hey miles here miles Becca calm in this
video you're going to learn how to come
up with new ideas every day for your
know I'm a huge proponent of you
emailing your list more I've been doing
a 90 day challenge where I've emailed my
list every day for 90 days and this
video will share with you an exercise
that you're gonna be able to kind of
fill out a piece of paper or essentially
just take a notepad and come up with
your main categories of email topics so
every day that you're like okay what am
i a mailing today you can go back to
this list of categories you create for
yourself that's gonna be unique to you
you're gonna go back to that and that's
where you will be able to spark your new
ideas for your email marketing from now
what you need to do is realize that
within your niche market right your
niche market is a group of people who
share a common need and they're all
seeking to either solve a problem or
achieve a goal right so within that
there's usually six to eight maybe ten
different things right different areas
or topics of ideas that those
individuals will need to pay attention
to there's the internal game right
there's the emotional side there's the
external game there's the physical side
right there's always going to be many
levels of how you're able to look at it
so I want you to grab a piece of paper
and take notes how this applies for your
niche and for me to give you an example
of this I'm choosing a random niche my
random niche is if I was helping Little
League baseball coaches coach their
teams to the championship in their local
Little League game right so my niche
audience are coaches who coach Little
League baseball teams to help those
Little League Baseball teams win their
little local championships that's my
niche that I'm using for this so within
this niche I want to start by looking at
the internal and the external right so
there's two ways you can look at the
internal and external for this specific
niche number one is how to work with the
kids right you're trying to get a group
of young kids I think t-ball starts as
little as five six years old upwards of
16 years old when kids kind of get into
the the high school ball getting ready
for college ball so in that world that
the first challenge is the the challenge
of reach
the kids of connecting with the kids of
helping those kids get inspired and
motivated to work together as a team
towards a common goal
then there's the external side of it
which is the catching the throwing the
actual things the actual act of the game
of baseball right how do you get the
kids to build the skills they need to
actually perform on the field then
there's the mental side of it how do you
get the kids to build their mental game
strong enough so when you're down in the
ninth inning and there there's one
at-bat left and the kid walks up to bat
he's not totally stressed out totally
freaking out he's used to that
experience he's comfortable that
experience and he's ready to perform at
the top of his game in that moment
already we've found three specific
little segments of topics that you could
always go back to you can always teach a
tip of a team-building exercise or how
to get the team to work together how to
get the team to create a goal for
themselves then there's always going to
be tactical how-to helpful information
how to get new drills to help kids learn
how to catch better new drills to help
kids learn how to pitch better how to
throw better there's so many different
aspects of the game that those could be
broken down in even more ways right
there then there's the strategy right
you can also talk about the strategy for
the coaches maybe there's a required
number of innings to play for each kid
and there's a strategy or two that you
could talk about because the game of
baseball is a ton of strategy and that's
yet another segment for this really I
want you to just see that when you break
up the whole pie that the proverbial pie
that is the the audience achieving their
goal into the little segments what are
all of the moving parts and pieces that
add up to them achieving their desired
goal right so Mike coaches want to
achieve the goal of winning the local
championships there's a lot of things
that need to happen it may look at first
glance on the surface like okay you got
to get really good of pitching catching
throwing the ball running the bases
hitting the ball batting drills etc but
honestly there's this whole mental side
for the kids there's this whole
team-building side to get the team going
on
there's the strategy of the game of
baseball you could teach each one of
those different components and all
we've identified six to eight different
topics and then you can write an email
on Monday about topic one on Tuesday
about topic B and you bounced around
from topic to topic so you're never
having to go too deep on one thing
you're never having to give away
everything that you sell right if you
have a membership program where you give
all the drills and the video drills you
don't necessarily give that information
away you tell stories around that
information you allude to the truth that
lie within the information and that way
you can drop in your PS PS if you want
our actual video training that's gonna
show you how to implement this for your
team in one practice click here and join
our coaches membership program that's
one of the easiest ways for you to use
email marketing to grow your business is
to consistently send out useful helpful
funny informative entertaining emails
that have a call to action in the PS
line of your email that reference them
back to your course your membership
whatever it is I've got a few notes that
I wanted to make sure I cover because
