this is Doug Huntington we're gonna look
at a treadmill review site this is an
Amazon affiliate site and this is part
tear downs and I'm making them faster
let's get to it this is a specific
review this is the lifespan TR it's a
folding treadmill review I did another
video on baby gear lab that's a premier
site that is an awesome site the reviews
are tight
it is best-in-class and they are
constantly improving it conversely this
is not a best-in-class site this is a
niche site that can use some work this
review is not great the design is
reasonable they have a nice star rating
over here and links throughout the site
that's cool when you actually look at
the copy it's not great it looks like
someone summarized what they read on
Amazon or maybe from the manufacturers
site while technically accurate is not
very interesting and I'll just read the
first few sentences this first paragraph
treadmills are popular to hold home gyms
but choosing the right one can be
difficult because there are so many our
top pick for anyone who's looking for
durable interactive at high end
treadmill is the lifespan TR 1200 i
folding treadmill this product has
everything Evy any avid this product has
everything that any avid runner would
need whether you're working at at home
or to lose weight just from a aesthetics
it looks fine they use headings there's
contrasting colors and they do talk
about the item again while technically
accurate it's not compelling they talk
very lightly about what others have to
say about it now the thing that they
made a mistake on is they mentioned how
many reviews is a more than 100 reviews
on Amazon which Amazon doesn't really
like you to mention specifics because it
could change from Amazon's perspective
they want to have a good customer
experience and that means if someone
clicks over to Amazon and it's not 4.3
stars there's discontinuity in the user
experience which is bad from Amazon's
perspective so this is a violation here
so that's not cool as we go further on
it doesn't look like there's anything
super interesting
this is actually looks like it's more
thorough than what's on Amazon but when
we get down here they actually list the
cost of the item on Amazon which is not
cool that it violates the Terms of
Service and basically they are not
allowed to say that and that is right
there yeah so can't do that this is a
violation of the Terms of Service we see
they have a call to action here check
out the reviews on Amazon super strong
call to action that is one of the best
you can do but I would say you know
maybe put that in the review section up
here that'd be a better thing to do they
don't have any other affiliate links
other than this one there should be an
affiliate link like up here there should
probably be one just like in every
viewing area so like there should be at
least three on this page and that would
be sufficient and you know when we think
about how many words this is it's not a
time and we'll just look real quick that
is 1071 words total that tool I just
uses SEO quake it's a free extension
