today we're going to talk about how to
close a social media marketing client
for $2,000 a month retainer or whatever
retainer you plan to have them on this
is going to be part two of how to close
a social social media marketing agency
client I know the first video we went
into open-ended questions how to lead
them into your packages right how to get
them into the conversation of actually
them asking you about what you do we
talked about the right questions like
right now how many customers per week do
you usually get from your Yelp
advertising or from your newspaper
advertising right those types of
questions then you lead them into them
asking you what how are you going to get
us more exposure more leads right so you
ask those questions then you then you
complement them by telling them you know
that's fine what you're doing is totally
fine most of my clients actually use
Yelp advertising but I want to make sure
that your dollars are being utilized for
advertising correctly and I want to make
sure that you're able to track every
single dollar you spend on advertising
and who it's reaching right how many
people were reaching and I'm gonna I'm
going to be able to show you that data
with the Facebook advertising data so I
can pull this data and send it to you at
the end of the week or at the end of the
day whatever you'd like and I'm going to
show you how many people that I'm able
to reach for your business then they're
going to ask you okay well how are you
going to be able to do this and then you
obviously tell them about your packages
you tell them you're going to manage
their social media posts for them 30
days out of the month every day you're
going to include your in your basic
package what I include is you know
complete social media management all the
channels Facebook Instagram YouTube I'll
make one YouTube video for them Twitter
and then I will you know post for them
30 days out of the month then
we'll run one unique Facebook
advertising campaigns ten to twelve days
out of the month and I'll have them pay
for the advertising budget which I
recommend anywhere from $100 to $300 in
advertising but once you get them on
that you tell them how much your package
is and what I've gotten most of the time
is that they when I tell them it's
$1,000 a month they immediately you know
get kind of tense and they're like wow
that's that's kind of a lot right and
I'm going to show you how to land the
client
despite their reaction okay because this
is going to get their skin in the game
right so what you're going to do is
offer this is the gold strategy this is
how I close most of my clients this is
how I close them I tell them you know
what that's totally fine I understand
$1,000 seems like a lot right now what
I'm going to do for you is offer you a
two-week free intro period where I'm
going to post for you I'm going to
create all your social pages your
Facebook page your Instagram your
Twitter and I'm going to run a Facebook
advertisement for 14 days okay and
that's going to cost you that all you
have to pay for it's going to be $70 I'm
going to run a five dollar daily ad
budget for you and I'm going to get you
five thousand I'm going to reach out to
five thousand people at a minimum and I
promise that because I'm able to show
them the data so you know for $70 you
can easily reach out to five thousand
people that's been under shot I usually
I usually reach anywhere from 8,000 to
12,000 people with seventy dollars of ad
spend so that's you know what you want
to do is get them in the free trial
period okay because now they have to
give you their admin status to their
Facebook page so now they're going to be
checking up on you rise they're going to
have their skin in the game and you're
going to provide so much value right
you're going to get them you know their
advertisement reaches you know maybe
eight to eight thousand to twelve
thousand people but you promised five
thousand so you under promise and over
deliver right
so you give them that data you say you
know you show the
how many times their links got their
link got clicked how many people came in
downloaded the promo offer or whatever
it may be how many people came into
their store you're just providing them
with so much result upfront that at the
end of the two weeks you've reached out
to 8,000 to 12,000 people that have seen
their business maybe 200 emails 500
emails 200 link clicks right maybe a few
several people have came into the store
from the offer that you're promoting and
this is all for free so you're going to
tell them you know I'm going to do all
this for you for free the complete
social media management I'm going to run
a Facebook ad for you I'm going to get
your results I'm going to get you new
leads new clients new exposure and at
the end of two weeks we can talk about
the packages again right so now their
skin is in the game now
you gave them they gave you their
password their login whatever their
admin status to their Facebook page so
now it's really up to you so now you get
the results for them and they can't say
no to you if they say no then they have
bigger issues than to be able to afford
your packages so you know this is an
easy way of closing a client you provide
two weeks of free service you know you
love to do this stuff it's really easy
you get them some results it's good
practice good data for the next client
you approach right because now you have
all this Facebook advertising data and
you show that to the next client so
that's my gold I guess my gold way of
closing a client my go-to strategy give
them the two weeks free if they refuse
to pay a thousand dollars give them the
two weeks free and then at the end of
the two weeks they're most likely going
to pay you $1,000 or $2,000 monthly
retainer so I hope that this video
