hey we're back again and this time we're
gonna set up the navigation bar for the
ultimate Azon theme alright so what
we're gonna do here is we're going to
come in to go to appearance and go to
some people have had a little bit
trouble setting up because I have the
custom pages for you 80 enabled so you
can add them easily to menu but as you
can see here when you come into your
your new menu area all you see is the
regular WordPress stuff so a lot of
people have had the question how do I
add my archive page to the main review
so there's a little tab up here in the
top right called screen options and some
of you might know about this I mean you
might not it's one of those things that
most people don't even realize is there
until they end up needing it someday so
if we click that little tab is going to
give you some different screen options
so if we look here we have a new post
type that we named cordless drills
earlier I can click cordless drills and
now you'll see a new category got added
in the left here so you can add links
directly to any of those we're also
gonna go ahead and check the one all the
way on the right here that's ultimate
Azon special page links so if we click
that you'll see another section added
over here so now once we close that
those will permanently show up there
every time you come to this page now so
we're going to go ahead and create this
menu called menu one and then next step
is we're gonna go ahead and check in the
menu settings area check it - header
menu right here to make sure this
displays is your main header navigation
so now if you come into this section
called ultimate Azon special page links
you're gonna see the cordless drill
archive and the brands archive in here
so we haven't set up any brand yet so
we're gonna leave that out but if you
click the cordless drill archive and
then add to menu you'll see add here and
then we're gonna go ahead and save the
menu so now if we view the front-end of
our website
we'll see the new menu that we just
created and save to the header spot and
then if you click on educational
articles this is what will show all of
your blog pages and then if we click on
cordless drills here this is gonna take
you to the archive of all the custom
post type of cordless drills you set up
here so that's really about all there is
to it and the main takeaway here is if
you don't see these options here come up
to screen options and make sure it's
checked off up here and that's basically
how you set up a menu
