hey it's Doug Huntington here and I'm
the founder of niche site project and
I'm sitting with Dave who created a
really awesome theme for Amazon
Azon theme and we're basically gonna go
through a lot of basically background
information that you need to know
probably to set up the whole entire
theme and to use it really effectively
so Dave why don't you tell us a little
bit about yourself and about the theme
yeah hi my name is ade nicosia and i've
been a wordpress developer and affiliate
my little wordpress developer for about
6 or 7 years now and I've been into
affiliate marketing for about three or
four years now so I've been building
Amazon affiliate websites for quite a
while and back in 2014
beginning of 2014 was when I finally
built my first successful Amazon
affiliate website it was doing really
well earning a couple hundred dollars
per month so I thought you know let me
do some tracking of how people are using
the website and see if I can increase my
click-through rates and optimize as much
as possible so I did that over the
course of the year tracked all my data I
made a whole bunch of optimizations to
it and in the end I pretty much tripled
my click-through rates and really you
know fine-tune things so the site was
really performing well for me the site
got up to making about $600 a month and
was very successful for me it's since
slipped a little bit in the rankings
because we're doing ultimate days on
theme I haven't had as much time to
focus on that website but what happened
was the theme was really successful for
myself and I ended up showing it to a
few people and they expect expressed
interest in sharing the theme they want
to know if as a theme that they could
just install themselves at the time it
wasn't because you had to be a wordpress
developer to be able to set up a theme
but I decided that why don't my package
this up and offer it to people since it
works so good for me other people had
already expressed interest I just
thought you know would be a good thing
to do so I built the ultimate Azon theme
it's extremely close to the custom
website themelis built for myself
and here we are today so far over 150
people are using it and I get emails all
the time from people saying you know how
well it's working for them so it's
definitely been proven for me but
improving for a lot of other people so
we're here to tell you about how to set
it up correctly and get the most out of
it

and I think you know for me and one of
the big takeaways is just how clean the
theme looks out of the gates
obviously you're a developer and you
know how this like you know what good
sites look like so there's a lot of
presets built in there in addition you
get some real power through some product
settings we're gonna look at that stuff
later
and it really enables you to get again
out of the gates with a little bit of
setup a really beautiful looking site
that really sets you apart from anyone -
setting up a theme on you know basic
WordPress 2015 theme or any of the you
know free themes it totally blows it
away so one of the other things I see a
lot of people doing is using like table
press or even some of the nicer table
type comparison charts they look they
look kind of you know pedestrian
compared to what you put together and
it's super easy to set up your tables
you don't have to go to another plug-in
setting page and type in everything
manually this is way more
straightforward and it's clear that
you're a WordPress developer because you
set it up and it really easy to use way
so anyway I appreciate you taking the
