Hey, this is Stefan from ProjectLifeMastery.com. In this video, I'm going to
show you how to improve your grammar by using Grammarly.com. Grammarly is
actually a free tool. You can download it for free either as a Google Chrome
extension or as a desktop application to your PC or your Mac. It basically works to
or subscribe to my YouTube channel are writers and bloggers and authors and
Kindle publishers. Maybe you're someone that wants to improve your English,
or spelling or grammar BB English is your second language and we believe that
we should always try to improve our grammar or spelling because we spend so
much time in front of the computer typing emails, writing on social media, writing
blog posts. I think that improving our grammar is going to improve how other
people perceive you. Having proper grammar is going to help you
communicate better online, but also how other people perceive you as being
professional, especially if you're in business and you have customers, that's a
very important thing. I can always tell when people email me and their
emails have spelling errors, grammatical errors. It always leaves a
bad impression because I always notice those things whenever I'm communicating
with other people. Improving your grammar
I think is a really important thing, and I think Grammarly is one of the best tools
that can help you do that. I've been using Grammarly for a few months now. I love it.
It's helped me improve my grammar by showing me different mistakes in my grammar, but
also automatically improving and correcting my grammar as well. I'm
going to show you guys exactly how Grammarly works. I'm going to log into the website right
now just by clicking log in. Once you log in and set up an account with
Grammarly, you're going to be taken to the dashboard that looks like this as well
as be asked to install the Google Chrome extension, which is 100%
free. You can see right now my Google Chrome browser. Right here in the top
right corner is the Grammarly icon. Basically, you can click this to see how
Grammarly is working for you or not. You can actually turn it on or off if you choose.
By using it in the extension, it's going to work automatically for you so you're
not going to have to really turn it on or worry about it too much. It's going to help
point out
grammatical mistakes as you're typing. You can log into the Grammarly
dashboard if you want to upload documents or write new documents. If you
have a book that you want to do a grammar check for or also make sure
that it's not plagiarized in any way, then Grammarly is really useful for that as
well. Let's say that you're a blogger like me and you want to write a blog post or
you want to post on social media or just write anything online, I'll show you guys how
Grammarly works. Right now, I'm logged into WordPress on my blog ProjectLife
Mastery.com. As you can see, right here in the bottom corner of my
WordPress is a Grammarly icon. Basically, as I type, as I write, Grammarly is
going to show if there's any grammatical mistakes. I'm now going to write a
grammatically incorrect sentence and show you how Grammarly works and how it
will help correct it. I'm just going to write, "Hi, my name is Stefan and I'm a blogger and
want to be better writer." As you can see Grammarly has identified one
grammatical error in this sentence, which is the word better. If I hover over the word,
it's actually going to show me a suggestion and how I can correct it. If I click on correct
with Grammarly, then it's going to give me an opportunity to correct this critical error
and also these other non critical errors, but definitely can help improve the grammar of
the sentence as well. If I just hover over this, it's actually going to give me different
suggestions so if I hover over it, I can either select "a better" or "the better".
"I want to be a better writer." Same thing with, "Hi, my name is Stefan." I
can add a comma right after it or I could add a comma after blogger. I'm just going to add right
after Stefan. "Hi, my name is Stefan, and I'm a blogger, comma, and I want to
be a better writer." There you go. It's just checking again, and that is a grammatically
correct sentence that Grammarly has helped me improve. That's basically
how I use Grammarly. It just works automatically in my WordPress, in my
social media, in my emails, any time
that I'm writing any form of text or a communication, if I'm writing a book.
If I'm communicating with anyone, it's going to help me number one be more
aware of my grammar. That by itself is going to help me improve my grammar over
a period of time.
Any time I do make mistakes, I can just look over Grammarly here and improve it.
Over a period of time, you're just going to better and better at your grammar just by using this.
It's a free tool. They do have paid versions as well that have other features
and benefits. For example, if you want to use a plagiarism checker, they also
have that feature. If you are maybe a writer or a publisher and you want to
verify the work that you're publishing is 100% unique and original,
then they also have a feature for that as well that you can use, which you can pay
for. However, just the free version, I think that anybody that wants to improve
their grammar will benefit from. I know I have, and it's definitely made a world of
