time this video here i'm gonna talk
about guest posting and i'm gonna hit it
at a real high level this is gonna be a
quick one because it's sort of later in
the afternoon my wife's on the way home
so i'm gonna try and go fast i'm not
going to answer too many questions just
a couple if i have time
the big thing i want to tell you about
is guest posting all right like i
mentioned i'm gonna hit this at a high
level i want to tell you that if you

then i'll talk more about that later
after i hit the core content that i'm
gonna go over the other two links are

guest posting templates as well so that
should be pretty easy for you to get to
you just click you enter your name and
email you could download them all that
stuff so be sure to check that stuff out
so as I mentioned guest posting at a
high level
really simple two-step process I call it
high touch outreach and it really is two
steps and basically you're networking
with in either your niche or related
niche and then after that you're gonna
ask for a guest post and it sounds like
my wife is actually getting home now so
hopefully George you made it out of here
okay good to go so basically it's a
two-step process and that's it
two steps very straightforward there are
some sub steps in there I'll tell you
I'm making it a little bit simpler
but usually the longer hey I'm doing a
livestream you want to come in and say
hello there see she's peeking in the
door there okay rare appearance so the
longer you spend on step one which is
networking the better you're gonna do on
step two and in fact one of the videos
in the description I talked about
several different ways that you can
network and develop a stronger
connection and really it's all about the
networking and it'll set you apart from
your competition in fact your
competition is probably not going to be
able to replicate your backlinks and
guest posts if you spend time doing this
relationship building and the thing is
if you do that sort of first step of
networking with blog commenting you're
halfway there I mean a lot of people are
not going to take the time to go out and
do blog hunting it's not hard to do it
just takes a few minutes for each one of
the comments that you leave but as a
blogger myself I know that it's kind of
rare when you get a comment and someone
can you know leave a couple comments and
I'll remember who they are it's just the
way it goes next I'll give you a couple
tips about networking so comments on the
blog you could email them you can maybe
share some of their content or even link
to their site and somewhat now you can
do any of those you could figure out
other ways to network but the whole idea
is that you're making sure that the
person knows who you are and maybe they
like you and that's even better if they
like you a little bit and they trust you
and then when you ask for a guest post
you know worst case scenario they're
just gonna say yeah you know what I
don't think it's a good fit for me right
now versus if you do cold outreach where
you're just sending out tons and tons of
emails you're just going to get tons and
tons of rejections which is not cool all
right
you'll question if it's gonna even work
at that point but again relationship
building is really the key here now a
couple things I want to point out I see
some more people hopped on there's a few
links in the description and one of the
as I am talking more about guest posting
is I am currently rolling out a guest
posting service very limited basis in
fact you can sign up today but I'm only
gonna leave it open until Saturday at
the latest just because there's only so
many you know people that I could work
with
I can't work with every single site by
the way but I can work with most sites
if you follow the link in the
description for my guest posting service
then you'll see exactly the details and
the main thing when I do these guest
posting campaigns is I want to make sure
that any site that I'm guest posting on
or that my service works with that they
have like real natural organic traffic I
don't want to post on a on a site where
like no one goes to it they don't rank
for anything they get no traffic I want
to make sure it's a site that gets some
traffic that's sort of the threshold
okay I see a couple questions popping up
I see Tahoe says can I speak about
scaling up yeah so this is not going to
be a great answer I'll be
straightforward let me ask you this talk
can you have you been successful in
getting like say five or six guest posts
do you already know how to do that and
then I'll come back and answer the
question the more thorough way so as I
mentioned get used to rejection all
right you're probably going to get
rejected a lot and if you are warming
people up you're building the
relationship that's gonna be better but
most the time you're still not you're
still not going to get the acceptance
right you're gonna get rejected and it's
sad you just have to get used to it if
you are sending out sort of cold or
you're not spending time to build a
relationship people are gonna ignore the
email they're gonna tell you maybe they
write their own content and they don't
do guest post they're going to ask if
you really read their blog they're gonna
ask you if you'll pay alright especially
if you don't build the relationship
they're gonna ask you to pay and
sometimes people will say yeah you know
right right now I don't think so I'm not
doing guest post but maybe in the future
and that's not bad in fact
the time unless you get a flat out
nowhere they ignore you I mean if they
respond back and kind I think that's a
win the other thing that I hear
sometimes is basically you know I've
sent out eight emails and you know no
one will accept my guest and it goes
back to the rejection idea if you are if
you've only send out a handful of emails
you probably need to send more if you've
only asked a couple times or you just
started the process you need to give it
more time you need to sort of practice
right this is a skill basically so you
will need to test things so maybe the
people that you first approached and
networked with maybe they weren't the
right audience for you so maybe you need
to go back to the drawing board
and maybe find some different people to
network with maybe they were too close
of competitors to you maybe you need to
go like a little bit further out and
find other blogs to approach okay so
Taha says and someone says what did I
miss
al-mehdi so what's up good to have you
on basically we're talking guest posting
in this and the value of guest posting
there's a couple links in the

