show you exactly that but before we talk

there are two sites we're going to look
at today and the first one being rover
comm and the second one being wag
walking comm and with these two sites
you can help out other people's dogs
that just needs a little extra care and
you will get paid depending on how much
time you spend with the dogs also like
where you live so if you're absolutely
loved dogs you get paid to walk these
cute animals around and the more you do
it the more you earn and I mean this
isn't really hard work so you can get
paid to do something you love so we're
going to look at each of these sites
today and we're going to look at how
much you can actually make doing this so
here we are on Rover comm and Rover is
the site with the most options of what
you can do like you see here dog
boarding house sitting dropping visits
doggy daycare and dog walking as the wag
Walker only has walking so you can't do
anything else then just walk the dogs
but we're gonna look at how much you can
make with doing all these sorts of tasks
and let's just go in here and type in a
city I'm just gonna use Austin Texas for
an example the prices will shift from
wherever you live but we're gonna do
this as an example a medium-sized dog
let's just search so as you can see now
we're on dog boarding and this is for if
you're going on a vacation you can hand
your dog over to a sitter and she can or
she or he can sit your dog while you're
out in another city and on vacation and
so forth so as you can see here it's
pretty decently paid like this one has
just twenty twenty-one reviews and forty
per night thirty per night and the
competition is obviously going to be you
need to try and keep it a little bit
lower than what the others are doing so
you can get the jobs and especially in
the beginning you should have a really
low price because we need those reviews
because the reviews is going to be the
number one convince err for anyone to
choose you so if you have a lot of
reviews let's just check here and see if
we can see some reviews so as you can
see here did an amazing job so you need
people like this to write on your page
and on your profile because this is
gonna convince the people way much more
than price because people love their
dogs people absolutely love their dogs
some think their dogs are their kids
which are not but I can see why some
people think that so you absolutely need
to have this sort of testimonial type
review it's very important so start off
if you're doing this start off with a
very low price rack up those reviews
because the more reviews you get the
more you get paid and then you can ramp
up the price after you get some reviews
but I was a little sidetracked right
there let's do how sitting so this is in
your home so people will come to your
house and sit there and just take care
of your dogs so it's kind of like a
nanny for your dog trapping visits and
let's see here the prices are kind of
high
and you can get paid quite well if
you're just house-sitting someone starts
dropping visits 30-minute check-ins
you'll get paid $15 17 16 15 so around
16 17 dollars let's say doggy daycare
while you're at work so you can have
doggy daycare while you're at work and
it gets pretty pricey here as well dog
walking let's see 15 16 19 right here
and it's all good so as you can see
there are many things that you can do
and depending on what you want to do you
can do all these things and try and make
some income with this now how do you
become a sitter you just go up in the
top here and you can just get started
sign up with Facebook I'm just gonna do
this real quick so this is what you need
to tell them account information
services and rates so this is what you
want to do and how much you want to pay
or how much you want to get paid the
sitter profile your dogs and the
calendar which you're available
so that's pretty much Rover you can also
sign up other people like your friends
to become a walker or sit or something
like that and you get $20 which is cool
so let's take a look at where Walker and
this is the website and the thing with
wag Walker is that they have asset
pricing so I've already checked this and
prices for Austin is you have like a
walk and then you have a deluxe walk
which is probably you make the dog sit
on a pedestal and you have four guys
having like a the throne on their
shoulders and your dog feels like a king
add a dog don't know what that is but
let's just check out the prices here
Seattle
I don't know if it changes in San
Francisco is it's more expensive Chicago
so it's pretty much around $20 for most
of the walking York it looks like San
Francisco bare area is the most
expensive so I actually made an account
with a fake address and right now I'm in
Austin Texas once again and like you see
here you can see on a map where the
closest sitter is or Walker is so right
here you can see all the reviews and
they don't have a price mainly because
they have a flat fee of what you need to
pay that's basically it when it comes to
walk walking it it isn't that much to
talk about but how you become a wag
Walker well I just googled because the
website was horrible they have an app
they have an app where you can actually
become a dog walker and I think you can
do that through the application and
let's see here if there's something
interesting you can just start the
application I'm not gonna download the
app right now what does it take to walk
with wag experience passion and trust
and this is very important right here
the previous pet care experience is a
big plus for becoming a wag and
demonstrating passion and commitment to
quality animal care is a huge
consideration Trust is a critical
characteristic to become a dog walker
with wag and they have some testimonials
right here of people walking dogs with
wag so that's the two sites and I'm
gonna show you some earning potentials
here so and by no means a top dog sitter
or Walker in the area but I made around
600 so far this year I watched about two
dogs a month for three to four days each
I've read prices aren't very nice in my
area compared to other places so that's
cool I do it on weekends I make 60 a
weekend on slow weeks two dogs two walks
on both Saturday and Sunday I make up to
360 a week demand would be higher in the
city I think I said dogs more than I
walk and so far this year I've made 2k
working on the weekends so it's quite a
nice sum of money for doing little work
so it's a pretty good gig when you want
to make some money on the side apart
from your job and walking and sitting
dogs it's quite fun and doesn't take
that much effort to do so that's going
to be the end of this video I really
hope that summer you actually go through
with this and become a dog sitter dog
