WHY MOTIVATION WON'T HELP YOU MAKE $1,000,000 THIS YEAR (FERRARI 458 RANT)



what's up YouTube this is Ryan Hildreth
and we are back with another Rory rant
I'm here in the Ferrari 458 Italia and I
wanted to do a talk about something that
you know that we all go through I've
been going through it lately and the
topic of it is motivation and why
motivation sucks and it will not help
you gain any amount of success in the
long run okay so what is motivation for
me you know going before I used to go to
the gym I used to watch like
motivational gym lifting videos
bodybuilding videos I used to listen to
motivational music I used to have to get
amped about something right whether it's
in business right if I want to make a
certain amount of money I get motivated
by the Ferrari I get motivated by you
know how much money I can make and that
kind of stuff doesn't isn't sustainable
in the long run okay because sure okay
right now in your career whatever it may
be maybe on your entrepreneurial path
I'm guessing that you're probably on an
entrepreneurial path in some sort or
you're trying to make you know a side
income to where you can you know live a
life of
kind of on your own terms right and that
and that's something that I always
strive for is to continue to live a life
on my own terms okay but there's gonna
be days where you wake up feeling like
absolute and no Ferrari no million
dollars can motivate you to get out of
bed okay
and I want to teach you how to get
through those times okay how do we if we
can't get motivated about reaching a
level of success or our goals how are we
gonna go about doing it right if we're
not motivated to go out and make money
how do we go and make money right and
that's kind of what I want to talk about
today
and kind of what I'm going through and
the things that I've achieved in my
career and love you know I've had my
level of success success is defined in
your own terms for me I wanted to you
know effectively make enough money to
where I could drive my dream car and I
don't have to work a nine-to-five and I
could you know travel and do stuff with
my family at any time that I want and
that that for me was success as long as
I'm helping other people get there that
that motivates me and inspires me but
sometimes I don't have motivation
sometimes I feel like absolute crap I
don't feel like making these videos for
you I don't feel like you know even
going to the gym I'm going right now to
go to the gym to do Sunday cardio okay
cardio on a Sunday that that is
definitely not fun especially if you're
a weightlifter you know you're a
bodybuilder
no one likes snow Mike's cardio but how
do I get past them
what drives me to continue doing what
I'm doing and that is actions through
habit okay and what is that what does
that mean okay give me a sec I'm turning
right here
what is actions through habit what does
that even mean all right and so I make
youtube videos every single day that is
a habit that I have formed because I've
done it I think there's a research that
says if you do something continuously
for 21 days it becomes a habit I'm not
sure on that 21 day mark it might be a
little bit longer but for me I've made
youtube videos every single day I've
uploaded since October 1st ok and that's
a habit that I've formed and even when I
don't have motivation even when I don't
have motivation to make a video and
inspire others and you know do something
that's bigger than myself
like give you guys inspiration give you
guys tips on how to reach a level of
success that you want to get to the
habit is what gets through that the
habit is what beats motivation any day
of the week and in the long term if you
want to be successful you have to
develop successful habits so that when
you don't have motivation you're still
able to carry on that task right every
single day I make a youtube video ok to
inspire others to do something bigger
than myself every single day I go to the
gym right I work on my health and that's
something that I do for myself so that
you know when my fiance comes home I'm
in a good mood I feel healthy I'm you
know lean I'm fit and I'm able to just
live a healthy lifestyle
so making YouTube video everyday going
to the gym everyday I eat healthy every
day I hit my calories and my macros
every single day and then the fourth
thing that I do every single day is I do
at least one thing that will generate
income okay whether it's working on my
affiliate marketing businesses where
whether it
building a funnel and running adds to it
whether it's you know anything anything
of that sort whether it's trading in the
stock market or trading cryptocurrencies
as long as I'm doing something that
produces income every single day I know
that if I'm not motivated to do it later
on down the road if I'm not motivated on
a on a Monday or a Thursday or a Friday
the habit will get me to do that thing
okay and that's kind of what I want to
stress in this video all right and so
what I want to stress in this video is
to form those successful habits okay and
you will get to a level of success that
you want to when you develop these
habits okay because motivation is not
gonna get you to sustain a successful
lifestyle motivation is crap I'm only
saying this because I've relied so much
on motivation in the past and even in
the you know most recent past this past
month or two I've relied so much on
motivation and I've realized wow I my
whole structure on how I'm performing as
a businessman is reliant on something
that doesn't last forever okay so if if
you can get any message from this video
hopefully that is it is to form habits
through action and not rely on
motivation because motivation is not
gonna be there forever okay once you get
the dream car once you get the money
once you get the time freedom what
you're gonna get yeah I know you're
gonna get there because obviously you're
you're watching videos you're studying
you're taking action once you get there
then that but then what right then what
what's your motivation now you already
have everything that you want so I don't
believe in motivation I believe in
actions through habits I believe in
doing things that are bigger than
yourself
but the habits is what's gonna get you
there okay so try to form daily habits
and it could be on the topic of health
right so maybe you go to the gym every
day it could be on the topic of of
wealth maybe you you know do one thing
in your day to build your business on
the side or it could be you know it
could be spiritual
maybe you meditate 10 minutes during the
day every single day whatever it may be
whatever that is for you you know
hopefully you gain something from this
video because I'm just sharing this
because most recently you know I've I've
experienced this that you know
motivation is not forever it doesn't
last forever unfortunately you know I
wish that my car and stuff like that
motivated me forever but it really
doesn't because nothing lasts forever
but habits habits will get you through
the long-term so hopefully you learned