that I'm rolling out just for a few days
here only accepting a very small number
of clients and it's already filling up
so that that's great it's great that
it's already filling up and may not even
stay open until Saturday but we'll see
how it goes
so Taha'a question was can I speak about
scaling up guest posting and my question
back was well have you been able to get
you know say five or ten guest post and
Taha'a answer is no not really I haven't
even started guest posting yet but you
want to know you wanted to know on
spending hold on I wondered but wanted
to kind of plan on spending my resources
on it invest on getting to know
influence and your niche and then get
them to know you and little by little
open up the conversation but that takes
a lot of effort I believe yes indeed
that is correct so here the reason why I
ask that question a lot of times people
you want to figure out like how can I
scale this up and if you haven't started
yet you shouldn't worry about that yet
you really need to develop like the
skills and the specific area that you're
you know trying to scale right you've
got to figure out how to do that in a
non scalable way then and only then
after you figured that out and you've
tested a couple I guess like processes
you've tested emails you've been able to
figure out how to do it on a non
scalable basis then you can figure out
how to scale it my unhelpful answer is
if you can do this
and you can get say five guest posts
let's say in the course of one month
well then you can basically do more of
that you just have to hire more people
to help you that's it now some people
are going to tell you well you know what
I think
when automate these emails and I want to
really scale it up so I can send out
hundreds of emails per week I'm gonna
tell you I think that's a bad idea and I
think it's it's a cool idea to automate
stuff but as I mentioned before if you
have not honed your craft in this case
if you haven't honed how you're doing
the outreach if you don't know the right
kind of emails to send if you don't know
if the subject line is gonna work right
you don't know if the openings gonna
work right and then you send out
hundreds of emails we just burned your
whole list of people that you were gonna
reach out to and it's a bad idea
so almost with everything you need to
start in an unscalable way handle it
yourself and then once you figure out
how to do it then you can scale it up or
you can hire me follow the link in the
description all right I gotta head out
shortly so I'm just gonna look at a
couple questions and see what's going on
so soo gyum says I think asking for any
favor don't work
well I think you should you know have a
more optimistic attitude so I think if
you're going in thinking that asking for
a favor
isn't gonna work then I can assure you
that it will not so yeah next Tahoe says
you understand you basically mean the
lean way for doing things thank you all
right great and sue boom also says the
automation tools suck and I can tell you
from a person who gets like probably a
dozen emails a week asking for something
and then I get like three but from
people that I do not know by the way
that's the problem right I don't know
the people that are asking me okay I
want a guest post on your site I don't
know who it is it's clear that they're
only asking for something that'll help
them and literally it's creating work
for me so I'm not gonna do that it's bad
idea right it's only for them and it's
very clear and then I get nothing out of
it at all and then they clearly don't
even read the blog right that's the
worst case scenario and then the worst
part they send me like reminder emails
like every two days like hey did you see
my message about something that you
obviously don't care about anyway
I don't think there's automation tools
are gonna work
so well in the future because Google is
you know or not Google specifically but
Gmail for example is what I use get
smarter and smarter about the emails
that I mark as spam so I see fewer and
fewer of those and I think those are not
gonna work as well and networking and
the personal touch is gonna be something
that really makes a difference all right
I'll check out just a couple more
questions so that's weird you were
waiting for this to start and you had a
blank screen finally goes live and I say
I'm about to head out I guess there was
a glitch perhaps freedom hustler perhaps
just rewind it and I'm trying to keep
some of the live streams it's a tiny bit
shorter but yeah just rewind it and
watch it from the start I'll probably be
hopping on again tomorrow and for sure
on Friday I'll be doing the live stream
in the morning Q&A I'll probably put up
another post so you could put up your
question

posting service just open for a couple
days till Saturday or until I get 10
customers it's already started filling
up pretty fast so I think I may close it
before Saturday so if you're interested
you do need to hop on I will open it up
periodically from time to time but now
is a great time to get some links for
the holiday season and next ok so Jack
Kay I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing it
right says I can't think of any value
you can provide for establish site
owners in exchange for a guest post so I
think if you have a unique take or you
can consolidate and curate some
information from other sites that could
be valuable so you know having a
valuable piece of content is something
that everybody wants on their site and
if you could you know if you have the
chops to write it or you can hire a
writer and provide you know a good guest
post that'll work ok and El med says do
you think a follow-up email for outreach
for an outreach guest post email that
has not been answered is a good idea it
depends I have done that in the past but
on a personal level I get so many of
these reminder emails that I probably
would I
I would insure right so if you remember
the first couple steps is to network I
would ensure that I am a friendly person
to whomever I'm sending the email to all
right so if they know who I am and they
have we've sent some emails back and
forth
they're probably going to answer my
email the emails that I don't appreciate
and that I would recommend don't send to
follow-up emails don't send an e cold
email pitch and then keep sending an
email to a person that's I think that's
just a little bit rude just in general I
think it probably works on some level
but I hate emails so that's why
I'm saying that and I think moving
forward it's probably gonna be less and
less effective because I mean the
automated email is clearly automated and
I see a little unsubscribe link at the
bottom of that like that's straight-up
spam I mean they're sending me automated
emails that I didn't sign up for and I
have to unsubscribe that's straight-up
spam so that's why I don't recommend it
if you spent the time to build a
relationship then yeah you can send a
follow-up email and at that point if you
read some of the other material that I
have out there and guest posting
networking and stuff like that you
probably are following them on Instagram
you may have you know a thread going
back and forth on Facebook Messenger or
something like that Jared's on what's
up/ok
and Suba mentions you should offer
something before asking for something
