gonna share with you my secret to making
so this is we're gonna use Facebook as
an example okay Facebook is at $99 today
it is October 22nd 2015
so Facebook's at $99 and sixty-seven
cents and basically I'm selling an
option down here at $92 this is called a
bull put spread okay so as long as
Facebook stays over $92 I get to I make
a premium of 53 dollars so I get paid
fifty three dollars as long as Facebook
stays over $92 okay Facebook's at $99
that's seven and a half percent away
from my strike
okay so Facebook would have to go down
seven and a half percent for me to lose
money on this trade I'm risking a
hundred and ninety seven dollars to make
fifty three okay so one might say why
would you risk more to make less on a
trade
well I'm risking 197 to make 53 because
my probabilities are 74 percent I have a
74 percent chance of profit on this
trade where do you get those kinds of
probabilities if you were to buy a stock
your probability would be 50/50 I'm
losing money okay if you were to buy
Facebook today in 99 67 and it were to
go down to 92 you'd lose what does that
$7 you lose a $7 I would make
so let me give you a visual
representation of what this looks like
okay so this top line is where Facebook
is out right now it's at 99 67 that's
where it closed today the bottom line is
92 that's where it have this bottom
yellow line right here that's where
Facebook would have to go for me to not
make money on this trade and I'd have to
go below that for me to lose money on
this trade so I have a 74% chance of
winning in this trade I'd make 53
dollars if Facebook stays over 92 until
my expiration which is 29 days away so
this is basically how I make a monthly
income in the stock market it's easy as
that I'm using probabilities you know
the probabilities are in my favor
