let's get directly into this we're gonna
go over the three main mistakes that
people make when they are brand new
beginners drop shipping on Shopify and
how to avoid those mistakes so that you
can start making money faster so you can
free yourself from the 9 to 5 grind
mistake number one focusing on the wrong
thing I see it again and again where
people will spend weeks or even months
trying to make their store absolutely
perfect in every way with all their
pop-ups all the descriptions everything
looking beautiful and succinct and then
literally takes them weeks or months to
do that when that time can be so much of
better than you guys do not spend your
time weeks or even months creating the
perfect Shopify store until you have
proven that those products are possible
and capable and probable of being sold
on Shopify there are some things that
you can sell on top of I and them some
things that you cannot sell on Shopify
an understanding the difference is going
to pay huge dividends think about it
from your own perspective most of your
sales when you when you sell things on
top if I are going to come from Facebook
or Instagram ads if you're scrolling
through your own Instagram in your own
Facebook and you see an ad think about
it for yourself what are you likely to
click on people simply do not buy
certain things from paid advertisements
on Instagram and Facebook no one in a
million years is going to click on an ad
for toilet paper on Facebook's growing
through their Facebook feed right they
might click on an ad for toilet paper
with Donald Trump's face on it for
example because it's a novelty gift it's
something that you could give a friend
you know if you guys have
feelings about things but no one is
going to kind of buy those consumable
type everyday products from a Facebook
ad so understanding what you can
actually sell via paid advertisement and
what you cannot is going to pay huge
dividends as to picking the right
product so focusing on what matters is
the first huge mistake that I see people
make spending weeks or months trying to
make their store perfect without
realizing that what they're actually
should be spending their time on is
testing as many products as they
possibly can until they find the right
one because every single time you test a
new product and you get a facebook
advertising some audience set up and you
get everything kind of going and moving
with your Facebook Ads you're gonna
learn a ton about what's working and
what's not you're gonna learn more and
more about how to actually properly
target your audience and you're going to
figure out most importantly whether or
not that particular product works as a
Shopify product so don't spend a bunch
of time creating a store and making
everything perfect without proving that
the product that you are actually going
to sell or the niche of full of products
are actually going to sell on your
Shopify store is actually a viable store
option mistake number two that I see
people make all the time is not
understanding where they're actually
getting their traffic from I see people
trying to build out sites and trying to
do SEO and getting them ranked in Google
this simply does not work as well and as
fast and as efficiently as it used to
before recent google updates spending
your time instead of trying to get your
site ranked on SEO or you know get your
site actually to appear organically in
search 99% of the traveling that I Drive
to my Shopify stores comes from two
places social media and paid traffic so
getting yourself an Instagram page
getting yourself a Facebook page
properly kind of creating those to get
you know at least some organic traffic
is important if somebody sees your brand
or hears about you or sees one of your
paid advertisements and wants to learn
more about you
they might type your brand into Facebook
or Instagram to learn more about it if
you have that brand presence you are
going to be able to get sales and then
having the actual link to your Shopify
site in your Facebook page in any
Facebook group in your Instagram bio is
so key because you're going to bring
more and more organic traffic to your
site understanding that paid traffic
accounts for probably 95% of the traffic
that I Drive to my Shopify stores is so
vital guys I see people all the time who
talk about not wanting to spend money on
advertisements if you are going to spend
money on advertisements you aren't going
to be successful with Shopify it's just
as simple as that people who understand
that paying for advertisements is not an
expense it's actually additional profit
in your pocket those are the people who
are successful on Shopify the people who
understand that you know at for every
one dollar that I spend on a Facebook ad
I'm making two dollars in profit back or
three dollars and crop it back or five
dollars in profit back and that means
the more I spend on Facebook the more
profit I make so working towards getting
your Facebook advertising campaigns
where they're unbelievably profitable
and scalable is the sooner you
understand that advertising is not an
expense it's actually additional profit
the sooner that your Shopify store is
going to start exploding and the more
products that you're actually testing
right in the more products if you prove
successful the more Facebook advertising
campaigns you can make and the more
Facebook advertising campaigns that you
make that are profitable the more money
that you're actually putting into your
bottom line and into your overall
Shopify profit mistake number three that
I make is people trying to do everything
all at once and I know this is kind of a
general one and I try to stay very
tangible and very specific kind of with
you know actionable advice but I just
wanted to emphasize how important it is
to understand that if you get
overwhelmed you won't do anything don't
let yourself suffer from decision
paralysis
focus on one goal from the very onset of
your Shopify dropshipping career and
that is to get one sale guys because the
most difficult sale by far a hundred
times is the very first sale so have a
singular laser focus when you begin your
Shopify journey as a beginner only thing
on your mind there's one thing and that
is to get your very
first sale and the way that you do that
is by testing a lot of products and by
testing a lot of marketing campaigns and
I promise you guys if you do not give up
and you test products you know doing
your proper due diligence using the
methods that I teach in the Shopify
ninja master class to find home run
products they exist guys there's
products out there that are making
hundreds and hundreds of thousands and
millions of dollars for people every
single day you just have to understand
the tactics and the strategies to find
those products and once you find them
you have to test the absolute heck out
of them via facebook marketing campaigns
and the final mistake that I see people
make again and again and again and it
kills me is not properly utilizing
analytics and what I mean by this guys
is if you don't understand what a
Facebook pixel is and what Google
Analytics
is you are costing yourself thousands
and thousands of dollars every single
day that you don't have it properly set

types of things that you can tell from
Google Analytics and a Facebook pixel