every niche is different right the game
of baseball has the the physical skills
there's how you hold the ball as a
pitcher is a big deal for pitchers right
how a catcher comes out of a catching
position to throw down to second base to
get a runner who's trying to steal a
second there's a lot to that that your
niche might not have so the first place
I want you to look is the internal and
the external right every every world
everything from sports to to health care
there's an internal and an external so
if you think about nurses or caregivers
right there's the internal game of what
that caregivers through going through
mentally personally right the distress
the the challenges and the emotions that
they're having to deal with then there's
the external side of that which is
actually physically helping you know
doing the caretaking itself working with
the elderly patient or whatever the
patients may be if they're in a hospice
situation right how to work with the
patient's themselves and then how to
kind of manage the emotions and the
energy for themselves so internal
external so write down what are the
internal aspects of your business model
your niche your problem your solution
your market and what are the external
components of that the second one it
could overlap here but physical
and mental you know they say that
Olympic athletes what separates a gold
medal Olympic athlete is not their
physical prowess it's what's going on in
their mind right so it's the
visualization might be a part of it so
it's the taking time to meditate it's
taking time in nature it's getting out
and away from your desk as a digital
entrepreneur as a way to come back to be
refreshed and ready to tackle all of
your problems
it's about scheduling time away from the
computer is just as important as being
on your computer hustling 14 hours a day
so there's those ways those types of
things to talk about the physical and
the mental then you can talk about what
they need to do and what they need to
avoid right there's the the pitfalls and
then there's what they need to do a lot
of what I talk about is avoiding the
kind of trap the shiny objects the fake
gurus sales messaging that makes things
sound easy so that's what they avoid
what do they need to do they need to put
in the work they you need to create the
content you need to grow a list you need
to publish content on a very regular
basis so I could talk about different
aspects of the need to and I can also
talk about the aspects of the avoid and
if you've been on my email list for any
time at all you know that I've got my
power of unsubscribed messaging that
comes out and I try to remind you
regularly to unsubscribe from the fake
gurus who keep sending you webinar
registrations because all they're trying
to do is sell you stuff and distract you
from the goal and then I might talk
about what the goal is and what you need
to do and be that heartbeat of
information of do the work put out the
content publish your content right
then there's the history and the current
so what's going on currently within your
world right within that which you're
teaching people the the problems that
you're solving what's the leading edge
but you can also look back at the
history of things I do this a lot with
my niche in talking about the older
copywriting books and the older
direct-response marketing world because
I think there's a lot of knowledge in
those historical documents those books
from the 40s the 50s to 60s I call those
historical documents that's hilarious
anyone who's born in the 40s 50s to the
60s is like come on miles but but really
like I think you understand what I'm
saying is the the leading edge today all
the fake goos are promoting high P
ninja tactics that are actually built on
these core values in these core ideas
that the direct response marketing world
and the direct mail world mastered in
the 1950s so I like to talk a lot about
the past and I like to reference and
share a lot about those past I don't
want to call him guru they were the
experts they were the real deal they
were in the trenches for 30 40 50 years
writing advertising that paid today you
get people who read a book or two and
then they go create $197 course because
they have access to Facebook ads and
they think that's how the game works so
that's one of my contrasting points that
I can talk about then break down and
list all the working parts all of the
moving pieces that someone has to get
right to create success online or create
success with your niche for me it's
success online for you it's success
online but your niche you might be
helping people become better horseback
riders and you'll need to talk about and
break down all those working pieces I
alluded to this in the baseball kind of
analogy or the baseball niche idea that
I shared a moment to go because
ultimately in the baseball world there's
a lot of moving pieces to building the
skills that a kid would need in order to
be playing at a kind of championship
level right the throwing the catching
the base running understanding the
strategy how to bunt how to swing how to
you know all the different pieces of the
physical game would need to be addressed
talked about you could talk about that
at different points in time
now you're probably gonna have trainings
that you're gonna be selling ultimately
that really go deep into those pieces
but you want to talk about those things
you want to allude to them you want to
share tidbits of ideas potentially share
incomplete ideas that give them an idea
or one thing to work on but if they want
four or five if they want all of the
drills if they want the videos on how to
execute these drills that's where they
can go get more for the internet
marketing world that I'm here in sharing
