how can you make money playing music
well you can do online econ certs okay
so with concert window you can conduct
online performances and earn money okay
fans can watch you play from the comfort
of their couch and artists can perform
from their home or recording studio
environment so this way you know this is
a way to let fans who might not get a
chance to see you perform live in person
they will still feel like they've had a
similar experience
since performances they're not archived
okay they're only available live so it's
almost kind of like a webinar or
something like that where they're not
recorded so you can't download them
later on and you know this is only like
a one-shot thing okay so there's no
replay or anything like that
it's a great way to build that urgency
to get people to show up at the specific
time that you set for your concert so
they know like hey I got a go
because this is a one-time thing and
this is only happening on this day so I
better show up and get my tickets okay
so the concert platform is open to
anybody and so the musician is free to
define the ticket type and the pricing
for example looking over here on
Juliette Simmons page one of her
concerts right here she's offering the
ability to pay whatever you want for the
tickets
okay so I'll click over here on pay what
you want and then so I can put in any
price as long as it's a dollar or more
for what I want to pay for the ticket
okay so maybe you'll have like a big fan
or something like that and then want to
pay you like maybe 10 bucks or whatever
that's totally cool and here's another
example looking over here on Karen
Oliver's page for her page she's
requesting that you know you pay $5 for
the tickets so it's just a just a flat
fee of five bucks and then you get your
ticket and you can schedule and then
show off for the concert another cool
thing is that you can see some of the
comments and the chat from the past
concerts you can see that there's a
quite a few tips here on Juliet's last
concert even one guy paid $15 I give her
a $15 tip and so that's really cool so
really lots of good stuff there they
have some built-in marketing and
reminders already inside of the platform
people can ask to be sent reminders for
the different concerts after the
broadcast is done visitors will be asked
whether they want to be notified of
future shows by email so that's really
good you can also send direct messages
to only those fans that have tipped you
which I really like and so how do you
get people to come to your concerts well
the best way to do this you know besides
friends and family and people that you
already know out there in the real world
well you can use youtube if you've
already got a following on YouTube
people that know you for playing
instruments or being a musician on
social media on Facebook
well now you can start live concerts so
you can say hey well you guys know you
know I mean you know here's a little
song here but also here's a little link
and you can post a link onto social
media and say hey
my next concert it's gonna be a live
concert it's only on this day only
there's not going to be a replay it's
not recorded and so go over there and
check it out and when wouldn't then when
they get there they get to that page and
then they'll see a little bi ticket
button and they can just click and you
know buy a ticket for five bucks or
whatever you want whether you can set
the price for whatever you want and then
they won't schedule to be notified when
the concert goes live okay so how much
can you really make doing this well
there's no costs involved for the artist
to conduct an online concert okay
however a concert window will take a
share of the revenue and you know like
that with the tickets and the tips and
different things currently concert
window takes a flat fee of thirty
percent of all your earnings you can
make a lot of money with tips and
tickets for an example just looking over
here on their about section a lot of
people are really making some pretty
good money doing this this one guy here
generated over eighteen hundred dollars
and only ninety six minutes playing live
with the average viewer paying around
nine dollars so that's pretty good but
go over to our About section I'll leave
the link below to the concert window
website you guys can go over there and
check out some of the results that other
musicians are getting with the system
you can set an incentive for people as
well so for example let's just say that
you know someone tips you five dollars
or more well you can say that that's
going to give you access to a free album
that they can download later on okay so
that's pretty cool another website
that's very similar to concert window is
stage it okay so pretty much the same
concept what you can do is people can
come over here you can send your ike
links to your to your concerts and they
can get tickets you can set the prices
if your tickets people can give you
different tips and things like that i
mean for me personally i kind of like
the interface it's a little bit nicer
over on the concert window but stage' is
another great way to earn some extra
cash if you want to have you know start
doing concerts on two platforms or you
know try this platform out if the other
ones not working out for you but the
earnings structure is a little bit
different the more money you bring in
with this platform the smaller
percentage of revenue that
company takes so for an example if you
earn like five hundred dollars you know
the artist takes home like sixty three
percent of the total from there your
percentage increases and it will
increase all the way up to a maximum of
eighty three percent okay which is not
too bad alright so go check it out that
