Here’s WHY You Can’t Find An Amazon FBA Product To Sell...



so I recently had someone send me a
question to say Stefan I've been trying
to find a product to sell on Amazon I
put in a few hours of research but I
can't find anything there's nothing left
to sell on Amazon so I want to address
this because I know there's many of you
out there that are watching this right
now that have dabbled with the idea of
selling on Amazon some of you might have
put in a few hours of research to find
potential products that you could sell
on Amazon and make money from some of
you might have used a tool like jungle
scout to help you do some of that
research but for most of you that's as
far as you've gone for most of you you
felt that you couldn't find a product
you got discouraged you gave up felt
that this isn't for you and you never
got started you never got into the game
has started your journey building your
online business on Amazon and creating
the passive income the lifestyle that
you really want so if that's you then I
want to help you today I want to help
you overcome this hurdle once and for
all and help you be able to find your
first product that you could then sell
on Amazon and create your online
business on Amazon now in order for me
to do this I have to challenge your
thinking and challenge this mindset this
mentality that you have that I believe
is holding you back and hopefully you're
open to it which I assume you are if
you're watching this video right now now
I want to challenge you on this idea
this thought that there's no products
that are available for you to sell that
all the good products are taken there's
nothing left because the truth and the
reality is is right now today there's
millions and millions and millions and
millions and millions of products that
are being successfully sold on Amazon
today right now by people from all over
the world people that are just like you
and I regular people that just decided
to not be held back by this and instead
to find a product and start selling it
and they put in the work they put in the
time they put in the investment they put
in the energy and so that's why there's
millions and millions of products being
successfully sold on Amazon people that
are getting started today they'll get
started tomorrow next week next month
next year despite this obstacle and
barrier that you might have that's
holding you back people are overcoming
it and it's because of a different
mentality different mindset so it
there are millions of products that are
successfully being sold and people are
starting from all walks of life because
I've heard this by the way last year two
years ago three four five years ago
people had the same story but yet again
people still found a way to find
products and succeed and do well and
I'll continue doing so as long as the
Amazons around so then why can't you
find a product why is it so hard because
I could right now give you guys dozens
and dozens of products that you could
sell on Amazon that are selling you know
something you could sell a supplement on
Amazon you can sell and there's tons of
supplements you could sell bottles water
bottles Fitness bottles
there's journals and notebooks and
there's just millions and millions of
products that can go on with so if their
products being sold then what I believe
is holding you back and from what I've
seen from a lot of people it's that
people have an unrealistic expectation
that they're looking for the perfect
product a product that doesn't really
exist they're looking for a unicorn and
they have this idea in their head that
they're gonna find the perfect product
this amazing product this magical
product that has a lot of demand there's
thousands of people searching for this
product every single day it's a product
that I can easily source from China or
somewhere in the world and it has no
competition or nobody knows about it
right there's not much competition so
therefore I can just put up this product
for the Amazon it's gonna start making
me money make me sales and I'm not gonna
have to worry about competition it's
gonna be easy and the reality is that
doesn't really exist
it's very rare or hard to find that and
if it did exist and there are products
like that then it's not long before this
competition it's not long before it it's
become saturated and there's all these
other products and that same niche and
selling that same product that if you're
just trying to take the easy path
they're going to come in and compete
with you and so it's not sustainable
it's not gonna last for you so you have
to realize is that there is competition
on Amazon for every product and if
there's none yet then there will be so
you can't have this mindset of being
afraid of competition
I'm gonna find product no competition
it's gonna be easy guys that's not how
it works it's not like you're just gonna
put up a product to have Amazon do all
the work for you instead what you have
to do and this is what has allowed
people to be successful on Amazon and
will continue to and if you're not doing
this then your success isn't gonna last
it's not going to continue on because
other people that are serious and
committed are going to be doing this
which is they're actually deciding you
know what this is the product that I'm
gonna sell this is a product that is
profitable there's demand I can do the
research I can see all these other
products selling in this and what I'm
gonna do is I'm gonna find a way to
differentiate a little bit okay not a
drastic differentiate a different not a
drastic differentiator but just some
little subtle difference that I can make
or how I could position this product a
little bit differently so it's not
exactly the same as everything else out
there that differentiator could be the
product packaging or a little feature or
maybe the offer or the price that you
have or more reviews or you know it
could be a little bonus that you might
have there's a lot of different things
you can actually do to differentiate
with your product okay but they've
decided this is the one that I'm gonna
sell let's say it's a yoga mats okay and
there's tons out there maybe it's a
different design or different material
or a little bit thinner whatever it
might be okay so they decide to go with
it and what they decide is I'm gonna put
in the work to build an actual business