with you on this brand and on this
channel right there's there's growing
your audience there's identifying your
audience there's figuring out what their
needs are there's email marketing
there's growing your list there's
marketing funnels there's paid
advertising there's conversion rate
optimization there's sales pages there's
the tech the the marketing stack right
the the thrive themes what theme do you
use how do you build your landing pages
how do you build your membership
programs what shopping carts do you use
of those moving pieces or items that I
have and can and will continue to talk
about in emails now my emails are
generally 300 to 500 words each
sometimes they get upwards of a thousand
words when I'm telling a really good
story but ultimately I'm just trying to
give one helpful insightful entertaining
informative message per day that's
relevant to one of these different
aspects of the business and every
business is different because every
niche is different but this is where you
as a leader as someone who's a helpful
individual in the world of that
marketplace who's ready to go help a
group of people an audience achieve
their goals and avoid their biggest
fears when you really stand in that
power and you start to talk about all of
the different aspects the mental aspects
the emotional aspects the internal
challenges the external challenges the
external skills that need to be built
all of these different pieces you have
the ability to share helpful insightful
information on and since you have
already gone there right you've been
where they are you've been in that place
of lack you didn't have it figured out
you didn't achieve the goal just like
back in the day I was not making money
online I was spending way too much money
on fake gurus I was not taking the right
actions I wasn't growing a list I wasn't
growing a business online I was there
and then something shifted and I started
doing the things I needed to do and I
started getting my mental conversation
going in the right direction I started
taking actions like unsubscribing from
all of the fake gurus and I started
putting in the work of growing my
audience through YouTube videos growing
my list through email opt-in pages
emailing my list to build relationships
and ultimately offering products and the
result is I've created a million dollar
plus business so now I get to share all
of those different aspects internal
external mental physical all of the
pieces of the puzzle the tactical the
bits and pieces with you through my
email marketing to help you go from
where you're at of not having a
successful business yet online to get to
your desired goal because I've been
there so I know what it takes and that's
what I share in my emails I don't give
it all away I don't give all of the
tactics and how-to away in the emails
because I want to keep it
short for people and then I often will
reference in a PS or in a link within
the body and I've got another email
marketing video I'll have the link to
that video pop up above and I reference
how to get more information when we
touch on a topic that has you thinking
ah I need more of that you click on the
link you may get a free video that goes
deep into the topic so you might get an
affiliate link that will take you to a
paid product that will really go deep
and be the master class on that product
for you it just depends on where we are
in that conversation where you're trying
to get to and if I've touched on that
one most important step for you that
feels like yes I must solve this problem
right now if that's an opt-in page thing
and I send you a well-timed link to my
video that shows you how to build an
opt-in page and in that video I
recommend you use thrive themes
architect you click through and buy
because you're following my step-by-step
video I just earned income because I
spent the time to build out a video
series that teaches you how to solve a
problem then I took the time to build an
audience to capture your attention then
I built the time to build an opt-in page
to get you on my list and then I took
the time to write my emails about the
different variety of topics that are
dear to you in helping you achieve your
goal and some point on that path I hit
that one video that had that aha moment
for you that made you realize yes I need
to solve this problem right now you were
ready to solve that problem you click
through you trust because we built that
trust through the communication that
we've done before you took action I earn
income you get your desired result
everyone is happy and then every day you
go right back to my list of topics if I
don't have an idea of what to email and
I just pick something from that list
that could be mental it could be
physical it could be tactical it could
be emotional it could be internal it
could be external and I just start
writing and I share that with the world
and you'll find that as you do it more
and more it'll get easier
it'll get fun you'll become a better
writer people will engage and they'll
love to get your emails from you I
highly recommend that you you step up
and you at least double your email
marketing that you've been doing I
recommend you try at least a 30-day
challenge where you write one email a
day for 30 days you'll be amazed at the
results both for you as a writer and as
an email marketer but also the results
with the engagement of your list as you
become a better email marketer you'll
find
your list is going to respond they're
gonna get more engaged when they get
more engaged they'll click more when
they click more ultimately you will earn
more as an affiliate marketer or an
internet marketer I hope this video has
been helpful for you if you've enjoyed
