really excited because this weekend I'm
running an experiment and I need your
help when i published will it fly became
I didn't even know was possible this
book here and it did become a Wall
Street Journal bestseller because of you
and your support and so that opened up
my eyes and opened up a lot of people's
eyes to what is possible as a
self-published author now I want to take
this to the next level and I need your
help I want to see if we can actually
get will it fly on the shelves of a
barnes noble bookstore and i heard
through the grapevine that if enough
people actually ask for the book that
they might consider doing that for a
self-published author which of course
they would because that means people
want that book and they want to stop
books that people want of course even if
its self polished that's the theory at
least so that's where you come in now I
actually did confirm that you could
actually go to a barnes noble go to a
customer service desk i did this and ask
for the book the book is in the system
in the catalog that barnes and noble
orders their books from there was
already really funny story because i
actually was too afraid to tell this
person that my name was pat flynn
ordering my own book so i said my name
is Jim I mean anyway there was this
weird story about that but anyway two
days later I got the book my wife April
filmed me actually picking it up and
here's the receipt right there which was
really really cool so it is possible to
order a self-published book through a
big box bookstore like at barnes and
noble but i want to see if we can
actually have them stock it on the shelf
so here's what I need you to do this
weekend Saturday April thirtieth through
all the way Monday May seconds or three
days 72 hours go to your barnes and
noble call your local barnes number or
whatever order the book if you are
international a search on the barnes
noble website will help and that'll
actually help them see that there's a
query for it so if you can't pick up the
book because there are no Barnes &
Nobles nearby that will be the second
best thing but if you have access to a
local barnes noble go there or call and
ask for will it fly by pat flynn and
here's what's going to happen it's gonna
the barnes nobles going to call you a
couple days later and say it's going to
be in if you want to go and actually
pick it up if that's actually if you
order it and i encourage you to because
the first 500 people who do this i'm
actually going to pay for your coffee
and hopefully this shows you that this
isn't
me getting will it fly more sales this
is about us seeing if we can actually
get a self-published book on the
bookshelves in this manner so we're
gonna see what happens but go in order
it and then make sure you go to the
website there will be a link here in the
video or in the description or somewhere
around this where you can click and
actually submit your receipt if you also
as a bonus want to take a selfie with
the customer service rep that'd be kind
of cool and we'll make a fun story about
this we'll see what happens I'll
definitely keep you up to date and one
