channel and you really unsure how to

start well in this video I'm gonna

actually give you the tools everything

you need to get started with the YouTube

channel but I'm also going to get into

kind of why you should have a youtube

channel I'm gonna show you some good

examples of YouTube channels and I'm

gonna show you examples of not or

not-so-good YouTube channels and also if

you stick around at the end I'll show

you a free tool that I use that helps me

create videos and you can use the same

YouTube and you know why even YouTube

you know you think about well I want to

start a channel why even start a YouTube

channel well if you're you know like me

I want to create value from the people I

want to get out there and create videos

and help you and help other people out

there with marketing and there's a lot

of good ways to take your knowledge take

what you know and just put it on to a

youtube video and get it out there and

let people you know share your expertise

or knowledge or just share your you know

what's going on in your day-to-day

activity

now why would why would we spend time

why would we even waste time on a

YouTube channel well number one it can

do a lot of things for you it you can

make money obviously with ads on your

YouTube channel you can build a list

with your YouTube channel you can grow

an audience with your YouTube channel

there's a lot of things that comes about

with your YouTube channel that kind of

you know just it just kind of evolves

when you when you build this now the

first thing I want to really stress to

you is this when you go out there and

you watch a channel you sit and they got

all these subscribers and they look like

they're just you know high on on the

mountain they're everybody started with

zero and everybody started with a new

YouTube channel okay nobody nobody

started with a million views or million

videos everybody started from scratch so

that's one thing you understand is when

you start you're starting from scratch

we all did I started from scratch I

started with no subscribers I started

creating videos when nobody was watching

so when you get started just know that

you got to start just like everybody

else no big deal

but we're all gonna be here forever I

mean we're not forever but we're all

gonna be here a long time

YouTube's gonna be around here a long

time don't worry about whether there's

you know there's people on YouTube and

there's so many channels that don't

worry about that your message is unique

and if you get it out there I promise

you there'll be tons and tons of people

that will eventually start to gravitate

to your channel and want to continue to

to look at your videos but let's I'm

gonna dive into some importance about

YouTube and the first thing I want to

really jump into is looking at a couple

of things here now this if I go to

similarweb this is the top website

rankings in the entire world

these are the websites that get the most

traffic throughout the whole internet

universe now obviously Google is number

one you see Facebook and then you see

YouTube number three and what's

important here to understand is this is

Google is a search engine

okay Google owns YouTube so Google and

YouTube are together it's their their

combined it's two it's one company and

they combine it together Google loves to

promote YouTube inside of their search

engine I don't know if they like to

promote Facebook but once you have a

YouTube channel they love to take your

videos and promote them inside of the

Google search engine and when you get

promoted by Google you get tons and tons

of traffic when you get promoted inside

of the YouTube universe you get tons and

tons of traffic so just understand that

so if you're on Facebook Facebook and

you promote a YouTube channel Facebook's

not gonna help you promote your YouTube

channel Google is totally gonna help you

and you'll see like I care here how to

make money on YouTube you can see the

videos pop up right here okay so how to

or make money on YouTube right so this

is the first page of Google for this

keyword videos pop appear how about this

how to start a YouTube channel there's

videos on the number one I mean right

here like if you want to do how to start

a YouTube channel videos pop up right

here so anytime you have a particular

keyword that somebody goes to Google and

they type in that keyword your video

could pop up on to Google which is it's

just crazy to think about that Google is

going to promote your YouTube channel

your YouTube videos over anybody else

they're not going to promote Facebook

they're not gonna promote anybody else

so just understand that key difference

when you jump into that so so let's look

let's just talk about a YouTube channel

what what are you going to start your

YouTube channel with now here's what I

recommend you doing finding something

that you enjoy picking like a certain

niche and then you stick with that on

your channel don't move around and let

me show you some examples here so if you

are going to start a gaming channel then

all you do is gaming you don't do

anything else you just do gaming okay

this is a great example the gaming lemon

they have 3.8 million subscribers

all he does is gaming just gaming over

and over again he just creates videos of

gaming okay it's gaming channels are

huge

people love to sit and watch other

people play games online you know I

think was crazy but I really enjoy

watching new video games that come out

seeing how people play and seeing what

the game looks like then you know if I

want to go buy the game I can do that

alright so let's look at another one

here CrossFit this is health and

wellness if you're gonna do a CrossFit

or if you can do weight loss you're

gonna do something about you know

helping people succeed you know with

their health and fitness then you stick

with that channel it's all you do is you

videos just on that ok nothing but like

if you're gonna do CrossFit all you do

is videos on CrossFit now here's another

example real estate okay so meet Kevin

right here all he does is real estate

this it's it real estate investing

lending you know he does drone pilots he

probably goes over overtop of real

