fought and today we wanted to present
with you the social media money
challenge so we want people to be
inspired and i want to show you you know
we both want to show you that it's
possible to provide value through social
media and to make money so well we're
going to lay out the rules of this
challenge we're going to be giving away
three hundred dollars to the winner
that's the first thing so three hundred
dollars could pay your bills you know
pay for more than half of Tanner's
course pay for my course you know
whatever tising the advertising for your
own whatever it may be I mean three
hundred dollars of free money for you
that seems to not only benefit you're
going to get from this challenge is
making three hundred dollars but rather
making money through social media as
well so that's basically why we're
creating this challenge I guess we'll go
over the rules of how it's going to work
yeah so Howard so what the whole
challenge is is for you to have 30 days
to see how much money you can make on
social media yep whether it be through
getting clients for your s MMA or
whether it be affiliate marketing just
putting like affiliate links to maybe
you start like a baseball page on
Facebook because you're passionate about
that it can be anything as long as
you're doing it through social media
yeah now we're not picking a winner
based off who makes the most that could
be the winner if they make them up but
we're going to have you guys submit a
little video of a story or the story of
how you made the money I mean when it
could make one dollar when it can make
ten thousand dollars it just depends on
who has the best story and who we think
was maybe most creative and about going
about it or innovate over exactly yeah
so whoever has the best story of you
know whether they made their first
dollar on through social media or you
made a thousand dollars
through social media it doesn't matter
the point of it is to make money through
social media one of the platform's
Instagram Facebook Twitter YouTube
whatever it may be so you have 30 days
to win three hundred dollars and make
money on top of that through social
media i'm going to show you on my
computer kind of an overview of what I
did to make money on social media you
know creating an Instagram business page
linking it to a Facebook page and you
know throwing up a link on the Instagram
or promoting a link on your facebook
page it's easy like I like the example
you know if you love baseball right you
can make a business instagram page for
baseball like a baseball fan page post
great content you know reach out to
influencers within that niche you know
follow their followers because obviously
they're going to like your content as
well and throw up an affiliate link in
your bio you know it simple is that we
just want to inspire people to take
action and make a little bit bit of
extra money on social media yeah and
along the way we'll be showing you guys
some of the ways you can do it like
brian was saying with the business page
your facebook page yeah we're probably
going to make videos in the next couple
weeks as you guys go along in the
challenge on ways to do it and how to do
it I like effectively yep so the rules
are to win the three hundred dollars and
a we're going to do a youtube video with
you with the winner right we're going to
do a little interview one on one YouTube
video the rules are you have to be
following Tanner's youtube channel as
well as mine then you're going to have
to comment down below which they comment

my Instagram and pack three people on
the most recent photo so that those are
the three steps to get in and then what
we'll be doing in the next 30 days will
be showing you ways you can make money
through social media and then when we
announce the winner when we do that
video or actually we're going to do a
video to where you'll submit your story
to us via email
and then we'll be picking a winner yep

and Tanner we're going to interview you
live we're going to throw that up on the
YouTube channel so this is how to get
started making money on social media at
the most basic way you can get creative
with this but I just wanted to do this
video so that you have an idea if you
haven't already made money on social
media so let's go ahead and jump into
this we're here on the my private
Facebook or my personal facebook page so
what I want you to do is go on to your
personal Facebook page and create a
business page this is the first thing I
did to start making money on social
media everyone has value to provide so
don't think that it's not possible it's
possible to make money so create page
right here on the bottom left hand
corner what I did for Ford revenue media
for my agency I did company organization
you could do that if you want to if
you're creating a fan page for baseball
or maybe you have a you know service
consulting service or building web pages
for people you can do company or you
could do public figure or whatever
whatever you want local business the
point is to get started taking action I
would choose you know either public
figure or company or organization I'm
going to use my student URL for example
he's a great guy he had a skill that I
told him he can definitely start getting
some business online and he creates web
pages for people as well as doing SEO so
that's a great skill that he had I
personally don't have that expertise and
SEO so I said hey man you should start
reaching out to people see if they need
help with SEO or website design and ask
if they are interested in your services
so
he did was he created a company Paige go
here typed in his company and said get
started then what I want you to do is
link your Instagram make an Instagram
page and link it to your business
Facebook page and how you do that is
there will be a Settings button at the
top right hand corner you're going to
click that and then it says switched a
business account and what's what that's
going to do is it's going to allow you
to put a URL in your Bible or
description box whatever you want to
call it and that's going to allow people
to book your services or book your you
know your if you're selling a baseball
bat on Amazon you're going to be able to
put that link in there so you make some
affiliate earnings whatever it may be so
create your page on facebook link it to
your Instagram now I want you to start
reaching out to people what your al did
what I told them to do was go on to be
you go here go home go on to a similar
page whether you're in the social media
marketing agency or some page that you
have to identify who your customer is
who your client is for him it was going
to be someone who needed website design
feo and there's plenty I mean there's
8,000 members in the social media
marketing agency group and I'm sure
twenty percent of them at least need
some help with that and rather than go
to fiber why not you know message a
person and build that trust because I
mean sure I can go to fiber and hire
some random person to build my website
but i rather go with uriel because he
messaged me personally I see that you
know he lives in the area or whatever it
may be there's more trucks built when
you send a personal message reaching out
to someone so what I want you to do is
if you have a skill consulting or
website design or maybe you are good at
you know managing social media or making
you know your photographer
want you to reach out to the members in
a group that pertains to what your
service is so there's 8,000 members i
want you to message at least 20 to 30
every day this is what I did to build my
youtube channel I've first that started
off with stock market and investing
education on my youtube channel so i
would message 20 to 30 people every day
on Instagram video message and I would
say hey it's I saw your page I really
like you know whatever picture that I
liked on their page I have a financial
education are investing channel and I
would appreciate it if you checked it
out hopefully it provides some value to
you look forward to hearing from you and
then send literally eighty percent
eighty percent of those people would
message me back and say hey man that was
great I I appreciate you sending a video
message and I'll go check out your
YouTube and that's how i made you know
started growing my youtube channel so
it's the same principle applies you have
to get your name out there you have to
reach out to people let's say you don't
have any skills you don't have a
consulting skills you don't have website
design skills nothing like that that's
fine find a product that's valuable that
people will most likely by if you know
if you're doing let's say you're doing a
baseball bat on amazon you're going to
go to a baseball group right on facebook
right here baseball page 10 million
people you're going to click on that
you're going to find members within this
page right i don't know if you can on
this page but you're going to find a
baseball group find members within that
page send them a message you know
converse with them right so that they
see your page and then you're gonna
you're going to go on amazon associates
so you're going to type into google
amazon affiliate and you can become an
affiliate right you create your profile
here then you're going to be able to
advertise baseball bats rise this is
just an example and
amazon is going to give you an affiliate
link for that baseball bat so everyone
that clicks your link in your Instagram
bio or your Facebook page and they buy
that baseball bat you're going to get
some commission from it about social
media money so I want you to get started
it's very easy get creative the point of
this challenge is to get you to take
some action make some money and win that
three hundred dollars and you know share
your story I mean you know you're going
to be able to share your story not only
to me and Tanner but to everyone that
subscribes to the channel and we want
the most interesting stories the most
creative whether you made a dollar or
you made 10,000 it doesn't matter we're
picking the winner in 30 days so I look
