that I've been getting through emails
social media YouTube comments people
saying Ryan how do I get more sales how
do I get more social media marketing
clients how do I sell more on Amazon how
do I sell more affiliate marketing
products and offers this is a common
question and I want to address it
because you know I just recently read a
book that really helped me out calm
secrets by Russell Brunson I could
suggest you check it out if you haven't
but he points out specific techniques
and applicable skills that can be used
I definitely resonate with and I
understand is understanding your lead
okay what are who are leads leads or
prospects these are people that you can
convert into customers or clients or you
know people buying your product or
service and when we understand our leads
we're going to market differently okay
so there's three types of leads leads
are there's hot leads there's warm leads
and there's cold leads okay you would
market to a hot lead the same way you
would to a cold lead because a cold lead
has never even heard about you they've
never even heard about your product and
they aren't even you know they don't
even know their desires yet because you
haven't triggered that in them yet so
when you're marketing to a hot lead
okay what is a hotly a hot lead is
someone who already knows you they know
your product can fulfill their desire
you just have to make them take action

you know this product or service right
or you know join my social media
marketing agency we're going to get you
more sales we're going to tell your
brand story to more people stuff like
that okay so that's a hot lead someone
who already knows you you've been in
contact with multiple times and you're
going to market to them differently
because they just need
take action that's it that's the
difference between them you know buying
your products and service it's you
telling them to take action a warm lead
is someone who knows that you know knows
that you can fulfill their desire but
they don't know of your product yet so
this would be someone that has heard of
you
maybe you've talked to them before about
your social media marketing agency or
you know maybe they've watched your
YouTube channel or something like that
but they don't know your product okay so
they don't know that you offer social
media marketing services or they don't
know that you have consulting services
because they just seen your YouTube
channel and they didn't look in your
description box box okay so that's a
warm lead you're going to you're going
to market to them differently than a hot
lead or cold lead cold lead is someone
who's never heard of you they just
stumbled upon your advertisement or your
video and you got to warm them up okay
you can't just go in there you know I
like to put it you don't want to go into
a restaurant screaming you know buy mine
buy my product or service because
they're going to be like dude what the
hell is this guy talking about we don't
know what you're talking about
some crazy guy yelling in the restaurant
right you're going to warm them up
you're going to tell them about your
product or service you got to connect
with them on a deeper level okay
target their desires their concerns talk
with them about their concerns right if
they have certain things in their life
that they want to change maybe they want
to lose weight maybe they want to you
know make more money maybe they hate
their job you talk to them about that
first before you go market your product
or service okay and if it's a social
media marketing client or prospect talk
with talk with them about their business
get to know their business
where are they struggling right you
wouldn't just go in there and say oh
well you know you're your social media
marketing currently sucks and we can
help you 10,000 percent we're going to
help you get more sales because they're
going to be like whoa whoa whoa like
who are you right they don't even know
you yet and then you're going in there
and you're kind of pushing a product or
service on them so what you should do is
get to know them first ask them
questions about their business how's
their business currently doing are they
using advertising right ask those
open-ended questions get to know that
warm them up then then you could talk
about your services then talk about how
you've helped other people get drastic
results okay and then you can offer your
services to them because they're all
warmed up so understanding your leads is
going to get you more sales because you
need to market differently to them you
need to converse differently to a hot
lead or a warm leader a cold lead you
have to just talk differently to them
another thing is having some sort of
value proposition I think this is one
thing that you know I've I had that made
the mistake of doing of not you know
adding value upfront I think everyone
has made that mistake some point or
another in their marketing but you know
when it comes to whether it's social
media marketing or Amazon sales right if
you're selling on Amazon
I know Tanner has previously bundled
other products with his product right so
he's giving away so much value because
he's bundling like something that
someone would buy separately and he's
putting it all into one package
therefore getting more Amazon sales
because people are like now they don't
have to order separate products so like
oh it's like a two and one
right two two and one so I'm just going
to buy that when you're marketing you
know when you're doing social media
marketing give out a free business on it
right that's your value that's your bait
that's your hook you're getting them in
the door by giving them something of
value for free okay and it only takes a
little bit of a little bit of time and
you know you're going to most likely
land the client so why not give them
that bait right give them a little fish
to get the big fish right so just
providing that up for
you right off the bat is an easy way to
get that lead in the door and then you
can start warming them up start talking
about start asking them the right
questions about themselves their
business Xpress you know get them to
talk about their concerns their desires
then you tell them about your product or
service how many people you've helped
and then you could sell them so you know

just been thinking a lot about this
topic because it's one of the hardest
things to grasp right is getting the
actual sale and once you start getting
the sale it becomes so much more
automated so much more automated you
just go out there and you're like just
closing closing closing making money
because you know how to provide value
you know how to converse you know how to
market to different types of leads you
understand the different types of leads
and when this all just becomes automated
your business will run smoothly it'll
just start flowing and the money will
start coming in and it just makes a
drastic difference so you know if you
