name is Alex and welcome to my channel
mine is also where share tips on how to
talk with you about affiliate marketing
being dead in 2019 and beyond and the
reason why I decided to shoot this video
on this topic is because in some of the
let's say in affiliate marketing
community a few people started spreading
these rumors that affiliate marketing is
dead if not dead already
it's dying definitely and I want to be
honest with you guys and say as it is I
feel that marketing is not dead and I
don't think it's going to die anytime
soon anytime soon I mean by years and
years and years to come
now let me get into more details and
explain you of the situation why people
are saying that affiliate marketing is
dead and why I know that affiliate
marketing is not dead and I don't
believe is going to die I don't in in
the next decade at least and the main
reason why quite a few people are saying
that affiliate marketing is dying or is
dead already is that those people who
are spraying these spreading these kind
of things are people who tried a little
bit to do a flat market in themselves
they maybe tried one niche tried another
niche tried one approach tried another
approach and they haven't succeeded they
haven't seen the results and the problem
is that it's not that it didn't work
objectively it didn't work for them and
the main reason here okay there can be a
lot of reasons they might have chosen
the wrong niche you know extremely
competitive and there are quite a few
other reasons why they haven't succeeded
but the main reason why they have
succeeded is that they haven't
done enough work they haven't put enough
work into their affiliate marketing
business to understand to reach that
point where it would be fair to say that
affiliate marketing didn't work or
doesn't work or is dead or is dying
whatever and why I'm saying this because
I know this for sure because I was one
of those guys who spent almost 7 years
to make my first sale online with
affiliate marketing of course if I was
easy
like if I was a person that gives up
easily
I would probably you know give up after
a few months of trying of trial and
errors and after that angry and sad I
would go to the affiliate marketing
community or forums and start the spread
spreading the rumors or like stating the
fact that affiliate marketing is dead
and there's no point in doing that and
there's no point there's no point in
putting so much effort into that but I
knew I felt that it was working because
I was seeing people who were making
tons of money with affiliate marketing
and I just continued growth grinding I
knew that it was me the reason why I
couldn't make it work and I knew that I
had to be persistent I had to change the
approach I had to put like more work
into what I was doing I had to deliver
more value to people to build the
relationship with my readers with my
viewers with with my potential clients
and then I knew that I would make it
work so it's just being patient and kept
working on it until I started seeing the
results and those who are stating that
affiliate marketing is dead those are
the people who are just trying to
justify a very failure now let's talk
about why I know that
that marketing is not dead and it's not
going to die any many years to come
how I know that affiliate marketing is
not that because I have the channel I
have also a couple of other projects in
affiliate marketing affiliate marketing
projects and I just getting proof every
single month that affiliate marketing is
not dead and why it's not going to die
anytime soon because this is the let's
say it's a brilliant business model for
not only affiliates but for businesses
all over the world
take for example Amazon do you think
that if it was not profitable for Amazon
to have the Amazon Associates affiliate
program do you think they would still
have this program if it was not
profitable for them of course not
because Amazon is the most like these
days it's one of the if not the most
expensive business in the world and the
brilliance of this approach of this
business model is that the companies
that hire affiliates content creators
guys like me and some of you who are
watching this video they don't spend
money on us they we like they don't pay
me money before I sell something so I'm
like only like 100 percent commission
based salesmen in their company let's
say you know I'm like a dealer that they
don't pay me anything to promote their
products and if I'm deciding to promote
some kind of product that I believe will
deliver value to my viewers subscribers
followers maybe nobody's gonna buy that
product but at the same time that
product will get some exposure and they
are winning in any case so it's just
honestly speaking it's a stupid belief
that affiliate marketing might die
anytime soon maybe it will transform
maybe it will change the shape because
you know for example some platforms like
Facebook they don't really like
affiliate links and all that stuff or
you know it might change the shape but
if you have a rich in content and value
resource like property like YouTube
channel like website like social media
with a lot of followers like audience
let's say your audience your tribe
around you around your value valuable
content then you will be getting those
affiliate offers constantly like
constantly all the time so guys I think
I also think that this self-explanatory
but I felt that I needed to share it to
share it with you because I know many
people are struggling to start the first
affiliate marketing business and they
are close to to give up and they start
believing in these kind of negative
comments and negative rumors that
affiliate marketing is dead or is dying
or it's the you know of there's no point
in creating in starting affiliate
marketing and and so on so forth so I
wanted to share with you guys to to make
you understand that it's it's not the
people that you should listen to it's
just people who don't want to put enough
effort into the affiliate marketing
business to make it work and you should
look at successful affiliate marketers
who actually succeeded with small
channels with small websites maybe they
don't do millions of euros of dollars
but they make at least I know a few
dollars a month it's already a proof
that it's working if you started making
ten dollars a month with a fail at
marketing then you should understand
that you can scale that up and start
making hundred dollars a month
thousand dollars a month ten thousand
dollars a month and so on so forth so
guys I wish you to be really persistent
and patient and keep driving keep
looking for your niche keep looking for
your approach and just deliver value to
people and sooner or later you will
start getting at the results no you want
to start affiliate marketing but you
