video you're going to learn the three
step process to creating true wealth in
your life and in through your business
now I'm going to be zooming out a little
bit from the tactical nuts and bolts
internet marketing stuff you'll see how
that fits in but we're going a little
bit bigger picture here and first I need
to define the word wealth because what
that number is for you is very different
for me and is for the other viewers
watching this video so wealth to me
means that you have enough cash flow
producing assets to cover the cash flow
required for your life meaning the
income from your investments or assets
is greater than the expenses of your
lifestyle so if you live a $3,000 per
month lifestyle your investments are
bringing in more than 3000 per month if
you live a thirty thousand dollar per
bringing in more than thirty thousand
dollars the idea is you don't actually
have to work anymore it becomes optional
at this point in time because you can
survive on the cash flow from your
assets so that's the goal that's where
we're going and we've got a three-step
path to get there that is totally proven
it's definitely not the only path but
this is a path I've seen work time and
time and time again this is a path my
wife and I on are on I have several
friends on this path it truly works so
how does it work a very brief overview
is that step one you make the money step
two your business makes the money and
step three your investments make the
money
said another way your money makes the
money right so we're gonna break these
down a little bit more the first one is
you make the money now this is generally
offering services there's two types of
services that most people start out
making there's kind of
business-to-business
type services that's what I started out
with with the wordpress design the
marketing kind of services that I offer
for quite a while then there's business
to consumer services this is what my
wife started out doing with her angel
readings that she began offering people
who do massage therapy lawyers can
actually fit into both categories right
fitness trainers are obviously clearly
kind of to consumer there's a lot of
services that can be provided directly
to consumer hairstylists long
Landscaping care real estate etc those
are generally going to be around the
kind of business to consumer but
obviously there's a commercial real
estate side and there's a way for
business to business to work also
generally if you're offering
business-to-business
services you need to be bringing some
sort of a skill that is going to help
that business generate more leads and
more cash flow essentially they need to
pay you to help them make more money
right so you need to bring merchantable
skills or if you have a trade a skill
you're a yoga teacher you're a massage
therapist or you're a fitness trainer
type thing that whole world is open to
work directly with the consumers so
phase one is you get a lot of skill you
get a lot of kind of real-world
experience working with clients directly
you earn your income in a direct
one-to-one type situation you're
applying your time and energy for the
business if you're doing business to
business or you're applying your time
and energy to the actual consumer you do
need to do the marketing work to keep
your pipeline full to keep new people
coming in and this is where whether
you're offering business-to-business
services or business-to-consumer
services the kind of world of digital
marketing really starts to play and grow
for you so phase two is when you build a
business right this is not just offering
the services anymore
you're now growing teams you're growing
individuals who are doing work for you
and with you you're creating processes
you might be creating productized
services at this point and essentially
the business phase which is phase two of
this is when it can grow beyond your own
personal efforts right so my wife and I
right now we run a niche digital media
business when people ask us what do you
guys do we found that to be kind of the
the best rough answer of that question
we don't really talk about brand a brand
B or brand C right we're not talking
about the services like I'm offering you
this service of knowledge right now
through a YouTube video through content
marketing we're not talking about that
we talk about the kind of the bigger
picture of we run a niche digital media
business we have editors we have
copywriters we have writers on our team
we have SEO s we have developers we have
layout people we have tech people right
that's all helping our business grow
beyond the direct efforts that my wife
and I are
in now you'll notice we haven't removed
ourselves at this point right my wife
and I are still doing the work my wife
is still doing she's not doing
one-on-one readings but she's evolved
that kind of content that she used to
bring through in a one-on-one and she's
evolved that to a one-to-many type of a
situation same with me here I started
doing WordPress development marketing
services one-to-one with clients and for
my wife right my wife's business was
kind of my first client in many senses
and now I'm doing a one-to-many where
I'm leveraging my content I still focus
on getting out the best content I can
but I've got teammates I've got
procedures like I don't get this content
on to my podcast feed I don't actually
get this transcribed and copy edited on
to my blog other people do that which is
expanding my reach this is because I'm
growing a business and all these efforts
in these little videos that I'm putting
out they have residual results right so
it gets turned into a blog post it gets
turned into a podcast feed someone finds
my podcast interviewed and seen a video
before they come into my ecosystem or
someone searching on Google finds my
website they come into my ecosystem get
on my list etc I'm still mailing my list
personally I'm still making these videos
personally but there's a lot more that
happens because I built a business
around it teammates and systems that's
the key thing for you to remember at
phase 2 is it's all about getting other
people's energy and getting systems in
place so you can get leverage and you
can get 10x the reach 10x the results
from the same effort that you've been
putting in prior then there's the third
phase which is the investment phase
where your money makes you money because
the byproduct of phase 1 and phase 2 is
you're generating cash flow right you're
getting out of debt you're saving is so
important to save at every step in this
process then you get to the point where
you get to invest your money you get to
take the money that you're creating put
it in specific places so it can then
grow outside of your business outside of
your personal efforts a lot of times for
business owners like us in the United
States of America we can do kind of 401
KS self-employed 401ks Roth IRAs and
these types of retirement accounts that
we can put into index funds you can put
into currencies you can put in a gold
silver whatever you want right there
self-directed IRAs you can even put it
into real estate but the theory is that
that money
we'll continue to go and grow on its own
