this is a quick update so for the last
couple weeks I have been doing a
livestream on YouTube and on Facebook
my videos yesterday was flagged for some
kind of a violation by YouTube I'm not
sure what it surprised me a lot so they
they have sort of a three-strike type
system so this was like my first strike
and as a result they remove some of the
capabilities that you're eligible for on
YouTube one of those is live streaming
so that actually goofs up my scheduled
live streams and it actually impacts
some other stuff too which I I'll share
later
the point is I'm sharing this I'm going
to publish it so that hopefully people
that normally would attend the live
stream on YouTube can you know follow me
somewhere else I'll probably be on
Facebook live doing some stuff there I'm
only going to leave this video up for
you know a few hours so people can see
it if they need to and basically at this
point I've appealed that violation with
YouTube so hopefully I'll be able to get
a result quickly if you're watching this
you probably know I'm really enjoying
working on YouTube I've been doing
publishing stuff on YouTube and I like
live-streaming
so it's really unfortunate that they
removed that capability that is one of
the few things that I sort of like and
need to have on there there's a lot of
other stuff like monetizing videos which
I don't do just provide content so
anyway it was a little surprised when I
had the violation trying to follow up of
course and figure out what's wrong and
hopefully they'll be able to provide you
know some information on wireless flags
so I won't do it again I even asked for
that information and emphasized the fact
that I you know want to follow the
guidelines and I didn't mean to do
anything wrong one of guess one of the
most typical reasons people have a
violation
is around publishing copyrighted
material and I didn't publish anything
like that to my knowledge right through
some music or any kind of audio tracks
or anything like that
additionally a lot of the work that I do
critiquing other websites and doing
educational material which of course is
covered by what they call fair use so I
can you know review a piece of content
produced by someone else give my
commentary on it and basically that's
okay
as long as the majority of the content
that I produce is stuff or the majority
of the content that I published this
stuff that I've actually produced myself
and it's based on my thoughts so I hope
when they review it they'll see that I
haven't done any copyright violations
there's no sort of offensive material I
don't even think I cussed in the video
or anything like that so anyway if