build a brand
I'm gonna build a blog I'm gonna create
some content that I can then rank in
Google in the search engines and attract
people to me I'm gonna create maybe some
YouTube videos and talk about my product
or talking about yoga or fitness or
whatever it might be and then I can tell
people want my product that way or I'm
gonna build an Instagram page or a
Facebook page and I'm gonna put up some
content out there and attract people add
value attract people then tell them
about my product and sell it on Amazon
or you know I'm gonna build an email
list or maybe I'm gonna run some
advertisements on Facebook ads or Google
Ads
or Instagram ads or whatever it might be
and so they've taken this mindset of
actually building a business building a
brand not just trying to sell a product
and so therefore what they're doing is
they're doing what Amazon wants because
Amazon
they're not gonna promote your product
or feature it if you're not willing to
do the work but Amazon wants is they
want products that are doing well that
are getting a lot of sales those are the
ones they're gonna rank those are the
ones that they're gonna show up on
Amazon for the first page for certain
keywords and feature it on their home
page and recommend it to people that's
what they're looking for and so
therefore what they want you to do is
they've created this platform so that
you and I could sell and reach their
millions of customers but only if you
actually funnel traffic and sales into
your Amazon listing and product and if
you can do that then Amazon is gonna
reward you for it because they're gonna
see wow this product is getting is doing
well it's getting all these sales it's
getting all this external traffic from
Google from the blog from different
websites from social media and so
therefore it must be a great product and
so they're gonna rank it and they're
gonna feature it a lot more so that's
what Amazon is looking for and that's
what it takes to successfully sell on
Amazon is to build a national business
an actual brand that's what's going to
give you a lasting competitive advantage
and actually build a Parthenon that has
multiple pillars versus just a one
legged stool that is so dependent just
on Amazon that if you're only dependent
on Amazon then that's not really a
business because that's not your
business that's Amazon's business and
they're just giving you the real estate
to be able to list your product on their
website to sell it so you have to build
something more than just Amazon okay now
if you pick let's say a niche okay
instead of just looking at a product how
about picking a niche what's a niche
what's a market that I could build my
business in maybe you have a passion and
a love for fitness or maybe it's cooking
or maybe it's gardening or maybe it's
camping and outdoors maybe it's hiking
maybe it's sports right there's all
these different niches and markets that
exist maybe you decide that you love
yoga let's just use that as an example
so if you love that think about well
what are all the products that I could
sell in the yoga niche does many you can
sell yoga mats you can sell you'll go
towels yoga blocks you know there's
different yoga gear and different
outfits and whatnot that you could
potentially sell and so if you look at
that and say you know okay I'm gonna
build my brand I'm gonna build it in
this me
I'm gonna start with one product the
product I'm gonna start with is a small
one okay it's not it it might not be my
million-dollar product it doesn't have
to be a yoga mat maybe what's gonna sell
this little yoga block and maybe I can
you know differentiate a little bit I'm
gonna offer a little ebook or a video I
can go along with it on different ways
to use the yoga block or here's you know
20 different yoga poses that can go
along with it or maybe have a better
price than everyone else or I'm gonna
you know just differentiate in some way
so you start building your business you
start building you know your yoga
business your content online and
attracting people to it and building
your email list you start with this
little product now maybe this product
just makes you a couple thousand dollars
a month but the most important thing of
that it's not the money that you make
okay that's the misconception people
have is the experience that you've
gained the knowledge of going through
the process the learning curve because
right now the reason why you have this
uncertainty this fear is because you
don't know yet what to expect right you
you're just trying to speculate and you
haven't yet gained any experience doing
this but once you've gone through it and
you decide you know my first product it
doesn't have to be this big
multi-million dollar product maybe it's
just I start with a small order quantity
you know I just want to get my feet wet
it's kind of like the training wheels
for me to get started you learn from
that you grow and then with that
experience now you can identify other
opportunities hey you know what okay I
have some more confidence now you know I
know what to expect I know what to look
for I know what to avoid you know I
found this other product in the yoga
niche or fitness niche I think this is a
better opportunity you know now I'm
gonna now go with this product and maybe
you still keep your other product or you
could sell it out get rid of that stock
and move on to the next one but now
you're taking with you more experience
and now this may be this product becomes
your $10,000 a month product right and
then you then take that experience now
because you're in a different position
and now you maybe have some more capital
to that you can now invest in some you
know you have more options of products
you could potentially sell because now
you have more capital more experience
more confidence to then take with you
for this next product you know maybe now
you go after hey I have the confidence I
know I could do well with this product
because I already know what to expect
I've already been through the process
rights now made
you find your product that ends up being
your six-figure product or your
seven-figure product and that's usually
how it works guys it's never the first
product that's your best product because
your first product you're a newbie first
product you don't really know what to
expect and so for most people some may
