marketing strategy you're gonna
approaching it this way and you get to
look at a little bit of how this worked
for my wife and I because this is not
the first time we've taken this approach
in our business now you've known earlier
from earlier videos that your email list
is your distribution channel right this
is the one channel that you own and
oftentimes ones email list is actually
the most valuable asset of an online
business so that's why my entire
business model and my wife's business
model has always been focused around
growing our email list and then growing
the relationship with the individuals on
the email list this is where daily
emails come in this is an idea that my
wife and I learned about approximately
two years ago and my wife jumped in and
she started with a 30 day email
challenge where she emailed once a day
for 30 days now before this we were
emailing maybe four times per month
really we were generally only emailing
when we had something new to offer or
something new to sell we would send out
a free thing here and there but it was
very irregular so in the time that we
started the idea of emailing every day
we had a bit of fear we were worried
that people were gonna unsubscribe
people were gonna complain and that it
was gonna maybe offend segments of our
audience there was also kind of that
that fear of like I don't really know
exactly what I'm gonna talk about every
single day but we committed anyways
because the theory of developing that
relationship more quickly and really
establishing ourselves as the expert in
our niche that really kind of comes
through clearly when you email every
single day so we started emailing every
day and surprise surprise we did not get
a massive amounts of complaints we did
not get a massive amount of unsubscribes
and actually people started replying
saying thank you thank you thank you it
turns out most people in our world who
are living a commuter based lifestyle or
they're busy they're bored with their
daily lives they actually enjoy getting
more positive helpful useful information
in their inbox every single day now note
I did say positive helpful entertaining
informative
useful information in their inbox every
day we're not sending pitch after pitch
after pitch that would quickly destroy
the relationship so now that I'm growing
this miles bechler brand and I started
with a 90-day challenge where I did 90
videos in 90 days then that grew the
audience on a third-party platform I
don't own from there the goal has been
to funnel people onto my email list with

large autoresponder I have two emails
that go out after you subscribe the
first one is just to make sure that
you've got the item you subscribe for
and the second one is actually one of
these daily emails that was really
really good it kind of gives you a good
broad understanding of the state of
internet marketing now in 2018 from
there you go on to what I call my
broadcast segment and on the broadcast
segment you get my daily email where I'm
simply emailing a useful and helpful tip
tactic idea or story every single day my
goal is to help you grow your business
online my goal is to help you avoid the
pitfalls that I went through in the last
15 plus years when I've been learning
how to make money online I made my first
money online in 2003 I went full-time
online in 2010 here we are in 2018 I've
got a few things I can share from all my
past experiences and stories to help you
speed up the process and that is my
entire goal so a few things happen when
we email every day number one we can we
have the opportunity to build the the
likeability and the trust right get them
to know like and trust you much more
quickly through daily emails it gives
you the opportunity to truly establish
yourself as a as an expert in your field
right someone who's truly an expert in
something will find it very easy to come
up with one subject in one topic to talk
about every single day it also gives us
more opportunities to promote items and
this means we have the opportunity to
generate more revenue the idea that Gary
Vaynerchuk established with the Jab Jab
Jab right hook is that you want to give
give give before asking for a sale so
what this means in email marketing is we
generally sell send value based emails
three to four times in a row before
presenting an offer in that fourth email
the way my wife and I discuss it is I've
got to get another jab out today or I've
got a hook coming because there's
something that's open we've got a new
product that we're launching we have
something that's going to be an offer
and we always make sure we're balancing
our jabs and our hooks by giving three
four five pieces of great value and then
we ask for the sale on that fourth fifth
or sixth email and it varies right
there's no there's no hard set rule a
lot of times when the email that we
write that's a value driven email
there's a jab based email if it's really
really tailored to a specific product a
specific tool or something very specific
even if it's paid we will often include
that in a PS as a very soft sale right
it's something that we don't necessarily
push it it's not a direct cook but if

