video you're gonna learn about what
can start making money fast based on
your skills in the last video I covered
my three steps to creating wealth system
step one was to go essentially sell a
skill whether this is to individuals
like a business to consumer type skill
or to small businesses a b2b or
business-to-business skill either way
selling a skill is your fastest path to
get to that ten grand a month mark so
you can really get that cash flow going
that you can reinvest into a business
and ultimately reinvest into investments
that's the big plan so we're zooming in
on step one which is skilling up now I'm
gonna cover a few stories and a few
examples and know that this is different
for everyone so be sure you stick with
this because you're gonna get some
different aha moments at different
points in this video the first thing to
keep in mind is that the easiest skill
for you to go create more money and
essentially unlock yourself from a kind
of a cubicle type job or job you don't
love to being fully sustainable off of
your own efforts is the skill that you
already have now if you're already a
hairstylist a landscaper design a lawyer
you already have a marketable skill and
really truly doubling down on that skill
and building good marketing structures
around what you're already doing is a
way for you to number one potentially
charge more by attracting a higher
quality client and number two keeping
yourself booked up because if you're
able to make $50 an hour or $100 or more
per hour the goal then becomes how do I
keep myself doing these gigs that make
you a hundred dollars or more per hour
for four five six hours per day spend a
couple hours a day on digital marketing
and then really tripling down on doing
the actual work but then the question
comes up well what if I don't have a
marketable skill I totally get it the
best place I like to look for people
when you don't have a marketable skill
is obviously in the world of digital
marketing there's hundreds if not
thousands of local businesses in your
area that could use digital marketing
help but you got to realize that some
digital marketing skills are more
valuable to the business owner than
others and the closer you are to helping
that business owner get more customers
and ultimately more revenue the more
money you have potentially to make now
there is a copyright copywriting
framework called AI da its attention
interest desire and action AI da
attention interest desire and action the
closer you are to the action phase
within the sales cycle of that business
that you're applying your skills to the
more money you will be able to make the
more valuable you are to that business
so let's think about this
ai da process let's start at the money
right at the end and work our way
backwards so the last step the money
happens when action is taken this is the
sale the moment of the sale the moment
the individual pulls out their credit
card and actually purchases something so
what can you learn what skills are
around this that you can learn number
one is the actual act of selling right
learning how to sell is super powerful
in my conversation I did in the
interview I did with Tim Conley who's a
very successful marketer and investor an
entrepreneur he actually went and got a
job with an insurance company that had a
great sales program not because he
wanted the job he actually quit right
when he finished but just so he could go
through their sales program because he
learned and realized that selling is
when the money exchanges hands that's
what he was bad at he wasn't getting out
of money exchanging hands to him
therefore he went and learned sales for
me there was a while when I was flipping
houses so I had a lot of kind of
belly-to-belly experience sitting across
the table with with house sellers and
negotiating deals but I also was selling
cars at that point in time so I got a
lot of sales experience I was doing
sales over the phone I was doing
in-person sales I was also doing
photography and selling them online
learning how to write craigslist ads
that got people to actually come in to
look at the cars and writing sales
listings on ebay I was working to learn
how to sell ten twenty thirty thousand
dollar cars and motorcycles on eBay
again through selling that was what I
was learning but what happened for me in
the kind of Craigslist side and the eBay
side was I realized that I had to learn
how to take my salesmanship
and get it into the written word this is
the world of copywriting copywriting is
a very very marketable skill you will
probably notice that all around this
video my headline my description of this
video the kind of text below my opt-in
page that you go to
that's all copywriting for my wife and I
our sales pages our daily email
marketing though that's all copy right
that's all copywriting and that is
really the the kind of thing that we
produce that actually brings in money
when my wife and I sit down obviously we
create a new mp3 but when we sit down
and write a sales page and then we craft
an email or a series of emails that link
people to the sales page the sales page
sells the user on the idea of purchasing
our product to get a results in their
life that they want that's how we make
money so you can learn this skill of
copywriting and copywriting is best
learned from the older books the books
before 1980 none of this weird ninja
stuff go old-school with it
Eugene Schwartz Dan Kennedy's the
ultimate sales letter Eugene Schwartz
has breakthrough advertising John Caples
tested advertising method vol 4 is the
important one or make ads sell by John
Caples is another great one Victor
Schwab has how to write a good
advertisement Gary Halbert the the boron
letters the old Gary Halbert letters
those are all great books and places for
you to start most of those books can be
bought on Amazon for under $25 the
Eugene Schwartz one is is a few hundred
dollars but it's it's well worth it so
literally this skill of copywriting
allows you to have the ability to work
within a business that's already
operating they've already got customers
and you could go craft a new sales
message and a follow-up campaign to all
of their past customers and you could
then take their past customer list you
can do a direct mail campaign you could
do an email campaign you could upload it
to Facebook into a Facebook ad campaign
when you have a funnel built that will
essentially get those past customers to
buy more things you are adding revenue
to the bottom line of this business
because you took their customer list
that's stagnating right now and you turn
it into profit by creating and crafting
