do you have a smartphone do you play

well in this video I'm gonna show you
how you can do that and we're gonna do
it right here right now all right so

over exactly how to do that now Before

so what we want to do is we you want to
get your smartphone you want to get that
ready but you want to head over to a
website called play test cloud.com ok so
play test cloud comm now what this is
this is a service that's offered to a
lot of different companies you see
Ubisoft you've got social point jam city
Wooga these are big gaming companies and
what happens is is and this I know from
experience because I used to build games
on the iOS devices and what happens is
you build the game but then you don't
really know if the game is gonna work so
what you have to go out and find testers
you have to find people that are gonna
actually take it play the game and then
give feedback on that game ok so it was
I know in the past it was super hard to
find that to find testers but now
there's a website that you can do that
so you're gonna go to play test cloud
and what it is is you there it allows
you know gaming companies and
individuals that create these games to
find testers like you and I to just test
the games give their feedback and then
once they get the feedback you get paid
for this so what you'll do is up here in
the upper right hand corner become a
tester
so what they're gonna do is they're
gonna send you the games through email
okay and then from these games you're
gonna download these games and then
you're gonna start playing these games
now this is super important though
because you have to give your feedback
so you actually have to physically talk
into the phone now it's not like you're
gonna be holding up you're just playing
the game you're talking and you're just
talking about the game what's good with
it what's bad with it what you don't
like what you do like so you're just
gonna be giving your feedback now what
this is is the companies that pay for
the service they're going to get that
feedback from you and then they're gonna
be able to change up the game they're
gonna be able to say okay this person
didn't like this they didn't like this
they can get some feedback then they'll
change the game's up and then they can
release it to the public so you come to
this right here and you have an iOS or
an Android device now I recommend if you
have both that's great you can use this
on a tablet it doesn't really matter as
long as you have an iOS device or an
Android device for me I have both so I
have both an Android phone I have an iOS
phone I have some iOS tablets I have
some Android tablets also so I can test
different games and I can give feedback
on the different games so the a couple
different things a couple things that
you're going to understand here so let
me just say so one of the couple of
questions that come up is is that is
this a job no this is not a job this is
BAE it's just a fun way to make some
extra money you're gonna it's gonna be
about 15 minutes per test and then
you're gonna be paid about nine dollars
for that and you can do as many tests
you want now this is limited to just
people in the US UK and Canada I
apologize if you're outside of that that
area now they do have testing available
in outside of that area so you'd make
sure you want to join it's just that at
the moment those three countries are
where most of the you know the people
that come in with the you know the games
are coming from okay but don't don't let
that deter you make sure you go there
sign up because if somebody's in your
country and they just create an app
they're gonna need some testers and if
you're the only person in that country
boom you're gonna get paid so you get
paid in PayPal PayPal is the only way to
do to get paid out so
Pal is not available in your country
then you're gonna need to just you're
gonna need to figure out a way to get
paypal that's how you get paid on this
some other things that that
so when you're the most important thing
is is and I can say this from experience
is that if you play the game and you
don't give any feedback you're not gonna
be able to make any money with this
you've got to be able to give feedback
to the the game creators it's so
important that you do that because they
need that feedback so they can change up
the game so if the game is just not
playing good if you don't like it
whatever it is be honest about it play
the games and then give your feedback
and what they're gonna do is all they're
gonna do is they're gonna see your
screen
okay why did you're playing the games
and they're gonna record your voice
that's it there's nothing else gonna
happen to your phone and like that's
just they're gonna take that data
they're gonna use that data just to
screen and the what you said and then
you're gonna get paid for that okay so
just understand that you have to give
really honest feedback on this I know so
many people that that have used this and
then they play the game they don't give
any feedback and then they don't get
paid for and they get frustrated and
because the people that pay in the money
they need to get feedback they need to
get something in return so that's the
reason why they come to play test cloud
is to get their feedback on the games
that they create so when any time but a
new game creator creates a game he's
going to or he/she is going to come to
play test cloud and they're gonna say
okay I need this game test it out I need
it checked I need to make sure that it's
all good and it may be just in the early
stage of the game so you might be
playing it there might be a lot of
things wrong with it so that you're
gonna get be giving your feedback on hey
this game sucks I don't like it
it doesn't work okay whatever you can
say just say it I mean it's not like
it's if it you know it's not gonna hurt
them it's actually gonna help them okay
so the more honest you are the better
it's going to be for for them so just
make sure you head over to play test
cloud it's a fun way to make some extra
money
like I said nine dollars per every 15
minutes you can do as many tests as you
can and this is a fun way for you to
travel and be home and all that good
stuff and just make some extra side