estate properties okay so all his videos

are gonna be about real estate and the

real estate market now signing up with a

getting started with the YouTube channel

is very easy just go to gmail.com once

you sign up with Gmail comm it's free

then you basically go to youtube and you

have your YouTube channel I mean they're

just combined the two together so just

go to gmail sign up and you have a

YouTube channel ready to go now I'm

going to show you example of a YouTube

channel

what not to do

jerry i love this guy and and for

longest time and said thank you somebody

pointed this out to me i couldn't think

of this video the other day so the

person that pointed this out to me thank

you

jerry i love this guy and he's had great

videos but he started to he easily had

marketing videos okay he he would have

marketing videos on how to do facebook

and how to you know do facebook ads and

then he started jumping into the crypto

market right this whole investing in

crypto which is a totally different

niche then you know running ads on

facebook and now he does gaming videos i

mean i I mean his subscribers are just

confused I'm sure he's losing a ton of

subscribers and I know I did I

unsubscribe from him but he's just this

is an example of what not to do

okay I don't know if if you're going to

start a channel right and it's going to

be let's say CrossFit and you decide you

know what I want to start doing gaming

videos

don't put gaming videos on your CrossFit

Channel start a brand new channel you

can start multiple channels if you want

start a brand new channel that's all

weird toward gaming if you if you're

gaming for a while and you decide you

know what I want to start talking about

cryptocurrency start a channel just on

cryptocurrency okay don't mix up to two

because your subscribers that come there

they're coming there to see what it is

that you're talking about in that

particular niche on your channel so

Jerry man you got to go back to

marketing this whole gaming thing is

just you know or start a new channel on

gaming I don't know what why you jumped

all over there because I'm sure his

subscribers were just leaving in hordes

alright so when you get a channel

together right there's a couple things

you got here you got this up this image

it's up top here and I highly recommend

you put it in your you know social media

accounts here you can put in your

website if you want but you have this

image up here and then you're gonna have

some nail that go with the videos user a

program called canva com

they have great templates that you can

use like right here YouTube thumbnail

template you click on that you can edit

it you don't have to know anything about

graphics or any like that you just you

can edit the text and then you can save

the image and you can use that as your

thumbnail

right down here is going to be so

YouTube channel art you see this right

here

YouTube channel art okay that's going to

be this top image right here that's

YouTube channel art so canva will help

you create it it'll take you two seconds

again you don't need to know anything

about graphics all these templates are

ready to go click on one find one change

out the text put your name in there and

then X you know export it save it and

then you upload it to YouTube and you're

good to go so starting a channel is

super easy just use canva to do artwork

and then to create videos right I use

this free software called screencast

screen o matic

okay sign up for it's free what this is

is going to be a screen capture device

it's going to capture your your computer

screen whatever you see on your computer

screen o matic will capture this so if

you're doing tutorials on how to do

stuff or how to do things online use

screen o matic

and then once you're you just you know

you can talk over a mic if you want you

don't even have to use a webcam like

this and you can start using screen o

matic

now if you don't have screen o matic and

you don't want to use computer pick up

your phone right take your phone i you

know when i started my channel i had my

iphone 5 and i would just turn it on and

start talking into it and i would upload

the video right into the YouTube app I

mean right now with YouTube with your

phone you can actually hit record talk

into the phone and then hit stop and

it'll automatically upload to your

YouTube channel so there's all kinds of

different ways to create videos do it

with screen o matic

pick up your phone just have some fun

with it you know enjoy it but think

about when you're doing this think about

when you're creating the video when you

get out there you want to create value

for other people you want to help people

succeed in something else whether it be

marketing whether it be Fitness whether

it be gaming you know anything like that

gaming is for entertaining that's

creating value for other people so just

think about that when you're creating

channels just how am I gonna help

somebody else you know not think about

yourself just think about how am I gonna

help you know my neighbor my best friend

or my mom or how much how can I help my

my brother or sister or you know my

aunt's my uncles your cousins how can

you help them right what would

they what's going on with them create a

video put it up on your channel and then

you just continue to do that and they

should be consistent with it once you're

consistent and you're creating new

videos you're gonna have Travers coming

your channel life is gonna be good and

then you can figure out what you want to

do with your channel later down the road

if you want to monetize it with ads you

can do that if you want to build a list

you can do that if you want to you know

send to affiliate offers you can do that

totally up to you how you want to

monetize or how you want to advance your

channel I do think that you should be

monetizing your channel you should if

you're going to be creating videos why

not make some extra money doing it why

not get paid for your effort okay so

that's all you have to do is start in a

youtube channel keep these things in

mind and I think that you'll have great

success once you get your channel up and

running and you start moving forward so
