about internal linking I'm displaying
the backlinko website on content
optimization strategies and internal
hyperlinks to point to pages
that's URLs on the same domain and
basically it's a really good way to
improve your ranking so if you want to
you could take a look a little little
deeper into what Brian Dean has
published on his site but the thing is
there's a great tool out there called
link whisperer which I personally use
and it helps you add links and it makes
it a lot easier and it's really hard to
go back and add links to like old
content it's a pain in the ass so you
just publish a new article and it's
pretty easy to insert links to your old
post and link Whisperer can help you do
that but the problem is when you are
publishing a new article usually it
doesn't have any links pointing to it
already I was coaching someone the other
day and they used a link whisperer but
they didn't know this functionality
exists it is the number one reason why I
bought link whisperer I am an affiliate
for link whisperer but I paid for it
I didn't get it for free I have a have
an ongoing subscription so I literally
use the tool and I want to show you
exactly how I would use it so there's
some some cool functionality as far as
link whisperer
so this is my review on link Whisperer
here if you want to check it out there's
links for that I also talked about just
linking internally in general but here
is the way we can dive into actually
using the tool this is my actual site
niche site project please check it out
if you haven't before basically I'm
gonna hop over to link whisper I'm gonna
look at the report the report shows you
all the internal links and they label
them as in beyond internal links and
outbound internal links so this post
here FAQ is about the keyword golden
ratio has no internal links pointing to
it so when I click there nothing is
listed some other posts
there they do have several links so I'm
gonna click on this one and you can see
there are several there are nine
there are several internal links and
what you could do I realized hey I
published something back in December 2nd
and then I didn't put any internal links
to it so all you have to do is click Add
and then it will spawn up a new tab here
it does some querying of the database
and then we're going to be able to add
those links it took like another 3
seconds but I took that out for you it's
very quick to query the database and you
saw I had like three hundred and fifty
some odd post so what we have here are
inbound link suggestions to this post so
basically you can go through here and
select the phrase within a post there
are other phrases in the post and we
could pick the one that we want so
obviously in this one I'm talking about
the keyword golden ratio a lot and I can
just pick the default here if I want to
which I will I will choose the default
and I will also change up the specific
anchor text so you could very easily
change the anchor text just by clicking
on the words and then you can click the
check box to accept that specific
internal link you can also just you know
there's obviously a ton of them here
which is great so you have many options
so you have the ability to add links to
dozens if you want to dozens of or from
dozens of different posts and I'm gonna
just select a few not at random I'm
actually gonna take a look at them so
you can get inside my warped mind and
maybe see how I actually I would use
this so I know that this two-step
process to ten extra Amazon affiliate
niche site is a very good post so I'm
gonna go ahead and use the keyword
golden ratio and how to use it that's a
nice one so I'm going to select that and
the tool has been improved over time
like many many times it's created by
Spencer Hawes / niche
and basically you end up with an an
ongoing like improving tool they're
adding features all the time super cool
that they're doing that and again I'm
just gonna pick a couple others key word
golden ratio content I'm gonna go ahead
and I kind of like long phrases
personally I like that I like to have a
long phrase I don't want to just use
keyboard golden ratio over and over
again so it's not totally random but I'm
not obviously I'm talking while I'm
clicking on these so I am not killing
too deep and let's let's go to one of
these and pick a different one just so
you can see that functionality so I'll
change it to you consider the key word
going to ratio and this long phrase I
just kind of dig long phrases so what
I'm gonna do is click Add links and
fingers cross but it's not going to
crash or anything you know the funny
thing whenever you're recording a video
and you didn't test it ahead of time you
never know what's gonna happen
alright success beautiful beautiful
beautiful we're back on this same big
report here so what I'm gonna do is just
click refresh link count and we should
see some showing up so this sends us to
like the data of this specific page the
full query so we see five inbound
internal links that's how many we added
and we have you know the data here so we
see there's five internal links and the
ones that we've added here so you you
should recognize the ones that I clicked
here I don't remember what they were cuz
I was talking at the time I'm gonna
return to the report and we shouldn't
see the five reflected right here so
this is a killer feature like I
mentioned it is literally the reason why
I bought links whisper and it it's a
it's changing the game as far as adding
links from old content to new content
