hey what's going on it is Doug here and
I wanted to shoot a quick video to let
you know about why I was doing this age
scenery is a little different in fact
I'm going to give it a little spin here
it's awesome here I'm in Denali National
Park in Alaska and I kind of have some
free time and I just wanted to give a
little update so a couple things here
hopefully the wind is not too loud
hopefully the cars driving by aren't too
loud I just pulled off on the side of
the road to do this quickly so one or
two things I want to mention first one
of the main things with a case study is
I wanted to go on this trip so one of
the ideas that I wanted to I guess like
execute and then like give people an
example is like how you can get work
done by outsourcing and not have to
spend too much time on now I think and
I'll share this along the way when I
give other updates but like some little
mistakes are going to be made if you're
not spending a ton of time on it now the
cool thing is I've literally like gone
on vacation so I've been out of the
office for about two weeks by the time
you watch this I'll be back in the
office by the way but I'm not going to
be back in the office for another two
weeks from yesterday so roughly like a
month or so out of the office and I got
everything ready ahead of time I like
outsource everything ahead of time got
as much as I could sort of settled and
then I left I'm checking in about once a
week or so I'm have I have like
intermittent connectivity surprisingly
in Denali National Park like in the the
front part of the park which is in that
direction over there they have like
reasonable data signals you know what
earlier
moose over here so I should probably
keep an eye out for that if you see a
moose back there let me know it was uh
it was a bold move so like with antlers
and everything anyhow I'm checking it a
little bit checking my email see if
there's any questions with like content
development pros human proofs of designs
or content refines in fact content
refined just contacted me earlier today
they said hey we finished upgrading the
content we need logins for your site so
like things or were like underway and
things are happening while I'm out of
the office and not doing anything in
fact
I drove up here with my my parents did
want to join me as well so yeah I've
been like reasonably disconnected in
fact for most of the drive through
Canada
I had no like cell phone signal because
I didn't get an international plane I
kind of wanted to be disconnected so
that that's sort of like one of the main
things I wanted to do with the case
study just get everything ready organize
it and then do a bunch of other
alright like go on a trip go on vacation
because who is the case study for it's
for people that probably number one you
got to have a budget otherwise this
generally is not going to make sense I'm
gonna do in a whole other video by the
way on like who the case study is for
and how to get value from it even if
you're not in the same position as me or
someone with a budget so like you can
like hire the companies to do some stuff
you have a budget but you know how much
time maybe you have a full-time job
maybe you have a lot of family
obligations or other obligations and you
need to be able to just like give a
bunch of work to people and check in
about once a week maybe for about an
hour or so just to have a quick look and
I'm happy to report earnings are up
alright so I can't remember exactly
because I haven't looked in an in a
while but like my I'm gonna turn this
way so you can see some of the cool cool
things over there so I think like the
like
the first few weeks like the the first
incomplete month when I reported
earnings I think it was like 7 bucks or
$14 or something and then I believe oh
wait it was 7 and then the first full
month I made about 14 bucks and now
after I've had a few links delivered by
the hoth and I had a few I'm not sure if
some other links are done from Logan X
but I also had okay relax do some blog
commenting see I'm even forgetting the
words that I use with this whole
affiliate marketing thing but this this
month now that is completing it's going
to be if the projections hold up is
probably going to be over 30 bucks so
like it's growing there's more traffic
going to the site I think I haven't
looked in a while but the earnings are
up and that's good so that is that's
kind of the idea so I just wanted to
give a quick update and show you
I am very far from the very far from the
office this has been man it's absolutely
beautiful out here if you haven't been
to Alaska or Denali which I visited my
first trip to Denali I recommend you
check it out it's pretty cool out here
