what's up YouTube this is Ryan Childress
here with my buddy Tanner Foss and today
we're going to show you how to use Tai
Lopez's social media marketing agency
program to make money outside of social
media using Facebook advertisements so
we're going to take you on our journey
and Tanner is going to explain to you a
little bit about what we're doing so
what we're doing is called
affiliate marketing and what that is is
pretty much doing sales for other
businesses who have products or services
and you can they can be promoted through
email but we're going to focus mainly on
Facebook advertising to promote these
other businesses offers and in doing so
we get paid either per sale per call we
get them per lead we get them per signup
depends on the offers but we'll show you
on our screen and we'll take you guys
through everything we're doing yep so
we're going to jump to the screen I'm
going to show you which affiliate
network that I got approved for first
and then you know how to start off
building your page and everything like
that and before we get started if you

alright so we're here on my Facebook
page where I have you know multiple
pages my for word revenue media my rhein
hildreth you know public figure page but
we're going to go down here and create a
new page so we're going to go to create
and then depending on what
you know you're probably going to be
with affiliate marketing you're probably
going to be marketing a product for
someone if we go over here to my max
bounty account you see I want to do this
you know this pet food is organic pet
food that you know with every sale I get
twenty four dollars per sale the network
epc their earnings per click is five
cents so for every hundred clicks I'm
probably going to earn around an average
of five cents and then they give you an
affiliate code so how do we market this
social media is approved for this so
we're going to use utilize Facebook
advertisements like we learned in the
Tai Lopez social media marketing agency
course like through Joe Soto
we're going to use that to you know
generate sales on a Facebook page using
that affiliate link so we're going to go
here to brand new product right yes
right neck or inner product for my I
mean for mine I put public figure and
for my agency I put local business Phil
but we're going to go choose category
and then we're going to do plug hats
supplies brand product or name-o for
this you want something that reliable
found legitimate looks like a real page
so for example I had a skin care one and
I called it doctors skin care news so it
looks legit most people when they see a
facebook ads they won't even click on
your page to check you out so just click
the link in it and take you sort of
takes them straight to your ad and I
mean so for something like Tessa's we
could do I was thinking healthy pup that
works you like to ask that yeah healthy
body general but I'm in our niche and
sounds legitimate yeah does that fun
Lajoie with you yeah healthy bucks okay
let's do healthy pups because you know
like I think dog owners want their dogs
obviously be healthy and I'm kind of
I'm selling a organic dog food so let's
do healthy pups so we're going to get
started
healthy pups all right and here's my
page so now obviously we're going to
have to add pictures and for that we're
going to go to you know pixels calm and
add those types of you know search up
dog proto's we can go right now
pixels you have a different NIU's that
also use faculty well okay to get dogs
in tons tons of I would pick you know
maybe a cute little puppy so what I
would do is for what kind of picture
recusing I would choose whatever is the
most popular dog so I'm pretty sure its
Golden Retriever or a lab but we can do
our research on Google's figure that out
that way we appeal to the masses mostly
and making relate if they have that kind
of dog I'm pretty sure it's going
Retriever so let's see most popular dog
is easy Oh forever
well that's in 2015 yeah good enough
okay alright so let's do retrievers so
we'll get it with that let's do a gold
reducer okay golden retrievers are third
ranked third okay on last I'm sorry a
lab so like a black lab or this is where
we will spend smarter at I was gonna say
we could split test and see which comes
out better but let's just go because I
don't think many people are going to
click on our page but this is the image
our profile image will pop up on the add
somewhere yeah maybe if we could get a
picture of a dog eating that is that
kind of dope I might not be better since
it's a dog food of our brand all right
all right so we found Lee finally have
found those photos took forever pixels
didn't quite have the photos we wanted
so we just you know went on the Google
search and found some cute photos of
dogs eating and then we I threw those
into canva and I went to under canva you
can go to you click a little plus
and over here and it'll take you to you
search facebook cover and then it'll
resize this photo for you well you have
to adjust it but it'll download as the
facebook cover size so I did that and
voila we have the Facebook page healthy
pups what are we going to do next dinner
