FACEBOOK ADVERTISING RESULTS ARE IN!!!

before we jump into the Facebook
advertising I did the other day for the
affiliate affiliate marketing I want to
go over the results of that but Before
we jump into that I want to talk about

advertising results so I can show you
how to utilize this for small clients
small business owners that you're
managing their social media as well as
maybe a business that you own as well so
let's jump into that alright so we're
here on my Facebook page let's go to our
ad manager account to see the results of
the healthy pop organic dog food that we
were running an ad to for an affiliate
marketing link let's go and see all

and the results are in
they were horrible guys horrible results
unfortunately this ad didn't work very
well ok let's let's review let's kind of
recap what we did so our audience
potential reach was a hundred and eighty
thousand people okay so that was our
potential reach kind of it's kind of
narrow so we reached out to people that
had purchasing behaviors for Petco
Purina one and then two other dog foods
two other popular dog foods and that was
not very broad I think looking at now we
should have had our our reach set out to
two million to anywhere from two million
to 15 million people that would have
gotten us more clicks more results we
were only reaching out to one hundred
and eighty thousand people with which
facebook said was broad but it's not
very broad I think I think we could have
done much better so we're going to me
and Tanner are going to redo this ad and
we're going to give you those results as
well we're going to run that probably
tomorrow I'm meeting up with him
so we'll do that but let's just look at
what happened so we spent a total of
twelve dollars which costed us a
cost-per-click
was a dollar oh six which is super high
as you can see on this traffic generated
this campaign I'm doing right now I'm
generating twenty two cents per click I
reached out to eighteen hundred people
got fifty one clicks for the naked dog
we reached out to 1400 people and only
got 12 clicks which is a very high cost
so after a day and a half of running
that we shut it off if you if you want
to be successful with running ad
campaigns for whether it's a small
business you're managing their social
media or you're doing affiliate
marketing or you're marketing your own
product you're going to want to shut off
that ad so you don't continue to
money on something that's not working 12
link clicks is not very good cost per
click was $1 oh six that wasn't good at
all so in our next campaign either if we
stick with this product or we try
different products we're going to go
definitely broader we're going to stick
between 2 million to 20 million people
because we want a little bit broader
range so that people are checking out
people are clicking if you go to
breakdown I'll go to I can go to region
or actually age and gender so for the
naked dog we did primarily females right
between 25 and 45 and we noticed that
age ranges between 25 and 40 for 25 and
34 got the most clicks as well as the
reach so that was something to notice
also let's see region this is also
helpful because after you run an ad this
sorry this is the ad that I'm currently
running you see all the states that are
getting so what I'm going to do with
this ad is finally find the states that
are doing the best like California
Florida right right here Massachusetts
and I'm going to just I'm going to
redirect this ad to primarily those
states so that I can get the most bang
for my buck but for the naked dog let's
see how we did there see we got the most
views from Alabama but no one clicked
Arkansas got two clicks California got
one click which is very surprising I
thought California was going to be the
most our reach is going to be the most
so maybe maybe we retarget this ad to
specific state as well as broaden our
reach within those states so maybe we
add more pet companies maybe dog lovers
interests and behaviors such as like yet
dog lovers a dog owner we didn't do that
so I think that's something that
you need to look at when we run our next
ad and we'll give you those results but
this is just to give you an idea of you
know it's not going to it might not work
the first time it might take a few tries
and you have to make sure that your
broad enough between 2 million and 20
million people but you're also specific
in who you're targeting and what states
you're targeting and which states are
going to generate the most clicks for
you so we're going to redo this ad kind
of jump into that in the next video to
give you an update let me clear all the
breakdowns but yeah as you can see you
know this current ad that I'm running is
doing very well
22 cents per click which is fairly low
so this is this is some results that you
do want to be getting 22 cents per click
is great video views we might do maybe
as possible video for the naked dog
organic dog food because videos were
getting to pennies are two cents per
view and look at that 621 views to reach
3,000 people for only $15 so we're going
to redo this and we're going to show you
on the next video when Tanner comes over
we're going to you know create a new
audience and run that ad and give you
those results so that you can follow
along and you can run the same ad if you
want the same exact dog food you know
and just kind of mimic what we're doing
or you can take what we're teaching you
our mistake and you can apply those to
your own Facebook advertisements for the
small businesses you're managing whether
it be your own business or you know a
local jeweler or local dog shop you know
you can apply these concepts and learn
from our mistakes so you don't have to
lose any money you can just you can
already have you can use the audience's
that the successful audiences that we're
using and just mimic us if you want so I