be maybe not by the way some people by
the way their first product ends up
doing big but for most there's a process
to it that's how you should approach it
guys is stop trying to be perfect change
your criteria for the product that
you're gonna find on Amazon stop making
it so hard for yourself just gain some
experience get your feet wet you know it
definitely helps when you have a course
and a training that can guide you
through it because one of the biggest
issues that people have is a lack of
confidence uncertainty doubt fear I see
it every day with the people that I work
with and you know there's so afraid to
pull the trigger they're so afraid to
start because they need validation they
need confirmation from someone that has
experience I could tell them yes you're
on the right track you're doing well
keep it up you know keep going right and
so that's what's useful about having a
course and mentors and and and and
resources like that that can help you
with it
but at a certain point guys you have to
just decide you have to be willing to
take the risk you can mitigate the risk
by deciding maybe on a product that's
not too expensive lower order you know
minimum order quantity you could start
with and then as you start to see some
you know see some sales role in then you
could then invest more in order more
inventory or if it's not selling well no
worries you can just sell it off have a
cheaper price than every other product
and sell off your inventory and then no
harm no foul you can then take that
experience so then decide to start with
the next product and there that way you
haven't really lost much money just the
time but you've gained experience from
that so it's a process guys just like
with anything and you have to decide
that you're willing to do what it takes
because you can succeed with almost any
product out there that has a demand but
what it comes down to you it comes down
to you not necessarily the product if
the product has a demand and there's
people buying it out there and other
competitor products then the reason why
it's not selling for you and doing well
oftentimes is because of you because
you are the one that makes your product
work you are the one that determines
your product success and you have to be
the one that is doing the work to sell
your product to market it to get it out
there to get reviews to let people know
about it right that's what's going to
determine your success as long as the
product has a demand in the market for
it and so that's what it comes down to
and that's why you have to decide to
invest in yourself work on yourself and
develop yourself so that you have that
confidence you have that drive and that
hunger and if you do then you will be
rewarded for it you don't you will do
well you will succeed now if you're
saying to me Stefan that sounds great
but that's a lot of work I'm not willing
to put in that work I'm just looking
minute I'm just looking for the easy
path I just want to get rich quick then
I can't help you and no one else can
because there is no grit get-rich-quick
the get-rich-quick is not sustainable
you might make some money for a month or
two but it's gonna require work because
competition will come in and you've got
to be willing to create more or add more
value than everyone else out there if
you can do that and you're committed to
it you'll succeed but if you're looking
for the path of least resistance
you're just not gonna last you're not
gonna last as an entrepreneur it's not
until you decide you know what I'm
serious this is a business it's not a
hobby this is a real business that I'm
building and a real business is gonna
require my time my energy my commitment
and that's why if you are gonna build a
business and you are gonna sell an
Amazon then might as well if it's gonna
take all this work and time and I'm not
making it sound I want to make it sound
like it's it's like too hard and
impossible it's not there's millions of
people that are doing it you can as well
okay so it's not unattainable by any
means it just requires commitment work
and just taking it seriously but if
you're willing to do that guys that's
what's gonna lead to the success that
you're after and it's gonna change your
life you know change my life myself and
so many other people and it can also
change the life for you as well so be
willing guys to go through the learning
curve go through the process don't be a
perfectionist about this look at it as
your first product as a way just to gain
experience make some money great yeah
Stan you gonna make your money back and
make a nice profit that can help support
you but take that with you to the next
one the next one the next one until you
find that one that you do have a passion
and interest for because when you find
that it's not gonna feel like work
you're gonna enjoy it you're gonna want
to put in the time you're gonna want to
build a blog you're gonna want to post
on social media you're gonna want to do
all those things and if you're not
building it around a passion or an
interest or something that you actually
care about then how do you expect to
compete with the other guys in that
niche in that market that are passionate
about it that do care that are willing
to put in the work and the time to do
all those things you're not gonna last
and so that's why one of my criteria is
not just a product that's profitable not
just one that has high demand but also
one that you're gonna enjoy also one
that you're gonna believe in one that
you're actually maybe personally use as
part of your life as well that you have
no problem sharing with their friends
and family and telling them hey this is
a great product that you're willing to
put your name behind it and when you
have belief behind your product and you
understand it and and and associate with
them benefits from it that's a huge
advantage right there because you have
no problems posting on your Instagram or
Facebook doing a YouTube video you're
passionate about getting it out there to
help people to make a difference to
solve maybe a problem or to benefit
people in some way those are the best
products to find if you have that
passion and drive behind it then you
will succeed with the product or
regardless I don't care how much
competition is out there stop worrying
about the competition make the
competition worry about you so thank you
