about a year ago I went on to the
Internet I'm always on the internet what
am I talking about I went on to the I
went online and I was looking for
someone to help me with programming
alright I was developing this little
application so I went onto one of those
job sites okay where you post the
project and then when you post the
project you get a bunch of proposals
from different people they bid on your
project right and so I did that I posted
the project and I got tons of proposals
people were bidding on the project like
crazy I think I got like 40 or 50
proposals but there was one guy that
stood out one person he did something
different out of all those people okay
which most of them just looked like like
a copy and paste kind of thing you know
if you've ever posted a project on one
of those websites it just looks like
they just kind of go through and spam
they're there their credentials
but there was one person that did
something different okay and that's what
I'm going to share with you on this
video okay now first thing I've got to
pick out a site to do here or to work
with here so we're gonna choose people
per hour
now hold on guys hold on just a minute I
know what you're thinking right I've
tried this I've done this before I
didn't work I didn't get any hold on a
minute just hear me out exactly what I'm
going to show you okay because maybe you
have tried it out maybe you've you got a
lot of proposals or you made a lot of
proposals and no one hired you well in
this video I'm gonna give you some
secrets here okay so people per hour now
this is one of the most popular job
board websites that you can go to all
right buyers come on to hear buyers
that'll be like a client and they post
projects and then you as the seller or
the freelancer will make a proposal and
bid on the different projects that they
post all right so now on this video
we're gonna talk about you being the
freelancer you are going to be the
seller according to people per hour now
first thing that we're gonna do here
let's go right over here and I'm gonna
choose browse because we're gonna take a
look at some projects all right now once
you guys get to this page what you're
going to do is you just come over here
where it says all categories and you're
gonna want to choose a category that has
to do with a certain skill something
that you know how to do alright we all
have skills it could be you know writing
or it could be graphics it could be web
development it could be maybe some
business support or maybe providing some
advice in a certain area whatever that
is look for the category so for me
personally I have some graphic design
experience so what I'm gonna do is I'm
gonna choose creative arts
okay and then from here I'm gonna look
through here for a project that I would
like to do something that looks pretty
straightforward all right any project it
doesn't matter which project it's going
to be and don't go into it guys thinking
like oh they're not gonna pick me no no
no guys choose any project that you want
okay and then we'll just go ahead and
move forward here so let's just go

very interesting I need a logo producing
I have the basic design all right so
let's go ahead click on this okay so
this lady right here Lady Jane she needs
a logo I would like even go and zoom in
here for you guys I would like a large
file crating to show my logo which I
have designed as per below okay so she's
attached a design example for us that's
cool this is for my website and I also
will have some metal stamps created so I
can sign my work with it okay here's
what you're gonna do all right you're
not going to just send them a regular
proposal you're not going to just tell
them oh I have 20 years of experience
and I can have your project done in five
minutes or whatever you're not going to
do any of that what you guys are going
to do is you're going to get out of your
comfort zone and you are going to reply
to her and you're you're gonna make a
proposal with a video all right because
that's what that one guy did I had about
40 or 50 proposals and there was one
dude that made a video and I hired him
okay
I was totally blown away so here's what
you gotta do you can use your webcam or
whatever it is and I'm gonna show you on
this video I'm actually going to make
the video so you can see what I would do
if I wanted to take on this project okay
so I have my I have my little iPhone
here what this is it's just basically
like a little tripod and it folds and
let me go ahead and turn this real quick
so it folds up you can use it to hold
the phone and do like a selfie
whatever but it also folds out and I can
use it for you know just a place on my
desk just to have it there so I'm just
gonna do that and then I have this
little grabber here and I can just you
know squeeze it and then I can pinch my
up my phone and my phone will stay at
the top there and then what I can do is
just put that right on my desk and then
I'm going to record a video for you guys
and then I'll show you what the video
looks like so I'll be right back hey

hour so I just wanted to personally
reach out to you and tell you a little
bit more about me but I've been doing
graphic design now for over 10 years so
I've been in the game for quite a long
time I've already created several logos
and I've done graphic design for
websites and that sort of thing but I
have an extensive knowledge when it
comes to pixels resolution and also
vector graphics I have Adobe Illustrator
I have Photoshop and so I understand
really kind of like all the ins and outs
on how all that works but the most
important thing for me is to understand
exactly what you are looking for okay
and so you know I'm pretty easygoing I'm
patient and I'm willing to you know
really just take the time and and really
provide you exactly what you want okay
another thing that's important is that
not only can we make your logo look it's
very best on the internet or on a web
page but also I would like to produce
your logo at a higher resolution this
way in the future if you've ever decided
to maybe print your logo like such as on
a letterhead or a business card or
something like that that it will look
crystal clear okay so I hope you choose

couple takes but you know what you may
have to do that if you're not very
comfortable on camera you might have to
you know record it a couple times but
who cares because so many people out
there are shy they're afraid to get on
the camera they're afraid of being
judged and making mistakes and laughs
all this stuff
and if you make the video though you're
gonna stand out and probably have like
more of like a 80 85 90 percent chance
of getting hired more than all those
other people all right
people connect with people guys that's
really how it works and if you can just
kind of Express you know be or be
yourself express your personality and
the number one thing is to let them know
that it's important to you that you
understand exactly what they're looking
for because from a client's point of
view they're their big question is you
know am I gonna find somebody is there
somebody out there that's going to
listen to me so I can get exactly what I
want because they have a vision and they
want to know if you are that right
person to provide them with a product or
that that vision of what they're
thinking about okay so let them know
that in the video and provide some more
information you know get them excited to
get them pumped up and tell them that
you're excited about their project okay
all right so go ahead and jump in there
guys there are so many different
projects on people per hour
you guys could also go over to upwork
and do the same thing so upwork people
per hour these websites are great