here this is the approach and what I'm
realizing is most people are bored
most people want more helpful
information and most people's email
inboxes are absolutely bombarded with
offers with spam with trash with things
that need their attention and what this
gives me an opportunity to do is to
really stand out as a helpful trusted
adviser in your inbox to really give
give give lots of value that way people
get kind of trained to really enjoy and
like my emails to look forward to my
emails and then when the timings right
and when a product a tool or a service
is available that I recommend as an
affiliate I'm gonna get a very good
response on that because I've built I
spent so much time and energy building
up that trust right if I had a
membership program of my own or if I was
to launch a product a book etc I've got
this audience of people who know like
and trust me from all of the
effort and energy I've put forth in the
email marketing now I really do
recommend that if you're on the path to
growing an internet-based business
especially if you're taking kind of the
expert route where you're positioning
yourself as an expert in your niche
you're doing information marketing
affiliate marketing etc I really really
implore you to email your list more
often it's going to make sure that you
stay relevant and you stay top of mind
there's nothing worse than subscribing
to someone's email list you're excited
about their free offer you go through it
then you don't hear from them for a
month and also you get this offer email
a month later and you're like who is
this why are they sending me a pitch
right now unsubscribe you need to do the
opposite of that which is take the time
to really pour your heart and your soul
out there to be some sort of kind of
spark of light in their inbox some sort
of helpful voice in their inbox because
everyone's inbox is full of pitches and
spam and rubbish and things and to-do
lists and when you become that helpful
individual they really look forward to
your emails and it pushes that
relationship forward so incredibly
quickly
the byproduct of this is stronger
relationships with your list the
byproduct of that is ultimately going to
be more revenue for you in your business
and all in all it just gets you to be of
service at scale which is what I'm all
about
that's how my wife and I have built our
three separate brands that are each
generating multiple six figures per year
at this point and we're following the
same process over and over it's about
how do I give as much value as possible
I start with these YouTube videos then
the content goes onto my podcast in my
blog this funnels people into my opt-in
page it gets them on my list and I give
even more value to my list I'm trying to
not just email out every video I promote
because or every video I put out because
that would get boring right if you want
my videos you know where to find them
people who are on my email list they
want more they want deeper ideas and I'm
always looking around and what I'm
reading what I'm consuming what I'm
hearing on social media what I'm
observing in my world around me and
there's email ideas everywhere it's so
easy to come up with an email topic most
of these emails I'm sending out every
day my goal is to keep them about 300
400 words and sometimes that's difficult
my stories get going and I get kind of
on a roll and I'll send them at five six
hundred words and the cool part about it
is I'm now repurposing this email
content on my Instagram posts which I
then push over to Facebook
I've even published multiple of them to
my blog itself because by the time I was
done it was five six hundred words it
was really good copy it was a really
good idea that I shared and I just went
ahead and published it to my blog as
well because I'm always looking for
those opportunities to get leverage and
to get kind of get the most out of what
I'm already doing right so as you start
to write these emails you will find that
sometimes my video ideas actually come
out of my email topics right so I'll
write an email a bit man that's really
good I should do a video on that
tomorrow and that's where the idea for
the video generates and then I'll put it
on my Instagram post and the Instagram
post can post and link back to my
youtube video and it creates this little
web of content the other last benefit
that I'm super stoked on is my writing
has really really improved I've gotten
to where I'm more conversational I'm
more comfortable with the process and
just like the videos when I started
making my first videos I wasn't very
comfortable on camera but I knew I was
willing and able to go through that
learning curve and I compressed that
learning curve down by doing 90 videos
in 90 days now that I've been sending
out an email a day for weeks on end I've
sent out dozens and dozens of emails
over the last month or two I'm really
kind of flexing that muscle over and
over and the process of writing emails
is easier and easier often times it
takes me 15 to 30 minutes to get these
emails out
tested and and that's it and I'm done
and what the real kind of benefit and
by-product is in my personal opinion is
that this is helping me achieve my goal

what I'm doing here my goal is I'm
becoming the most helpful internet
marketer in the world and maybe right
now is the moment for me to own that I
am the most helpful internet marketer in
the world so what would the most helpful
internet marketer do well they give lots
of value in email to they would make
sure that every subscriber who comes
into their ecosystem is truly taking the
right kinds of steps every day getting
those daily reminders that it's all
about what you put out it's not about
buying those info courses it's real
about publishing the work putting the
work and being of service to an audience
at scale so I live that by doing it and
I'm explaining that at the same time
it's a little meta but I use stories and
I use kind of experiences from my past
of when I had it wrong and when I got it
right to really try to help you continue
to grow on your path as an entrepreneur
because it's a three five-year plan for
you and I'm on this path again right
building this miles Beckwith brand so
I'm just gonna share what worked in my
past and what I'm doing to try to help
you along your way when you get more
help value and you make it a little bit
farther towards your goals more quickly
because of what I'm helping you with in
your emails and your opening my emails
you're reading wow this is really
helping me kind of get momentum going on
my side my business is growing and I've
taken his advice and now I'm seeing the
results you fall in love with the
information that I'm giving you right
like that is me being the most helpful
internet marketer in the world I'm not
just offering you products when I have
products to sale I'm giving value to you
whether it's financially valuable for me
or not it's kind of I guess one of the
other ways of looking at it is it's a
way of taking what Gary Vaynerchuk is
doing if you know about Gary Vee he's
doing his daily vlogs and he's putting
out daily content to really try to help
people understand you got to put in the
work you got to do the work well my
life's pretty boring right if you follow
me around with a video camera you'd see
me drink coffee sit at my computer go
for hikes in nature go back to my
computer read books in the evening and
that'd be pretty boring but this is my
approach of putting out that daily
content through the inbox getting into
your inbox to really help you continue
to take progress forward to help you
remind you that it's about these little
things we do every day day in and day
out that keeps that going and ultimately
I'm becoming a better writer I'm
establishing stronger relationships I'm
making more money as an affiliate
because when I do link to the affiliate
products that I recommend there's more
trust there's more likability involved
there there's a better relationship with
me and my subscribers and you have full
capability to do this in your business
and I highly recommend it again we did
this with my wife's business almost two
years ago and she's been emailing I
would say an average of four to top four
to five times per week for years and it
has absolutely exploded our revenue in
that business and people are loving
her daily content her helpful positive
insights that is working so well that
I've had to now kind of leverage that
for my business I knew it was time to

really simple you grow an audience then
you funnel them on to your email list
and then you really really give value
and you make offers that's it
that's what my wife and I have been
doing for years and years and years and
it's got us to this point and now you're

your content clicking through to your

way to stand out as the expert in your
field that's the way stand out in the
inbox is to truly be that one that they
look forward to every single day they
show up just like it's your own little
radio show they show up as because you
keep emailing they keep opening you keep
giving value they keep like in the
relationship boom that is the absolute