new offers so that's really kind of the
closest to the actual sale mark that's
the closest to the money that you can
get going another step back you've got
conversion rate optimisation you've got
landing page and email list
growth you've got email marketing which
is again a form of copywriting at that
point in time because email is all done
with copy but this world this kind of
action world is where the most money is
available and this really kind of does
get into pay-per-click marketing right
because if you're running a Facebook
pay-per-click ad that gets the user to
click on and look at an opt-in page and
then a one-time offer and then they
convert from there you have a measurable
way of showing that business owner how
much return on investment they're
getting how many leads they're
generating how many sales they're
generating that is a quick way to
generate a lot of money for another
business which is how you make money so
let's go one step back from the action
right so ai da we're back at the D which
is the desire how do you boost desire
this is content marketing right the
videos that you can put out for a
business showing happy customers going
and collecting video testimonials from
their happy customers to show how great
they are that business is right how
great the result their customers get
that can help other people who are not
yet customers kind of get over that hump
of like oh I really do want to buy this
business's service content marketing in
the form of vlogging to get the content
up that will help their website rank
higher on Google we're kind of getting
into the attention right and the
interest side of things there as well
the lines blur a little bit so you don't
have to follow this AI da framework
exactly but when you get into content
marketing video marketing pay-per-click
marketing those are really ways to get
the messaging in front of the right
people the people who have the highest
likelihood of buying that's a great way
to get the business out and maybe it's a
brick and mortar massage therapy place
in a vacation town maybe that's where
you live and you start promoting a 30%
off a couples massage because of
Valentine's Day or whatever it is and
you are now helping them get new
customers and if they know they have a
good lifetime value and you're able to
help bring more customers in the door
they're gonna be very very happy with
your results they're gonna be very very
happy to continue to pay you overtime
now you go a little step farther right
so there's the content marketing that
you need a wordpress site for that
content to live on what if they don't
yet have a wordpress site that's where
you can start to do WordPress
development you can start to do kind of
the marketing arbitrage type 2
that I've taught in another video series
where you actually build the foundation
that the content marketing hangs on that
the opt-in pages hang on that the sales
pages hang on right so now you're
building the foundation were three or
four steps away from that sales letter
that's actually going to get them to
purchase but you have to have a solid
foundation to build upon so that's the
next level and then there's the first
phase which is the interest level or
excuse me the attention level the the
lowest kind of part of the totem pole
the least valuable skill which is social
media marketing in my personal opinion
Instagram marketing for people doing
Pinterest marketing for people organic
Facebook marketing for people this kind
of marketing will get your potentially
reach out to your past customers and
potentially get you in front of other
individuals but there's so many steps
from an Instagram post of oh wow that
looks cool I'm interested to clicking
and learning more to getting on email as
to then learning even more about the
products services and benefits to then
seeing a sales page to then ultimately
purchasing it's not that it's a bad
skill to have or it's not that it's not
a marketable skill because it absolutely
is the thing is it's just several steps
away from the money and that business
owner you're gonna be selling your
skills to cares about the money they
care about getting a return on the
investment they look at you as an
investment in man-hours and their goal
is okay if I pay this person twenty five
hundred dollars a month how much money
is coming back because as a business
owner they're always thinking if I put
twenty five hundred in I need to get
back four or five ten twenty fifty
thousand dollars per month from that two
thousand five hundred that I'm putting
in the business owner operates their
business in a method where they're
putting in twenty five hundred dollars
for your services and you're only
bringing back five hundred dollars worth
of value that business owner is not a
successful business owner and they will
fail over time right eventually they're
gonna let go of you or the whole
business is going to have to go bankrupt
so the first thing you need to think
about right now is do you have any
marketable skills and these skills can
be anything from auto detailing right
like these are things landscaping window
washing are marketable skills I have a
friend here I've met through YouTube
he runs a multiple six-figure per year
window washing and landscaping business
it's very very possible to start out
doing the work yourself low overhead to
get ready you build the digital
marketing around it so you get lots and
lots of leads so many leads that you
actually need to hire a whole team of
people now you have a business you have
extra income that you can begin to
invest
aha you are on the path to wealth but if
you're starting for actual kind of
skills that are gonna give you the
ability to apply skills to local
businesses based on digital marketing
you may need to go through a self-study
internship where you build your own
authority site you start building your
list you start building your content
marketing to get all of the experience
in the world if you need a roadmap to
follow in this world

video they paint the entire picture so
then you start by building your own
asset you do the content marketing you
do the WordPress development you do the
keyword research you do all of the bits
and pieces all the way down to the
copywriting and conversion that's how
you learn the skills you become your
first best testimonial and then you can
go show your results to local business
owners and ultimately start to make more
money by helping them grow their
businesses digitally as well that was my
approach and that's how I got over that
ten grand a month mark that's how I was
able to fire my boss it wasn't because