beyond my efforts I stay focused on
bringing in the cash flow and then that
system my investments will turn my cash
flow and help my monies multiply into
more monies I'm a huge fan of real
estate investing you probably know that
I flipped several houses I'm actually
looking at investment properties on this
trip that I'm out here on right now
because I do love the thought of cash
flow properties I'm gonna probably do a
whole video on types of house hacking
ways it just about anyone can play the
real-estate game to either at least live
for free like remove the expense of real
estate from you but also potentially get
other people to pay off your assets to
pay off your real estate for you it
works really well and it's kind of a
proven system there's there's several
approaches to that so I'll do a separate
video on that but the big picture here
the real thing I want to make sure you
understand that is step number one you
need to build some sort of a skill that
is merchantable to other people
this can be merchantable to individuals
so you could be an energy healer you
could be a massage therapist you could
be a personal trainer you could be a
physical fitness trainer you could be a
yoga instructor you could be a lawyer
right so there's a lot of ways that can
work out this can be a skill you learn
through a college degree program like
law school and getting the bar exam this
is something that you can kind of self
study through like real estate and you
get a license or this is just something
you can figure out on your own like
WordPress development marketing services
etc for my wife and I I was able to
learn the skills by building our first
niche authority site right so you do
have the ability to potentially go build
your first business asset which could be
your first niche authority site and in
the process of building that you'll
learn a lot about WordPress development
a lot about search engine optimization
conversion optimization growing and
email s etc and those are very
merchantable skills they're very
marketable skills that can be really
beneficial to local business owners in
your area that could potentially be your
path to creating this but you maybe
already have a skill right so number one
is skill up and go apply that skill
directly to other businesses and other
individuals in your area in exchange for
cash flow then you build systems around
this and you can eventually build
mates and a full business around this
now some people transition from a
business to consumer skill like one guy
for example he sold how jokes but now
he's a fake guru or a real guru it
depends on your thought on the guy but
he stopped doing the niche marketing
that he was doing and now all he sells
is how to marketing how to make money
I'm not a fan of that approach I like
when people stay real and stayed true to
their roots like how my wife and I are
still building our businesses the
authority hacker guys are still growing
their niche businesses because this game
changes so fast that when someone gets
on that mountain they're like I'm just
gonna teach you how to make money online
well guess what six months later the
whole game has changed they're not
really changing up with the game and
they're selling you kind of outdated
information that might not be as
leading-edge had they kept their real
grassroots business and I didn't mean to
like go after someone that just that
just kind of happened like I don't
really know the dude I don't follow dude
if you do and you love them great good
on you it's just the kind of an example
right it's just that idea of I'm a
practitioner as a niche marketer and
that's what I'm teaching you here I'm
day-to-day growing my niche media
business and my niche websites my niche
authority sites that's how I can teach
you the most cutting-edge information
through this channel not quitting that
to only do this I'm just hustling up
both and you can apply your growth in
that way as well so if you learn how to
generate a lot of leads and a lot of
growth from your business right your
massage business or whatever it is
through digital marketing you can get to
the point where you open a digital
marketing agency for other massage
therapists so you can make it for anyone
you can niche down there's a lot of ways
you can go so phase one apply the skill
in exchange for dollars right that can
get you generally that will be able to
get you well over the average American
income you can get 60 70 $100,000 a year
or more with this kind of skill it
depends on the skill that you choose the
closer you are to money the more
valuable that skill is to your potential
clients meaning if you help teach people
copywriting or you help actually do
copywriting services for people that's
that moment when the individual has
their credit card closed and they're
about to buy so that's a very valuable
service whereas if you do organic
Instagram marketing for people there's
so many steps from the moment a post
goes up
on Instagram until that sale for that
business owner they're not willing to
spend as much money to you because they
you are not as much of a direct
investment or you're not going to get
they're not going to see a direct return
on investment from your efforts if
you're doing organic Instagram marketing
versus conversion rate optimization big
difference in skills you have the choice
of what skills you're going to move
forward and actually sell then you build
a business around it and when the cash
flow gets to the point at that point if
you if you're making 10 grand a month as
a service provider you build a business
around that you can get up to 40 50 60
plus thousand dollars per month at that
point your question becomes what do I do
with this money number one in
investments is you don't lose the money
is the key but you can learn ways to
kind of invest your money in a way that
it will continue to grow and at some
point that cash flow and the return from
your investments will be greater than
the income from your businesses and from
your services you can either stop doing
the services you could sell off those
businesses you can keep it all going and
grow your lifestyle if you so choose but
really the magic goal the magic place to
get is win the cash flow and the return
from your investments is greater than
your lifestyle you can get there more
quickly if you live an inexpensive
lifestyle if you practice frugality my
wife and I do you keep those expense
numbers low it's easier to get your
investment returns to cover said
expenses but that's the real plan I
wanted to share that I feel like that's
a really clear way to go about it so if
you're already offering services you now
know that that building a business
around that is probably the next best
level if you're doing both of those it
might be time to start thinking about
investing your money how to invest your
money so it can grow without more input
from you you stay focused on where
you're most valuable and then get your
monies to grow for themselves that my
friend is the true path to wealth
internet marketing can play a very big
role but it is not required it is
outsourced as well I hope this has been