we're going to float a little bit of a
information on the page mainly just the
bio in case people do come look at our
page before they click on our ad okay
which usually most people don't again
but just in case trooper what about the
start date does this know the only thing
we're going to fill out is the short
description okay so we we supply and
supply natural organic dog food to

gluten free dog food that's what that's
what it said look we're swimming yeah we
explain a chiral natural grain free and
gluten free dog food to keep your pup
healthy ganic dog food to keep your pup
healthy boom up going boom alright there
we go with the page set up now and we're
going to go in to show you a little bit
about our offer that we chose and then
maybe some of our facebook ads that
we're going to run and how we're going
to set it up okay perfect
for some reason I got rid of the cover
page that we no no I tried again
I don't think you did you know it did
yes ah come on such an ear okay so don't
forget to save your photo okay what are
we doing next now let's show them a
little bit about the offer and why we
chose this one to start okay so should
we go - let's go max pounding okay so
first off what max bounty is is an
affiliate network and what that means is
they have a whole bunch of affiliate
offers that you can promote but in order
to get accepted to an affiliate network
like Max bounty you have to do a phone
interview it's super simple they just
ask what experience do you have and how
are you going to promote our offers we
said we took a course and learning a lot
about Facebook advertising and up and
using it pretty new to affiliate
marketing and we're going to promote
your offers through Facebook Ads
they said okay you're all good all right
so so basically they approve you you
call they approve and then this would be
your dashboard to where you can choose
from tons of different types of products
to offer on your Facebook advertisements
or whatever page you want to create you
know they have a vaporizer they have you
know some travel booking flight booking
stuff if you go to top campaigns they
have let's see max car loan Nutrisystem
tons of different types of offers
you know thousand dollar Visa Card tons
of different offers I chose the dog food
because it just kind of interested me
I do love dogs I've never had I've never
owned a dog my grandparents always had
one but I love I love dogs and dander
has a couple dogs so okay so now what
are we gonna show them how we're going
to set up a Facebook ad okay so our full
goal with this obviously is to spend the
least amount of money on ads and get the
most amount of sales possible from those
at so how will do this is we'll run
multiple as
the same thing so we're going to have
five or six ads to begin with just for
the dog food you know they're going to
be low paying per day but we're going to
have different demographics so you can
target different age ranges different
genders purchase habits etc so we'll
test one ad against all those
demographics see which so let's say
we've tested all age ranges and 25 to 35
females are the ones who buy the most
we'll delete our other campaigns is that
test purchase behavior so 25 to 35 year
old females who have purchased pet
products online before you can do that
and also like a certain page so whatever
one's of those convert best we keep
those put more money into it and then
we'll go and test different ads against
each other so we'll go see does this one
picture convert better does this
headline and we'll spend five dollars a
days to see which converts better or
what our click-through rate is so if we
spend five dollars and we get eight
clicks and when we spend five dollars
and get 12 clicks we're going to keep
this one yep and then we delete the
other one and then just continue until
we find our perfect demographic and the
best ad yep definitely okay okay so when
you're ready to run your ad and you have
that you want to prepare that ad you're
going to go here to this tab right here
then go to create ads and it's going to
bring you to your ad manager account and
this is we're going to you're going to
run all your ads you're going to test
your ads and this is this is the account
that Joe Soto showed you in the in the
program on where you're going to do most
of your work so all right so we're we're
going to click traffic traffic we want
traffic because we have an affiliate
link that we're promoting so we just
want you know the most clicks on this
link and we'll name this one what's the
doctor's name
the dog's food name naked okay so guys
I'd only get jumped up what a good name
okay so that's our camel and then that's
all good okay good really good US
dollars times
oan continue now here is where we choose
our demographic and so we can test so
we'll test pretty broad to begin with
with ages eighteen to sixty five-plus
will do will do men and women and I'll
usually like to pick a page or two to
test and then we'll run the ads and it
will give us information of what
demographic clicks on it most so like at
the Ford age twenty five thirty five
females pizanno most we then make it ads
with that and test different ads against