my wife and my information business took
off it was because I took what I would
learn from that and applied it to local
businesses and then I worked both of
those very aggressively for several
years before our info business was
bringing in more income in a more
enjoyable manner than the client
services and I let go to the client
services and I went all in on the info
business one more quick example for you
my wife during the early years of
building her website that's in the angel
and spirituality and meditation space my
wife found a job at a local metaphysical
shop in a vacation town metaphysical
shop if you're not familiar they sell
everything from crystals and jewelry and
books and Angel cards and all those kind
of knickknacks in the world of
metaphysics and spirituality all the
things people want well this gave my
wife an incredible amount of experience
hand
and standing across the table talking to
asking questions hearing about the
problems of our target market right
these are the same people who come to
our website to buy our meditations and
the other items we have this also gave
my wife a really clear understanding of
the types of products the physical
products that these individuals like to
purchase guess what we're looking at
expanding our business into now guess
where we're looking at investing more
money into our business into physical
goods that we know our target market
loves how do we know my wife managed a
shop for four years she was the buyer
she saw what sold she saw what didn't
sold she saw what had good margins she
saw what had bad margins she saw what
problems people came in with she
literally worked in a shop for four
years while building our business on the
side so she did the full business she
was running that entire business she not
only wasn't just like the she started as
someone who just worked the front desk
but she worked her way up to managing
the whole business and was hustling our
information business on the side now
she's got all of that experience that
working with crystals in the books and
answering people's questions and seeing
what problems they came in with she's
now able to apply all of that through
her content marketing that she's putting
out now through her YouTube videos her
blogging and through our sales messaging
that were putting out now because we she
got a really deep understanding of the
individuals right so there is a way what
I'm really trying to get at is number
one market whatever skills that you have
number two go build new skills build
digital marketing skills as close to the
sale as you possibly can number three if
you're currently working a job in your a
situation where you need the cash flow
from a job that's where I was where my
wife was see if you can get into a job
that's going to help you further build
the skills that they're going to be
marketable for your business for other
local businesses in the future jobs that
give you sales experience can be really
really powerful right jobs that give you
digital marketing experience can be
really really powerful getting an
internship as a Facebook advertiser for
a digital marketing company can help you
really learn the ropes on someone else's
dime on someone else's world you can
learn about conversion optimization you
can learn about media buying and paid
traffic etc so is there a lateral move
in your day job situation that you can
kind of shift to get even more
marketable experiences for me it was
selling cars I enjoy cars I got
do photography of the cars I sold them
online I sold them in person
that was an incredible two-year period
of my life for I really understood how
difficult it is to sell and how easy it
is to turn off a prospective buyer by
saying the wrong things and how easy it
was to get them excited when I said the
right things so that's it I hope this
video makes sense I hope you understand
how to kind of really create more
merchantable skills or maybe how to
double down on the skills that you
already have to begin creating more
income and then leveraging digital
marketing all along the way to bring
more income for you to bring more income
for your local businesses in your market
this can be turned into an agency to
where you're actually running a
marketing agency or this can just float
you as it did me and help you build
skills while you're getting your
information business your affiliate
business your drop shipping business
whatever it is while you're getting that
business going it can float you until
you're able to let go of the client work
and really go all in on your business we
all want to go all in our business right
we want to spend every hour we have on
our business but it takes sometimes
years to get our business fitting out
enough cash flow for us to survive on so
you got to do something else and see if
you can do something else that's going
to help you skill up help you learn
about your audience more like my wife
did or just get those hard core skills
of conversion of copywriting of
marketing content marketing etc you can
apply those to local businesses they all
need your help there are so many local
businesses in your area that need a
wordpress site that need weekly blog
posts that need video marketing done
that need Facebook pay-per-click ads
that needs someone to go upload their
email list of customers and re email
them to offer them more things to buy
there is a ton of value you can apply to
all of these businesses with the
knowledge you've learned here or from
that TAS s program to all the businesses
in your area it's a pretty relatively
easy path it's not it's simple but it's
not easy we'll call it a simple path
it's not an easy path because it takes a
lot of work but it is a proven path as
the path has worked for me it's worked
for dozens of my friends in fact the
guys who put the TAS s program together
they used to run an agency until their
assets their niche media sites their
authority sites started making enough
money so they've actually followed this
exact same path my wife and I have
dozens if not hundreds of my friends
from around the world who are successful
entrepreneurs have also followed this
path you my friend can also follow this
path to success I hope this really helps
kind of give you a way to think about
the different types of skills and maybe
think about the different ways you can
build those skills so you can keep
making that money now because you got to
pay for the rent got to pay for the kids
if you got kids the family whatever it
is you got to pay for life now while
saving a bit and building your assets
because you can't live off those assets
in the future but there's this time
