moderator first well you're going to be
answering emails and taking care of
support you can respond to comments on
social media you can address complaints
and you could calm things down inside of
the community so you can prevent flames
from escalating and you're just you know
you're just keeping the community
balanced now you can also do other tasks
as well such as search engine marketing
but essentially you're gonna be working
remotely from home as a community
moderator alright now what I've done is
I've gathered together five websites and
these are some of the most through my
research anyway these are some of the
most reputable websites for this type of
thing and the first one here that we're
going to look at is live world comm and
this is a company that provides a
service to big companies that have huge
social media followings and it's just
getting out of control so they need
people like you and me to jump in there
balance everything out and calm
everything down and you know answer
questions and and all that good stuff so
that this is a type of services they
provide but they also this particular
company also provides different software
for you know Facebook messenger software
they also have pharmaceutical and
healthcare solutions and they also they
also provide content planning as well

and content and they also provide
insights and analytics now that's live
world.com now if you would like to apply

to do this is just to go to google and
type in live world and then H R which
stands for Human Resources and when you
type that into Google it's going the
first result you should have it says

on that and that'll take you over to the

the other one is the social element now
this used to be emod ER e moderators
dot-com at one point but they've
recently changed their name to the
social element they do very similar
things just like live world comm does
and they provide social engagement
services social insight services and
social content you guys can check out
their website they have some pretty big
clients as well as a quote here or
comment from MTV Networks you can see
some of the companies that they have
worked with and if you would like to

have community moderation services they
have social media services so check this

and the people working for the company
and then I'll scroll all the way down

or just attach the file and then fill

Mod Squad and let's go on to another one
here lithium lithium com this this is a
pretty big firm here one of the largest
they work with some of the bigger some
of the biggest companies in the world
like eBay and air B&B and you guys can
look this over they offer social media
management they moderate online
communities and they also provide
messaging services as well okay and so
check out the website now to apply for a
moderation a remote moderation position
for lithium this it's a little bit more
hidden so I think what you guys are
going to have to do is just contact them
directly because I wasn't able to find
an area where you can just directly
apply online so what you're gonna want
to do is just click on the contact
button at the very top of the screen and
just say hey I'm interested in becoming
a social media moderator or a Content
moderator and you know where do I go
from here and just ask them and they'll
help you out and tell you where to go so
you can apply okay yeah I think that
this the Internet's just kind of lagging
today I don't know what's going on with
that but let's go over to the last one
here the last one is crisp and this is
crisp thinking calm okay crisp thinking
calm and this a little bit different
company okay they actually spell they
actually specialize in kids and in
protecting kids and teens you know from
cyber bullies and toxic content and they
also they also protect social social
media brands and do a lot of moderation
as well for different social things big

requirements so the skill requirements
you know you must have excellent written
language skills strong knowledge of
social media and if you guys are already
familiar with you know how Facebook
works how Pinterest and Twitter works
and you guys shouldn't have a problem
with that so you must have knowledge
about how all those accounts work and
then a good sound judgment two different
things that come your way
so the ability to make different
decisions on things and the ability to
keep cool you know in tense situations
so if something comes up it's a little
off-putting or a little shocking or
whatever you gotta be able to maintain
your composure
okay that's those are the kind of people
that they're looking for so there you go
