all right we're gonna talk about what
are we talking about today starting an
LLC do you need one to do one investing
with Ryan or to do Amazon FBA with me
that's true I've gotten that a lot of
people asking like do I even need an LLC
and I did a video on how to start it
LegalZoom but I don't know what what do
you think
I think legally if you want to do
business with you know if you're doing
the social media marketing agency and
you want to build your agency and
working with small businesses they can
pay you as an independent contractor I
guess without an LLC but you're gonna
have to pay taxes on all that income so
you might as well incorporate and get
the tax benefit of that I don't know
yeah and I mean if you're doing the
social media if you're doing FBA like me
you want to protect yourself as much as
possible because right now if you don't
know C and let's say you're operating as
like a business without an LLC if
something goes wrong let's say you're
doing social media and you do something
and everyone's a brand's reputation or
something messes up they can come and
sue you and you could lose everything
you own from that lawsuit they can
probably show you for a couple hundred
thousand if not million two million
which is LLC helps separate you from
your business so if I got sued as an LLC
my whatever assets might and money my
business have I could lose those but as
far as like my house and personal assets
I couldn't lose those as a business yeah
yeah I could only and that's also where
for certain things you would need
liability insurance so for like song on
Amazon I've never been sued I mean don't
here and a half and do a ton of
volume but I have it just in case the
price I pay for insurance for a
liability insurance for my products if I
get sued once over the next 20 years
doing this it will pay for itself
because it's gonna be 50 a hundred
thousand dollars for a lawyer and all
the lawsuits and stuff and if I get sued
ones and even if I win yeah I think the
thing most people are focusing too much
on the short term right there focusing
on the short term gain monetary gain
which you know it's nice to have that
monetary gain but if you're focusing on
a long term business you're gonna be
more profitable you know over time if
you incorporate instead of just working
as an independent contractor let's talk
about Jim Gates I don't even know if our
channels into that Jim Gaines I mean I'm
down to make some Jim videos maybe some
fitness nutrition I have the
certifications for those two me and
Tanner anyone's interested me and Tanner
have been into fitness for a long time
now East about seven years what about
you five five yeah well I got four years
on you as far as age guys yeah grandpa
my flame broiler knowledge knowledge
we're gonna go

like lighter a lot quieter buddy you
gotta get some exhaust I'll just get the

well that's also something to talk about
too like I think you know investing and
how we started off for me and I was a
bartender and I saved up a crap ton of
money and invested it all in the stock
market I literally just went all-in I
invested half into my trading account
and the other half into long-term
investments that pay me dividends every
year so that account is just growing
every year
you know consistently so then I used
trading money to obviously make
short-term income but I don't know
Tanner would what was your story
I guess starting when I was younger when
I was like 10 to 12 I was an actor but
mostly just an extra which is just the
background people but for a day of
acting when you're that young they pay
you about 120 bucks a day to be there
from like 6 a.m. to 3 or 4 good lunch
break but 120 bucks a day couple times a
week for a year - when you're younger
it's pretty nice yeah I think I got it
like $2,000 from that and then obviously
worked nine-to-five a little bit not 95
sorry we're part time jobs for a little
bit saved up and then invested probably
half my bank account in my first product
on Amazon which was about $1,500 and
then just reinvested all my profits and
grew to where I am now I mean all the
money I have now came from that initial
$1,900 investment
and I was reinvesting all profits nice
yeah for me I saved up like six grand I
think when I was bartending was I was
getting paid pretty well
so I started but yeah I guess like six
grand
I started earlier before that and I I
blew up an account
I saw it lost literally all of my $2,000
because I thought trading penny stocks
was the way to go and I didn't buy a big
drop I didn't know what I was doing I'd
be in this Lane
either gonna do a poem okay cool but
yeah I mean you could start off doing
anything you know the tutoring app that
I did a video on that was wise ant that
was a great source of income I mean you
could sell stuff on the offer up I don't
know you just got to get that first
initial initial capital to start off
right dad what you once you do if you're
investing if you're doing the Amazon
thing once you get your first sale or
once you make money for the first time
it's like stock market you're like oh my
god this can actually work for me this
could change my life and then you stick
to and work at it and then you probably
will fail a couple times I've failed two
or three times before I was successful
and I'm assuming he lost $2,000 same
thing
have you ever told him the story if
you're tutoring heaven ha there's that
part later on I did I did make a video
previously it was called the best app to
make money on her iPhone and yeah
tutoring I was crazy I didn't think I
was charging people $40 an hour
so we should ask the channel would you

fitness or nutrition videos or maybe
lifestyle what a day in life of an
entrepreneur who's already just like or
maybe car videos or anything yeah
supplies to my channel and Ryan's it's
probably gonna go up on both yep but
