAIN. Back in May, I originally called to pay off my phone so I can change carriers but was advised by not one but TWO agents that my phone was already paid off and I do not owe anything. They opened a case to get my phone unlocked, which I received an email stating the phone is paid off and unlocked. Thought everything was great until I received a bill stating I still owed $500. Called AT&T and spoke with yet again, not one, but SEVEN agents to figure out why it said I had an unpaid balance. No one had a clear answer. One said, the case never should of been opened to unlock my phone or unlocked in the first place since apparently there was an unpaid balance. Which to my knowledge and every agent who told me, unlocking a phone that has an unpaid balance is IMPOSSIBLE and all the notes on my account, are not reflecting then conversations i had with previous agents. Early July I spoke with a supervisor, who once again told me that it was PAID OFF and the remaining balance was my data plan.... who’s fing data plan is $500?!?!?! Huh?! NOPE, just trying to lie to me. Eventually, he told me he would credit my account and I owed a ZERO balance and I thought my issues were resolved. 2 weeks later, Still unpaid balance on account and spoke to another agent who then told me the supervisor was in the wrong for promising a credit and I’m still liable to pay the unpaid balance. Spoke with yet another supervisor, who told me she would try to credit it but couldn’t then gave me a number to call and said they would credit for me. Here I am, on hold, STILL WAITING FOR MY RESOLUTION that I will probably never get. I will NEVER do business with AT&T EVER AGAIN.

As a member for more than six years

As a member for more than six years, I am frustrated and find AT&T questionable! Recently, I requested to unlock my phone. Unfortunately, I have been calling AT&T for more than four times to simply unlock my phone, yet they have not verified nor completed this task! Since I have paid off my AT&T fees and did not break any of my contract, they should be able to complete my request.

I have been at&t customer around for 8…

I have been at&t customer around for 8 years, last couple years I wasn’t happy how much I have paid for service and a small amount internet they had provide for that price. So, I just was waiting when my plan with AT&T finally finished (I was paying for new phone), and when I can change AT&T for another company. 
In the end of May this year, I changed AT&T to T-mobile. I went to AT&T store and canceled all services with them - my phone and watch. 
For the same price that I have paid AT&T, now with another company, I have unlimited internet in country and abroad. 
But I have noticed in my bank account AT&T continued automatically charge me for full service every month !! I went to the same AT&T store again, where I already had canceled my service and asked what is going on?? 
I’m not your customer for 2 last months and another company is providing me a service. In the store explained me, that I have to call by myself and talk with them. 
I tried many times to reach by call AT&T, but I could not, as I already didn’t had my account with them, that’s automatically voice said me and my native language is Russian it wasn’t easy to talk by phone and understand everything by phone. 
Why we can easy to open account in AT&T store, but why so hard to cancel account when we, customers, want it??
That’s a very hard to make a call AT&T and I prefer to come and talk in office with a real people, who can explain me my bills. But AT&T don’t allowed that right now - that’s said me in AT&T store. I had to ask for help a person who works in the store AT&T to make a call them and request to cancel service again, for second time already, and make me deposits for months, till I stopped being AT&T customer. I spent around 2 hours doing that not nice things. They talk rude. 
How was my surprise, when after that talk by phone AT&T company again made me a final charge !! ! But, I really don’t understand for what again they took money automatically from my account. I didn’t have from AT&T the final bill or some another explanations - nothing! The company can’t charge previous customers if they already left and another company provide a service! 
I’m sure, that’s a premeditation act. I guess many people running away from AT&T and they just want our money. 
I never recommend anybody AT&T. I had the worst attitude and experience in my life.

too expensive. Less data. Once data is over it is useless. it won't work. Better to be in prepaid plan then postpaid. 

I will never ever be in contract with atnt anymore in my life. 

So many inside charge and tax. says 100 dollar for 2 line then after tax and blah blah blah goes up to 180 uff.

The Phone reps have no idea what…

The Phone reps have no idea what services they provide. I've spoken with 3 reps today and none of them have any idea what they're doing. Also, their website is not working right now how can a multi-million dollar company have a website not working ? I hate ATT !!!!!!

They will not quit calling

They will not quit calling. They deny it is a sales call saying its just to let us know what they have. I told them to stop several times and they will not. Each an every person that calls is the rudest person. I can believe anyone would ever buy anything from them. I don't like writing bad reviews, but this time it is very warranted! As a result of their continued calls I would never have AT&T and will go out of my way to dicourage anyone going with them! If they are this rude and nasty I could only imagine what they would be like after they have you hooked on a contract.

Not able to correct all the issues with AT&T after my account was high jacked by crooks.

My AT&T account was hacked on November 3rd 2018. I have been on the phone with AT&T over 80 hours trying to correct all the issues resulting with the stolen identity. The basic support that one receives from the regular 1-800 number serviced by subcontractors is absolutely useless beyond paying the bill or simple questions. They were totally clueless about how to handle a fraud. They did not even know which fraud department to transfer me to or if they were open. There are so many departments for wireless, u-verse, global and combined (unified): fraud, loyalty, billing and none of them completely fixed all the issues from properly cancelling the fraudulent accounts (instead of closing some of them they only suspended them), returning nearly $4,000 in phones purchased by crooks on my name to reinstating my promotion of by one get one Iphone. My promotion has not been restored after nearly 8 months and over 80 hours of communication on the phone with various departments. I have direct lines to certain supervisors who never return my calls after promising they would take care of all the issues. I have called about 20 different phone numbers to various departments. Unified Fraud and Loyalty departments have been the only ones worth calling. Every time I called it took anywhere from 2-4 hours to be transferred to the correct department and explain the situation all over again.

I can't believe the customer service is…

I can't believe the customer service is this poor. I don't really watch TV. And I had Basic TV service with Internet bundle several years ago with auto monthly payment. I got an email today saying my TV service fee will go up to $23 next month, so I had to look up my account on ATT Website - I was shocked there are so little or no resources, anything online services are unavailable or blocked for user. I called three times t customer service and tried to live chat, no one speaks English even and can't understand my questions.. if understood, couldn't answer my simple questions... Such POOR customer service!!! WOW!!! Remarkably, when my Basic TV service turned to U300 multiple channels WHEN? I have been paying this money??? Is this Scam? THE MOST WORST SERVICE IN PLANET. SERIOUS FRAUD!!!
