First Day in Lisbon, Portugal! (Video 2 from my 1st Trip to Europe)

- Azul, Azul.
Ha-ha, there he is.
It's Azul!
- Hi brother.
- How are you?
- Good.
- Good to see you, good to see you man, nice to meet you.

Alright, so, we are transferring trains.
I don't know where we're going,
I just have my tour guides here, Azul, Steve.
Are we goin' in, okay.
So we'll go to the hotel, drop off my stuff,
then maybe we can get a bite and coffee,
and just do whatever--
(high shrill beeping)

(bus engine)
(man speaking in foreign language)
The 12, we're on the 12E,
and we're just touring around the city.
And looking at the amazing buildings
and artwork and architecture and graffiti.
Some really cool tiles.
So look at those tiles.
There's a tile store up there.
Alright so what's the plan now?
- We're heading down to the main port,
where the boats have been coming in for hundreds of years.
- There's water over there, scope it out.
- The view coming backwards to city, it's kinda cool.
- Let's check it out, wahoo.
(upbeat music)
(waves crashing)
I can't read that right now.
- [Azul] Cafe Esplanada.
- I'm so tired.
(Azul laughs)
But I'm trying to fight through and
stay up 'til normal bedtime so I
can be good for Friday and Saturday.
But we had a good day lookin' at all kinds of things
in Lisbon and we're gonna probably see a castle tomorrow,
maybe, which is gonna be really cool, but
I'm looking forward to my cappuccino, that's for sure.
(Azul laughs)
(relaxing music)
Alright, we're closin' in on the end of the day.
We're gonna go get some Argentinean food
and I'm makin' sure I don't trip on the way down.
But it's been a good day.
(people talking in background)
- [Steve] I want a nice, red Portuguese.
- [Waitress] Red Portuguese?
- [Steve] Portuguese, yeah, absolutely.
- [Waitress] So a bottle?
- [Azul] Yeah we could.
- [Waitress] This one is nice, the Ameritro.
The Adragia is also very nice.
- [Azul] To friends.
- [Narrator] To friends.
- [Steve] Fabulous.
- [Narrator] Mmmm (laughs).
(guitar plays in background)
- Trousers, so they could walk around outside
and slowly let the sand, you know,
sort of, dribble onto the ground,
so that the Germans didn't find out
they were digging a hole, an escape.
(people talking in background)
(guitar plays)
- [Narrator] Bravo, bravo.
- [Guitar Player] (mumbles) Thanks,
thanks for your attention.
- [Narrator] Thank you.
(people talking in background)
- Alright, so, I'm gettin' on the subway,
headed back 'cuz my legs are tired,
they're like rubber, but had a
great day spending time in Lisbon.
And I'm excited for tomorrow, and then
I got the speaker's dinner tomorrow night.
Then it's Saturday, speakin',
beginning of the day, which is nice,
so I can get that done with and
I can have fun and be present,
and not have to worry about the
presentation later in the day.
(subway train)
(cars driving)
So it's been a great day, met a lot of great people.
Got home and I decided to go through
the presentation just a couple more times,
just, at least the start of it.
And so I'm gonna get some rest,
so I'll be good and fired up
for tomorrow, it's gonna be a lot of fun.