that different pages that people like
different behaviors so we're only going
to do the United States for this one
okay we'll leave it 18 to 65 do we want
to do website or app of website or
messenger okay that's more if you want
to add a pixel in which tracks things
behind the scenes okay
since our affiliate counts already does
that we're not going to set up a
Facebook pixel yeah this is so language
we don't really need to enter it's going
to be English anyway system in the
United States so for details targeting
this is where the Tai Lopez course comes
in handy with the Facebook advertising
link yeah so let's say we go do some
research figure out what are others big
dog food competitors for us maybe ones
that are organic or natural yep and then
we target those pages maybe some buying
behaviors but we're going to start broad
maybe test will make this ad three or
four copies of this testing different
pages that people like yeah and only
spending five dollars a day on each ad
just to get us enough information for
maybe a week yep and then we can really
hammer down I'm trying to convert the
actual app but imaging the headline of
the buyer all right guys so what we're
going to do now is create multiple
different ads that we're going to test
against each other to begin so we just
did some research on other big pet
brands or food brands for dogs so we
found we found Purina one Petco Blue
Buffalo and taste of the wild those were
pretty much the biggest ones we check
this through Google's eyes
basically went on Amazon and check the
top sellers for dog food and those were
some of the ones that came up so those
are what we're going to target so on
each separate ad we're going to have
four different ads what we're going to
go to is go to detail targeting and find
their Facebook page so first one is will
do is Purina one right here 1 million
five hundred forty three thousand people
and now we're just going to leave that
because we want to start broad and test
it out the only other thing we're going
to do and we're going to do this on all
four of the separate ads is we're going
to go down here and we're going to go
narrow audience we're then going to
click browse behaviors scroll down to
purchase behaviors all the way down to
pet pet products and then people who
have bought dog food and products you
can see has 33 million people so this ad
right here is going to target everyone
in the United States 18 to 65 any gender
who likes the page Purina One and have
bought dog food or products online
before now we're not going to add a
connection type or anything but we can
see our audience selection is fairly
broad which is kind of what we want to
start where is our reach our potential
Reach is 270,000 now that's kind of what
you want to see for your first ads of
test I usually like under a million and
at least 75,000 people that way you can
gather enough data so this is perfect
right here so to finish this ad we're
going to click Edit placements because
we are optimizing our listing or our ads
for Facebook specifically so we don't
want to be seen on Instagram and we also
don't want to be seen on audience
networks which is just other websites
off set off of Facebook and let's
sometimes it does
we're sure to use those okay here we go
so I don't like being on the right
column or on instant articles either
I like being okay so it's forcing us to
use audience networks with it's fine' I
only like to be seen on the Facebook
feed so if you look if you click on your
Facebook feed you will normally see one
post maybe two and then there will be a
sponsored one in that so that's the only
place we're showing us is on your feet
and then one thing we can play with in
the future we're going to leave it alone
for now is we're doing all devices right
now a lot of times mobile will be the
way to go it's a lot higher converting
most of the time over and goes almost 50
percent of purchases in 2016 we're made
off of mobile devices so not computers
more like phones and tablets so that's
on the rise so that's going to be
something to test in the future but
again starting out very broad we're
going to make our budget five dollars a
day since we're going to run this for
about five days just to give us
information if we get a sale great but
we don't that's fine we're just getting
as much information as we can to then
make a better ad in the future so we
will leave the daily budget we want to
do life time at all we're not going to
schedule it we're going to start it
right away and we're going for link
clicks here it's optimized for that
which is what we want and for all this
we're going to leave right here it's
what we want and then we will click
continue and it will let us set up our
actual ads nap so for this we're going
to do a single image and then we'll
normally go find an image this one not
on Google use pixels and we're
advertising with it we shouldn't use
Google Images
so we'll go find one on pixels maybe
write a little bit of text on it be a
little bit salesy will show you an
example that in a little in our part two
we'll be creating the ad and the
headline and everything so if you want

creating ads and optimizing and
