today is a very exciting day I
incorporated my business at the
beginning of January and it's literally
taken 30 plus days to get my
incorporation book you know my business
certificate my ein taxe papers all that
you what going through Legal Zoom looks
like and I'm going to also show you on
my computer how to incorporate your
business because I've been getting tons
of questions about this if you have more
questions at the end of this video
either comment or you could schedule

where you can schedule call and you can
go about that way but here is what my
booklet looks like so came in this box

reason I did a Holdings company is
because I have a few businesses that I'm
deviating under my holdings company so
basically you know comes with this and
what's I think the best part that was
the most exciting part was this seal
seal maker so what that is as you look
closely maybe we'll zoom it in let's see
so as you can see you can get a seal
made with your business name ones are H
capital Holdings LLC pretty cool pretty
official and we have the obviously the
American Express credit card you can
also they give you if you go through
LegalZoom they give you a good deal you
apply now you earn an extra $250 towards
your business so we're gonna jump on my
computer and I'm gonna show you how to
do it I'm gonna we're gonna jump on my
computer and I'm gonna show you how to
walk through the process what
package I got and kind of walk you
through that and then if you have any

I'm gonna walk you through how to
incorporate your business through
LegalZoom the reason I did it through
LegalZoom is because I didn't want to do
it the old-school way I've done that
before for a previous business when I
was younger and it literally took three
months to get my papers because I had to
submit it to Sacramento to the state and
they just take forever to get back and
also LegalZoom provides you with that
nice that nice booklet that I showed you
and I seal Stamper all your papers and
documents that you need and they also
have a calendar on your site on your
login that will show you throughout the
year all the compliances that you need
to follow up with all the documents you
have to submit I think there's like
three or four throughout the year that
you have to submit you also have to do a
board meeting which is I think is pretty
funny because I mean I'm the only
employee of my company but I do still
have to do a board meeting and you have
to document that as well it's pretty
funny but uh yeah so I just did it
through LegalZoom real easy so you go to
legalzoom.com so if you go to start your
business and form an LLC if you want
your personal assets separate from your
business I went with an LLC because
that's what I wanted I wanted my
personal assets separate from my
business
you go to LLC form your LLC and then
you'll click on that and it'll go right
here you could start your LLC for 149
plus fees I'll show you the packages you
have your economy which is 149 plus
state filing fee and a 30-day business
turnaround that that's probably an
average it might take 35 to 40 days I
know that the economy package doesn't
include there's something that
include I think it's uh let's see what
it is your doesn't include your company
seal and binder that's one thing that I
wanted it doesn't include your
customized membership certificates which
I wanted as well just in case I'm
planning on hiring someone your federal
tax ID discounted and expedited okay
it's a that's not included in the
standard either but I wanted that nice
company seal and binder to keep
everything keep everything consolidated
I needed those certificates I want
everything consolidated and I wanted a
faster turnaround time so I I went with
the standard which is $289 plus state
filing fees which came out too close to
four hundred dollars it did take 30 days
for mine to come so if you do get the
economy because you want to save some
money it's double this time I would say
it's gonna take two months if you can't
wait and you really need to incorporate
right now I would go with the Express
gold you're gonna get
everything's expedited so it's gonna
come in seven to ten business days maybe
double that maybe fifteen to twenty and
you're gonna get the whole deal but I
went with the standard so you could just
press get started and right here where
are you forming your business I talked
to my business attorney and he
recommended that I incorporate in the
state of California because there's very
stringent tax laws and I didn't want to
have to I know Thai says to incorporate
in a different state like Delaware
Nevada I didn't want to have to deal
with paying double taxes in both states
I'm doing all my business in California
so I register in California and then you
put your email address continue and
pretty much just walk through that it's
gonna ask for all your personal
information you know how many owners do
you want is it just you your tax setup
business set up and then you just place
your order and what's nice about
LegalZoom is they're gonna contact you
and they're gonna ask you to fill out
certain forms for them and keep you up
to date
they're also gonna reach out with an
accountant you have one free tax return
with that accountant and you know
they're gonna try to upsell you on some
other stuff but I mean they're very
helpful they keep a calendar to where
you can you know see what you're what
you need to file throughout the year and
it's just really consolidated and
professional and organized that's why I
use Legal Zoom I'm very responsible I
have to keep everything consolidated
clean neat that's how I like to do
business so I hope that this video
